Stopped by for some pre duffy boat drinks, Was going to leave my car in there lot, and return 1 hr later, for dinner. Upon walking out i was told i had to pay the 6 dollars and remove my car from their lot if i was going to somewhere else. Will never return.

There is no better place then Billy’s for me in the Newport Beach Area. I love the patio and go there often. Many times we drive up in our boat and dock knowing that we are going to have a great time. Cash is by far, one of the best bartenders in the area and just all in all, a great guy. Stephanie the waitress and so many others just know how to take care of not only the locals but also all the visitors they get. I love the Mai Tai as well as the coconut shrimp. The Ahi is consistent every time and love their various specials. If you want to visit a great local place, visit here.

Angela is amazing. There was a group of us and the place was busy AF. Angela didn’t miss a beat. Service with a smile! Thanks.

Great spot for lunch I got the tuna toasted, it comes in sweet bread and with the option of cheese. I sat on the patio because it was a beautiful day and you over look the bay. It cost $ 6 dollars to park tho.

Nice room with view of the yachts at night! Pupu plater was decent. Chilean Sea Bass was delicious. Mai tai was a bit strong and had a slightly«off» taste. Live music with Rabbi Blu was cool. He made the dinner memorable.

Met some friends from LA for a casual dinner. The bar was extremely loud during happy hour and clearly had its regulars. The only drink available at a bargain during happy hour was a mai tai. Service was attentive, the dinner was excellent, swordfish, yellow fin tuna, mahi mahi, and halibut. Not particularly busy, so I don’t know that reservations are necessary, but probably a good bet. I was disappointed overall in Newport Beach, so it probably carries over to the restaurant.

Today, my family and I celebrated my father’s 60th birthday! The staff were sweet and professional from start to finish! We brought a cake to cut ourselves. Our waitress took the initiative to put the cake in the fridge, place candles on it, and delivered it to my dad to blow out. Afterwards, the staff cut the cake up and delivered it to us to eat! I wish I remembered our waitress’s name, but she was perfect! She checked up on us repeatedly and made sure we enjoyed every minute we were there at the restaurant. The food was superb, also! I would recommend this place to anyone!

First time here. Celebrated my girlfriends birthday. We both really enjoyed the live jazz and the environment around you with positive energy. A long drive from Inglewood but it was well worth it tonight for her! Great host and great service!

Their ambience was great, the service was very good. The wine good, the Louis salads were good the view great. The negatives. Not much crab or shrimp on our $ 25.00 salads. The server smelled like a burning cigarette.

Had a good experience today at lunch at Billy’s. Sat on the patio and had an amazing view of the marina. Fun place, Hawaiian vibe. Food is pretty good. I ordered the ahi sandwich and it came medium rare, but I should have ordered it rare sushi grade. Service was great. Valet parking $ 6. Good deal :)

Billy’s is a nice place for a relaxing drink and a nice water view. It gets very very busy on the weekends starting as early 11am. They have a small outdoor patio with a 10 person bar and about 10 tables with umbrellas. The food is alright mostly focusing on an island emphasis. I do enjoy the sausage platter. It has 3 types of sausages grilled with onions and bell peppers. The valet parking is convenient and cheap $ 6. Make sure you bring your sunglasses if you come during the day.

Came in today for a lil snack, few cocktails and a nice view. We got all the above! We seated ourselves in the L shaped booth in the lounge area. It puts you either facing the bar with a view of the harbor or facing the harbor with a view of the bar. Both sides are great and are much more comfortable than a chair. We seated with a a table for 2, however, you can probable fit 4 – 6 people depending on the configuration of the tables. A standard Billy’s cocktail is the Mai tai, which is super yummy. be careful people, these are addicting, go down super smoothly and before you know it, they hit ya. UBERONTHEWAY! For snacks, I ordered the Cho Cho and a side of jasmine rice. Cho Cho is very simple stew meat, great flavor in a sauce. The jasmine rice is very lights and simple. Not overwhelming, and a great side to the cho cho. Our server«Brook» was spot on. She was running the entire lounge and did so famously. All of our orders were quick and spot on. She was super friendly and seemed to enjoy her job, which is always a plus. Thanks again Billy’s!

Went for happy hour«Mai tai» special and it was great! I’ve also been for dinners at «Billy’s» and it’s not bad. The coconut shrimp app is one of my favorites. What’s special about this place is the cool Hawaiian ambiance and the views. Would definitely recommend the happy hour!

Love Billy’s. We are there once a week. Heidi our usual waitress is always great, Angie the bar tender outside treats us like family. Great food, the best Mai Tai’s. Love the Spicy ginger rice bowl, the burgers, coconut shrimp. My 1 year old daughter loves the Cho Cho. Always a nice place to start your saturday morning /lunch.

Billy’s achieves the four star mark only because of the setting and most importantly their Mai Tai’s. First I have to start with the setting; Billy’s is located on the water and the water side of the restaurant is paneled with glass giving everyone a beautiful view of the harbor. Now, the Mai tai… a simple drink that Billy’s has perfected. I like to imagine that little Keebler Mai tai elves are in the back concocting this god like nectar because yes, it’s THATGOOD. So it’s a necessary order if you come here. In regards to the food, I have never had dinner here but I have had a few of the appetizers. One word sums it up. BAD. For example, the garlic bread is literally off the shelf white bread that is spread with butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese or something. It’s also soggy, not crispy and toasty like real garlic bread should take. In my opinion, I would recommend this restaurant for pre dinner drinks only.

Yesterday I had lunch at Billy’s at the Beach with two friends. We got a seat right next to the glass with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were even entertained by people doing jet pack water adventures! The service was very good and our server very friendly. The food was also quite good and reasonably priced. I got the Fish Tacos, blackened with their delicious Hawaiian slaw(I could have made a meal out of just that because it was so good). My tacos were kind of bland and could have used a tasty sauce of some type. I tried the crab cakes where were delicious and my other friend got the Billy’s Burger which he said was very good. We were celebrating my friends birthday so we got a complimentary piece of mud pie to share. It was really good. All in all a good experience and I would go back again.

Made reservations for brunch outside on a Sunday morning. Their patio seating is nice, however, depending on where you sit the ocean view can be pretty limited. The seats aren’t exactly facing the water, but on the side of the restaurant; still nice though! The service was friendly and efficient. Ordered the mai tai which was great and then had the Hawaiian french toast(Thick cut Hawaiian bread soaked in a cinnamon batter and topped with pineapple and shredded toasted coconut served with a side of bacon. $ 15) which was delicious!!! Probably one of the best french toast’s I’ve ever had. Would definitely be back for the food and drinks because of the view and terrific service. Great spot!
