If it wasn’t in the building I work in, it would be a 4 star. But Jay is always behind the counter and the service is unbeatable. The sandwiches are a good deal for the area. There’s better sandwiches other places, but it’ll cost more and take more time. Quick and efficient with high quality meats. What else could be asked for in a lunch spot.

Too bad there is not a 10 star because Jay deserves it. I worked in the area before the crash and loved his café. Now that I am back to work and in Santa Ana, Jay totally takes care of me as I order breakfast for my team on my way in. He offers healthy meals and a good price. Jay is my main man :)

Mediocre at best, this place sits in the bottom of a corporate office on Dove Street. Don’t be fooled — this place is as sub-par as they come. The potato salad had no real flavor and the potatos tasted like they were boiled days in advance, so inedible I had to throw them out. I also had the split pea soup one day, carrots tasted old and the soup itself was watery — To put it bluntly, Campells soup from the can is a step up from this. If you come at lunch, the french bread pizza is the most affordable option at $ 4 — but make sure you get the pizza«for here» or they’ll gouge you 50 cents for a plastic container. You can be smart and bring a plastic bag to transfer the food into if you don’t want to eat it in the café. This place is built on convenience and it’s clear when you come in the owner is very aware of this. A very nice man who learns your name but that doesn’t make up for their food being low quality. The exception are the salads because you decide what and how much goes into them, the sandwiches aren’t too bad either because they use ‘Boar’s Head’ brand meats. They are both items that take real effort to screw up. The café across the street, «Café 4100» has a MUCH fresher, better tasting selection of food. When you walk in, it’s quite apparent that people actually walk across the street from the building with Café Arty’s to eat here and that Café Arty’s is only still in business sheerly because of the convenience of it being in a place where people don’t always have time to go out for lunch. No one BUT those who work in their building eats here and even then I’d say more than half of them go out because of the lack of quality at Café Arty’s. If I’m going to pay $ 5 for an egg salad sandwich on normal sliced bread, it at least better be really good. Get the chips, a drink, a salad, a sandwich, or don’t bother going out of your way for this formulaic corporate building café.

Owner jay and his wife are great people. This place is a staple here near my office and the food is always good. Plenty of snacks stocked for anytime of day. Soups, sandwiches, and good salads. Fresh food.

Great little place and the prices are great!!! I only give it four and not five starts as I wish they had slightly better choices. But, for the price and quality, one cannot complain. Love those breakfast burritos!!!

Jay and family run a great café. I feel fortunate to have them so close and have quit visiting the other plethora of café’s in the area around my office because they knock it out of the park. Quick, inexpensive, and a perfect lunch spot.

This place should really be called«Jays», as Jay and his family own this amazing café! First and foremost the service is incredible and very personal. Next, the food is unbelievably delicious and is almost all HOMEMADE! There are a plethora of items to choose from on the menu and always have daily specials. Lastly, you cannot beat the price as I’m not even sure if there is anything on the menu over $ 7. THEBEST. Arty’s is a MUSTTRY!

This little treasure of a café is located in the building I work, and I find myself having no incentive to drive to other places for lunch. The owners are friendly, genuine and after just one or two visits they’ll memorize your name and order! I could eat here everyday(and I do). If you stop by this place, try their Turkey Club under Specialty Sandwiches. Also Thursday is burrito day, and you do not want to miss out on that.

I feel so lucky to work in a building that has such an awesome café. My food always comes out quickly and perfectly every single time. Jay is a machine and the breakfast burritos are amazing. The quality of food here is a lifesaver considering that the nearest cheap eats are Taco Bell and other fast food places. Also they have daily specials that come with a side and drink for about $ 6.00. My personal favorite is the Friday Lasagna.

I have nothing but good things to say about this mom & pop café. Jay and his wife are excellent, and always remember my name and my usual turkey avocado sandwich on squaw bread. It’s incredibly convenient for businesses here on dove street and offers great pricing as well. There is also great seating and a lounge area outside. On a side note, Jay stocks birthday cards and such, cigarettes, etc for extra convenience. Summary: great little café with great food and exceptional convenience. Thumbs up from me.

