Closed. This location, and the type of food served was never going to make it. Location is everything.

It started out bad and remained that way our entire visit. Waitstaff were sloth like. Food was horrible, 2 of the 5 meals had to be sent back because they were not edible. All in all just a bad experience and will never return.

Took my wife to lunch and was very disappointed. Arrived at 11:40 and got seated. Nobody served us for 20 minutes even though it appeared there were enough servers running around. As I looked around other guests were also waiting to be served and they were only 30% full. As we got up to leave I made it a point to tell the manager why we were leaving and he did not seem to care. We will never be back. Too many better restaurants in this area.

Big improvement from previous experiences in service department. It is Shoneys so you know what your getting when you come, and sometimes just simple classic comfort food is what I’m in the mood for. Burgers are my pick most times and are very reasonably priced and have a good flavor.

Yikes! Breakfast bar has not gotten any better than it was back in the 80’s during my drinking days when we used to frequent after all nighters. The food was dried out to say the least and looked terrible with terrible selections I might add. We were seated by a halfass hostess who explained to us who our waiter would be. The poor guy happened to be the only waiter in the house so we had to wait a good while as did everyone else. I noticed while waiting, the hostess stand had three women just standing there doing absolutely nothing which kinda ticked me off. I explained to the waiter that I wanted pancakes with the buffet he said they would have to get them from the kitchen as ordered? Why they were’nt on the bar is beyond me as they were not that special either. Due to our experience, I will not be returning to this resturant and definetly would not recommend them either. Breakfast bar for two and tip almost $ 27 dollars Wow!

Food was not good. Chicken pot pie was too salty. Pasta was funny tasting n dry from sitting out too long. Waited over 30min for the steak. Initially cooked the wrong steak they said. This was ontop of the chicken pot pie delay because something happened in the kitchen supposedly. In total waited over an hour for all of our food to arrive. Instead of eating together our party ate at different times as the food trickled in. Staff was terrible, unhelpful. Flagged down hostess and other waitstaff to get silverware, more soda and each time they said they had to find our waitress instead of taking the initiative to do it themself. Thumbs down. This was our first time eating at Shoneys and it’ll be our last time too. Staff need to be better trained or cooks need to cook faster. It’s not like the place was packed at all. I’d say on a Saturday night the place was only half full. Try another chain this place just wasn’t any good. There’s Ruby Tuesday or Applebees nearby.

It’s Shoney’s and while this one is clean, friendly, and upscale in appearance it’s still Shoney’s. Breakfast /​Salad Bar, and menu. The food is suitable and reasonably priced for a moderate budget with appropriate portions.
On weekdays you can breeze in an out, weekends are more crowded in the AM cause of the breakfast bar, but lunch and dinner are not too bad.
Would recommend for families, large groups, and mini-​gathering spot as they have some tables in the back that would keep you out of the main dining area and offer some privacy. Would not recommend as a date spot or couples outing unless your over 50 or you want to split up within the next 5~7 days…

OK we all know Shoney’s and the type of food they serve. Wait staff as said by others needs more training. However my food was cooked well and timely. But this is no ordinary Shoney’s. If you want reasonable food with a great atmosphere try this place. I’m giving 4 stars based on comfort and price.

Friendly staff members that are lost in their profession. Food is edible but not worth the effort. Too many options in the neighborhood. If you are on foot go to Oh Charlie’s. Otherwise drive far far away.

The food is good for simple country cooking. The sunday buffet is a deal. The waitstaff are great, friendly and effecient. The problem is that there is a corporate employee named Janie that is often skulking around the restaurant harrassing the wait staff constantly. She yells at them for no reason, on some visits she has thrown water on them, pulled thier hair, curses at them and all of this in from of customers. The rest of the staff are professionals but this one supposed person in charge is so demeaning and aggressive to the employees that work there that it is uncomfortable to sit and eat while watching her do her dirty work. The corportate office needs to remove this person and restore peace for the diners.
