Jos. A. Banks

I visited the Bluffs Jos A Bank for the first time tonight and was welcomed with awesome customer service and a high quality product. Thank you specifically to Gary Halkett, the store manager, for going above and beyond in respect to customer service. I will definitely be back.

I ordered four suits on September 4. They said 3 to 5 business days, but the suits were not ready until mid November. I asked if they could compensate me anyway for the long wait time such as free alterations, and they simply said «no.» I’m taking them to be altered anywhere else, and I will never be coming back to this company again.

When you lose around 20% of your body weight, your clothes start to fit «funny»…as in «clown pants» funny.
Oh sure, you can take some of your stuff to the tailor and get things altered here and there… but let’s face it… you can’t alter some things enough to make them both fit and look like you weren’t just released from the Oregon State Institution for the Criminally Mis-​Dressed (immortalized on film in «One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest… so very true to life).
I was tired of «cinching» every pair of pants that I own in order to keep from being mistaken for Kanye (I was saggin’ big time and I really don’t want to see a Kardashian coming at me with love in her eye) so I decided that I needed «interim» trousers.
Something for the period between where I was and where I am headed.
And Jos. A. Banks did a great job of filling the gap!
The buy one get two and buy one get three and buy one get four sales (hey, their sales confuse me as much as they do you, but still… a pretty good deal for decent clothing) are always going on and you can find a pretty good selection of clothes for not a great deal of money!
That’s critical in my situation… even though I found some things that I like… I know that I won’t be wearing my new dud’s all that long (my weight will stabilize and then I’m off to At Ease again).
But, you know what… I found some pants and sweaters and shirts that I like and maybe I’ll swing back by JAB for some smaller sized pants when I reach my fighting weight… or maybe I’ll just cinch ‘em.

HEARD good stuff about this store. dennis prager show recommends them… they advertise suits for $ 299 signature suits… i went in and asked about them and they had none available. but i was shown $ 750 to $ 1500 suits… got a much better suit and price at macys

They have good stuff. I came in because I got a gift card from a former student, and I used it when they were having a 2-​for-​1 or 3-​for-​1 sale. I got a good deal.
Unfortunately, on my second visit, I got into a shouting match with the sales lady. I declined to participated in their marketing-​research efforts. I declined to tell them where I work, etc. She kept pressing. I asked for my credit card back. She didn’t want to give it to me. I took it anyway, and walked out without buying what I had intended.
I think I’m done with these guys.
