I also was so happy when a James Perse store was opened in Newport Beach. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They are good with sizes and very helpful.
James Perse clothing is very comfortable in styling and fabrics used.
Only a couple of times I have been concerned. A fabric they used about 5 years ago would stretch each time I wore it. It became longer until I washed it again. Eventually it became a nusiance and I got rid of them. Since then there has not been a problem A pair of pants I bought this year seems to have gotten a lot of thread pulls. But I enjoy their fabrics and styles so much that I continue to buy them but I’m more careful about the fabric.

Yaaayyy! We have a James Perse store in Newport!!! It is located in the same center as Haute Cakes. Meaning, you can lunch where the cool people eat and then shop for cool stuff. It is a pretty small shop compared with some of the other JP boutiques, but who cares, I’ll take it! I had great service today from a sweet girl. She ordered the top I wanted from another store, no shipping charges (thanks!). I glanced around a bit more and was THRILLED to see that many of the items were made in the USA. For a while, I saw a lot of James’ stuff was made in Vietnam and that made me sad. Did you hear that James??? Bring it all back to the US! I will pay more and shop more if it is made here. Please!!!
