Paradise Delight is talented and skillful as a whole, however Chris is very hard to work with, has quite an ego and terrible client relations. As an event planner I expect my vendors to be professional, courteous and prompt, none of these describe Chris. He misses deadlines, does not communicate well and is a diva. When given an exact direction and very clear picture (literally) of what I wanted he offered a very cheap, unacceptable example three weeks late. When challenged to bring it up to standard he gave attitude and threw a tantrum about not being involved more in the planning. I would not recommend hiring Paradise. You don’t need the added stress to your event!

This review is long overdue! Chris & his team were outstanding! When I saw his flawless work, I thought Paradise Delight was going to be out of my price range. He worked with me on everything, staying within my budget. On the day of my wedding, all of my vendors fell short of my expectations except for Chris. Shockingly, he actually provided the service we agreed upon, which is a concept my other vendors failed to understand. I am so thankful to Chris because he was the only vendor that did not rob me of my day like my other vendors who were careless and selfish. He did more than he was hired to do and stepped up to the plate & practically became my wedding planner, calming me down & getting everything ready because I had a meltdown. Even after the wedding, he followed up with me making sure that I do not let those horrible vendors get away with what they did to me on my day. He knows what he’s doing & you definitely want him on your team! Thanks again, Chris. I sincerely appreciate all that you did.

Chris Crisologo added unnecessary stress to an already stressful event — a wedding. He acted very unprofessional (like a diva) and threatened to quit day before the wedding, in an attempt to manipulate us into paying additional $ 900 to an already overpriced flower arrangement (which we did, as we had no other option on such short notice). I would not recommend him to any bride, if she want’s to keep her sanity and stress levels low.

I used Paradise for my wedding in April. The flowers were beautiful and Chris did do a great job in bringing my vision to life. However there was a huge mistake that took place that if I hadn’t checked, he probably would’ve gotten away with.
I gave Chris my deceased grandfathers handkerchief to wrap my bouquet with. After going my whole wedding day thinking my grandfather was there in spirit I discovered the handkerchief used was not of my grandfathers. I should’ve known something was up when the handkerchief was wrapped on the inside instead of displayed on the outside as Chris showed me. After calling him in tears, he admitted to me that the handkerchief had indeed been lost and he let go of the florist that caused the mistake. He seemed sincere with his apology and offered me a $ 300 dollar credit to make up for the mistake. At that point I accepted his apology because honestly, what was done was done and there was no way of going back in time to my wedding day and having him fix it. I still to this day don’t understand why it was not brought to my attention that the handkerchief had been lost so it could’ve been replaced, but oh well!
Anyway forward to this weekend when I finally used the $ 300 credit that Chris offered to me. My sister in law and mother through me a baby shower and used Chris for the centerpieces. My shower theme was «Lil Monsters», an invite was provided to him for reference of colors, theme, and it was also talked about with my sister in law over the phone. When I walked into my shower yesterday the flowers were place in Love Buggies… LOVE BUGGIES! How in the world does a Love Buggy fit into a Lil Monsters theme! My sister in law was very upset and disappointed. At this point I feel as though my kindness has been taken advantaged of and that Paradise doesn’t care about their customers. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt with the handkerchief issue, but now with this I’m actually appalled. Not to mention the flowers used were not worthy of the $ 300 that he promised me. I will NEVER recommend this business to any of my family and friends. If you are having you’re wedding at Orange Hill restaurant in Orange I highly recommend going with the other vendors they have to offer!

