The technician correctly diagnosed the issue. Our problem came when I asked about repair costs. All the tech had was a glossy book with a variety of prices ranging from $ 1300 to $ 700. When I asked the price of the part and break down on install costs, he couldn’t give it to me. I sent him on his way & found a reputable HVAC company who researched and found my system was in warranty (less than 10 years old) so parts were free and install was under $ 450 with five year guaranty on parts & labor. Won’t be calling Progressive again, too ‘Slick Willy’ for me.

I called Progressive Heating and Air after another company supposedly «fixed» our problem. (Scott Walker HVAC is TERRIBLE) Progressive REALLY fixed it AND did so for a reasonable price! I will call them from now on!
