I have had chronic back pain for almost 20 years. I was told by a few doctors that I the next step would be surgery. I then found Dr. Safman, and I can tell you that I not only found her extremely kind, good listener but most importantly, a great doctor. We have tried a few different things, and it seems it is working. Dr. Safman has a great ability and wanting to help you, unlike some other doctors that just walk in and say what they think I should do, with out really consulting with me. Thank you Dr. Safman.

I am 87 years old and have been planning a trip to the baltic countries and Russia for several years. This was to be a trip to places that were important to me when I was young and i wanted to re-visit.About six weeks prior to the start of my trip I started to experience excruciating pain in my hip and lower back and thought the trip would have to be aborted. I saw Dr Safman and after several visits and injections I am now able to leave on my trip tomorrow. The pain is not totally gone but materially better.
Dr.Safman not only treated me succesfully medically, but also was kind and thoughtful during my visits. She also made it possible for me to see her when I needed to.
This is truly one physician who not only brings her head to work every day, but also her heart. Rare as this is today.

Dr Safman did my epidural today. First by her, but my 9^th in last 7 – 8 years. Dr Safman was very gods at talking me through her progress, very gentle and concerned with
my comfort. Hours later and I am pain free and very impressed with care and 45 minutes at her office. Great experience.

I find Dr Safman to be friendly and very courteous every time I see her. I’ve had many injections from her and she has a very steady and quick hand. She looks after my pain management and back issues along with deep cortisone injections. If one needs an awesome spinal specialist that’s nice you should visit Dr. Safman, believe me I know good doctors, I have 7 specialist and general for all my issues.

I am a patient of Dr. Kimberly Safman’s. When I first went to see her I was feeling hopeless, and my life had been taken over by the constant nearly unendurable pain that I was feeling. Dr. Safman gave me back my quality of life and she gave me something else – hope. Having her as a doctor is like having someone who is in the boat with you, she really takes ownership of her patients’ cases. Having that kind of support when you are dealing with a chronic pain issue is absolutely wonderful and makes all of the difference in the world. On top of all of that, Dr. Safman is extremely knowledgeable about her field of medicine. Not to mention that she is super-​talented when it comes to administering any kind of nerve block or other treatment. I am always struck by how professional and caring she is. For me, she has raised the bar very high when it comes to other doctors/​folks in the medical field. She gives what I consider the gold standard of care. I have so much to thank Dr. Safman for. I have been able to live a full life despite my pain, and my continuous work to get better, and I owe it all to the amazing care given me by Dr. Safman. I often think of how I can thank her, and I now realize there is no way in the world I could possibly ever thank her for all she has done for me.