WORST FLORIST JOB EVER!
First off, I do want to thank them for getting things done so quickly, since I had come to them last minute after the company suggested by our venue flaked on us. However, that’s exactly the quality I received, something that was put together last minute. I was quite unhappy with the quality of flowers they put on the tables and in the bouquets. My bridesmaid’s bouquets were falling apart mid ceremony and It was really embarrassing to not be able to use the bouquets during the pictures because they had fallen apart. The centerpieces were dull and were not as unique and grandeur as we had discussed. I had asked for fishes and I was told by Chris, that I would have colorful fishes and I had even requested that I have some blue and pink fishes. The fishes were simply small, dull and ugly. I was charged $ 60.00 for ugly bottom feeder fishes. I don’t understand why they would even put fishes in the vases if they could not find the right ones we had talked about. They should have communicated with me other alternatives.
The flowers for the ceremony were NOT what I had asked for. I asked for the orchids to be draped on our arch and instead, they sat off to the side where no one could see them. It later fell over and spilled all over my dress.
Lastly, for our sweetheart table, while I actually did like the arrangement, it was not the one I had requested. I had requested the brown plate with chopsticks and an orchid on top. I thought that’s what I would be getting, as I specifically showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted.
I do not feel that I got superior quality flowers and centerpieces for my wedding. When I walked into my reception, I was actually quite embarrassed at how simple and dull everything was. I was very specific in my request of having something fun, pier like and elegant. I was too embarrassed to tell my guests who did the flowers. I didn’t get any compliments and rather got people asking, «What happened to the flowers?» I had to tell them that a family friend did them at the last minute. $ 2500 is a LOT of money to spend on flowers. If money was an object, they should have expressed that to me instead of fooling me into thinking that they would do a superior job with the money I gave them. Most florists take what money you have and can do a fantastic job because they are THAT talented. It’s all about money with Chris. He will only do a good job if you are paying $ 5000 or more, regardless of how much the flowers actually cost.
I had an amazing florist all lined up that I had been working with for 8 months and it wasn’t until about 2 months before when our wedding planner told me that I would have to pay an 18% tax on all outside vendors, that I decided to go with Paradise Flowers. I now regret not paying the 18% tax. I did all the flowers for my bridal shower and spent about $ 1000 less and they looked way more amazing. I don’t understand how this happened. They asked me to look through their galleries and choose what I wanted, which I did and yet nothing I wanted was represented in my wedding.
Like I said, I was happy with their speedy service, our sweetheart table arrangement and my bouquet but everything else was a disaster.
When I gave my feedback to Chris about how unsatisfied I was, he basically replied that because I ONLY gave them $ 2500, the flowers weren’t as good. Clearly they aren’t creative enough to have come up with something amazing based on all the suggestions I gave them.
Please be forewarned about the quality you will receive when working with this florist before you go into business with them. If anything, based on their website, to the quality I received, this was indeed false advertisement.

We could not have hired a better company to do the floral design for our wedding! Chris is so easy to work with and he made the process fun! He is also very creative. his ideas really made our wedding unique and we could not have received more compliments! His talent is unmatched and he really helped to ‘set the tone’ of our wedding by delivering exactly what we wanted, only better. I would recommend Chris and Paradise Delight to all Bride’s!

Chris was great to talk to when ordering my daughter’s graduation lei. I know he must be very busy with bigger projects, but he treated me like we were the number 1 client. The lei was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely trust Chris with any floral projects or events that you need.

My fiancé and I met with Chris today. Prior to our meeting, I knew I was going to like him. He was very interested, friendly, and attentive to detail. I also saw some of his work before our meeting and loved it so I was very excited. Our meeting with Chris only confirmed my initial judgment. He is awesome! Really, I highly recommend him. He is very interested in meeting his client’s needs and is EXTREMELY talented. His work is amazing. I brought my soon to be sister-​in-​law who does a lot of event planning so she knows even more than I would about florists and floral design and she said he is the best she has seen. He can meet any one’s style efficiently and beautifully. My wedding is next month and I am so confident I will love Chris’ work. I can’t wait.

Paradise Delight was recommended by our wedding planner. Chris, the owner, was extremely professional and talented. He took the time to really understand what I was looking for, he provided lots of pictures/​options, and was very easy to work with. When I wanted to make changes to the arrangements after our first mock-​up meeting prior to the wedding, Chris was very accomodating. The flowers turned out beyond my expectations and made our wedding day truly beautiful. Highly recommend.