Went here after seeing all the fabulous reviews on Unilocal and sure enough, it met my expectations. Had the turkey lavash and the lavash was delicate and thin but kept all the filling intact. Much better than a tortilla wrap where you are eating so much of the tortilla. The lavash did a great job holding everything together while not giving me the unnecessary extra carbs. Good lunch size too. Tortilla soup was great. No addition of any creams as I can tell. The soup was thick and the thickening agent seemed to be ground up corn tortillas. Yummy. Service was super fast, efficient and courteous. Great place if you just want to grab a quick bite or take it to go. They had a lot more seating than what I expected though. I’ll definitely be going back. Saw on their menu that they cater food for events and deliver for tabs over $ 20. Will seriously consider taking advantage of this for some of our company events. They open at 6a. Will definitely consider stopping by one morning and picking up the $ 2 breakfast burrito that everyone is recommending.

My favorite lunch place conveniently located to where I work. I work in the building next door and almost always come here for lunch. Whenever I am in a rush or I’d have to work through my lunch, I’ll almost always come here. I love their oriental chicken salad — their portions are generous. $ 6.00 Their tuna salad sandwich on wheat is good too $ 5.00 Egg salad sandwich is good too! It’s also $ 5.00 I’ll have to come here for breakfast to try out their breakfast burritos :).

This place is awesome for an office park café. The food isn’t anything terribly fancy, but I was supremely stoked to find out it was not only less than a mile from my office building but also relatively cheap with a massive selection! Breakfast burritos for $ 2? Are you kidding me? If I worked in this building I’d be a happy fatty living on breakfast burritos every morning. I had their turkey club on sourdough with a side of potato salad(I guess you can also get chips or a salad instead) for under $ 7. Kinda wish I would have gone with chips instead because the potato salad was a bit too bland for my liking — but still, good enough that I ate the whole thing. Plus the sandwich was surprisingly stuffed — they used a good amount of turkey, fresh cooked bacon(not that slimy thin/fatty excuse for bacon they use at Subway) and fresh lettuce which I totally appreciate. I hate when I get a sandwich from somewhere that has a hint of brown to the lettuce. It just kills it for me. I drove down here, ordered a sandwich, and managed to get back to my office in under 15 minutes, which meant I didn’t have to pay for parking. If you don’t work at this building they do have a parking attendant that you have to get by, but if you just pick up your lunch to go, you should definitely be able to make it in and out without having to pay the $ 1.00 per 15 minutes fee. I’m slightly bummed I missed the special of the day board — they had a sandwich similar to the turkey club but it included more toppings AND guacamole with a side and a drink for $ 6.50! Considering their options and the close proximity to my office, I will definitely be back on those days when I forget to pack myself a lunch.

I appreciate Café Arty’s. The customer service is fantastic. The food is fresh, and the prices are definitely affordable for the area. The owner is always VERY kind and friendly. As is his wife and family. I always feel good when I leave giving business to them. The salad always has fresh vegetables and Jay helps me get in and out of there in under 10 minutes so I don’t have to pay for parking. :) They have amazing sandwiches, which I wish I could more often… but that’s another story. I ordered the grilled chicken pesto and it was BOMB. Warm, with flavorful pesto and the bread was soft and fresh. They always have the best sounding menu items too. SO tempting. For someone who sticks to their salads, I’m happy they are always fresh and crisp.

This is one of the better office park breakfast and lunch places that I have found. Look, all these places are pretty much the same, however, I go here because it’s convenient with typically fast service. The owners are a couple who seem pretty friendly and after a few times visiting this place we were on a first name basis. A few items to try: Hot Roast Beef– it’s actually not hot temperature wise but spicy wise and it’s quite tasty. Muffaletta sandwich with Italian meats, cheeses and olive salad California club with a good helping of avocado Massive chicken burrito served with a side of nachos– the kind you get at a ballgame– chips, fake cheese and jalapenos Potato Salad– most sandwiches come with a choice of sides, but you should get the potato salad as it’s delicious Salad bar– haven’t tried yet, but it looks like a good option Their prices are reasonable, with the daily special, which includes a beverage, running around $ 6.50.

Located in a corporate tower, Arty’s wouldn’t really be worth a review if it was a standalone operation. But for the convenience aspect and also being able to directly compare it to a similar«corporate» café across the street which does everything worse, this is 4* in my book. The daily special is the best value they offer(running around $ 7 including drink). Sandwiches are good quality and slightly expensive, but again you’re paying for convenience. They do come with your choice of a side salad or kettle chips. A good option for lunch if you are in walking distance!
