Brought in a dress to wear to a black tie wedding for tailoring along with a dress and pants for work. All three came out perfectly and cost $ 73. Yes, expensive, but for items you really care about or are complex to work on, worth it!

Based on a recommendation from an employee at BCBG, I took my dress into Classic Tailoring. I needed the shoulders taken in and the sides. I was concerned about having the dress altered since it would require skill to maintain its unique shape. The dress was tailored perfectly and looks as if it was never touched. I am very happy with the work performed, though expensive, it was worth it. Thank you!

Very upsetting. The tailor said they’re busy so it would take two weeks. I come in to pick up my pants only to find out he’s just now working on it. If you say its going to be ready on specific date, then I expect it to be ready anytime on that day. RUDEANDARROGANT for someone who hasn’t earned the credibility to be called a tailor.

A little over priced and not punctual. They were not very apologetic about it either. It was an ok place, but I would probably never come back again due to poor customer service.

I am a personal shopper/stylist and I work with Tailors ALL the time. Having just moved here from LA I was excited to find a tailor near Fashion Island that I could try out and start a working relationship with. I called this morning to ask if they do same day service, the man said yes come on down. I was quoted $ 25 to do a hem which was fine. I just picked up the dress and never in my life have I been so disrespected. He changed the the price to $ 30 and I asked why, he then shouts at me «You dont know anything about tailoring, we did you a favor», not explaining why he added $ 5, which I was fine to pay if he could explain it. What a slimy owner and the work was average quality. Save your time and to go someone who wont be such a jerk.

Along with Arturo’s, best tailors in Newport. A little pricier but a more convenient location within Fashion Island and has better parking than Arturo’s. Highly recommend both and would say make your decision based on price and time.

I highly recommend Classic Tailoring. I now live in Long Beach, but continue to drive to the OC to have alterations made here. Not only can they repair hems, they can repair moth holes in cashmere sweaters. They are true tailors. I have taken in luxury items owned by my mother(size 10 – 12), and have had them re-sized to fit me(size 4 – 6). They make custom suits for men. They have re-lined Chanel jackets for me. If you have fine, high end items, they are the place to go for alterations!
