Great place and amazing food!!! It’s an incredible place! Service is great! I had the salmon salad and it was phenomenal!!! I would definitely go back again to this place! The manager/owner was really nice. And the employees were nice too! Will be back!

Delicious food, and a great outdoor area. The only problem is the service is terrible. Get your food to go or you’ll be stuck there for a while.

Wahoooo back again. Working my way thru the menu. Yum yum. Caramelized cauliflower, cilantro jalapeño hummus and mussels were delicious.

Used Pita Jungle for catering for an event recent and was happy with the result. The food was delicious and was delivered on time. The serving of pita was really generous. Lisa from catering was super helpful and attentive. All in all good experience. Also, the garlic sauce they make is incredible. I definitely recommend it.

Don’t let the name fool you. This place is a very cool Mediterranean hipster restaurant. — I challenge anyone to spell ‘mediterranean’ without spell-check ;) Good salads & hot pitas, and cold gazpacho was great in the summer… Very friendly staff. And Tristan makes this killer homemade red sangria with red wine, rum, cinnamon, lemon… …aaaaaannd, ummm… i can’t remember what else, but it’s good, yum… Duke

My wife was craving something fresh and I something Mediterranean and this place was on point. The menu was very extensive, fresh, and delicious. I had the falafel pita and my wife the falafel salad. We also had a small hummus dip. I could immediately taste the freshness of the ingredients and could not stop staring at what was coming out if the kitchen it all looked amazing. I will definitely be coming back.

Came here after a long hiatus, probably haven’t been here in a year. I remembered to check and got a free hummus! It’s a good sized plate of hummus, but you only get one pita bread, uncut, so you will have to rip or cut it yourself. Would be nice if they quartered it for you.(Unless they just wanted me to work for my free dip.) Their hummus is a little bit on the runny side, fyi. And we had lots leftover because we ran out of bread. I ordered the gyro sandwich. Thick slices of meat, very tender, but super salty. I left feeling like my tongue had been pickled and was all shriveled up. I’m still thirsty several hours later. Some of my lettuce was brown, which I picked out. Maybe leaving it in would have made it not so salty. Otherwise, the gyro was good, and it was quite big. I wish they would have served it on a larger plate. It was served on a bread plate, but I wanted to knife-and-fork my gyro because it was so large. So, I pretty much made a mess of the table. My guest got the turkey pesto lavash wrap, which came with a salad, and the wrap was huge! She had half leftover at the end. Service was good, food came out fairly quickly. They did accidentally put avocado on my gyro, but they gave me the option to take it or have it remade.(Of course, I took the free avo.) Overall, not a bad experience, but I’ve had better here. Will stick to the shawarma that I usually get. P. S. Warning on the bathroom — you will get punched in the face with the overpowering smell of air freshener when you walk in.

Bad service. I called in to order and was told food would be ready in 15 minutes. I have been waiting for 30 minutes and the place is not even packed. The good is actually excellent and it worths waiting :) Perhaps setting up wait time expectation would work.

I have been to many of the locations in Arizona and this one is just as good. Fresh tasting food, fast service, and a good happy hour menu. My favorite dish is the Chicken and Hummus appetizer. I routinely get that as my meal.

Food: The complimentary trio dip(thanks Unilocal Check-In) was good! I was expecting pita chips, but it came with pita bread which was still good! I got the Wood Fired Pizza w/Garlic and Portobello mushrooms. It tasted fresh but it came on a thin light crust. I was expecting a crunchy texture, but it actually got soggy and flimsy really fast. The flavors were still there and good though! Customer service: We had a friendly waitress! We went around 3pm on a weekday so it was empty. The waitress let us sit in the back for more privacy, which was considerate. Vibe: Large, open eating space. Great for large or small parties. Its a good place to have a casual lunch and drink. Bottom line: Good food, good service, comfortably atmosphere. I would come here again, but probably not regularly.

So I was coaching at CDM high school, and wanted to try a local hot spot. Well this place did not disappoint via the food. The service was nothing special, but the check in deal for a free dip is a great deal. Ok so the food! I got the garlic potato dip, with pita bread, very tasty. Reminded me of Armenian food. I also got a gyro which was pretty bombtastic. The meat was well seasoned and fresh, also not greasy! It also had fresh crisp veggies which took it over the top. So I would recommend this place for the food.

Perfect place for work lunches/business meetings. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with modern décor and natural lighting.(Check into Unilocal for a free small dip!) Got the chicken tikka masala($ 11.99) and it was delicious. Only ate half and saved the other half for later since the pita with the dip filled me up. Looking around, the salads look HUGE and appetizing. Will definitely get a salad next time! My lunch mate got a pita wrap & this was a lot more food than expected. Great for people with big appetites. and small appetites since the other half can be taken back to the office for a snack. Gets busy right at noon, come a little bit early to get prime seating and quick service.

I came here for lunch the other day not knowing what to expect. Being a lunch snob I figured my luck with 5 star restaurants would soon come to an end. Well pleasantly surprised I’m still blessed by the gods of food and today I found another gem. The menu has a variety of delicious food in every category. Enough to make your mouth water but not too much to make your brain confused.. I ended up ordering the poke dish that was filled with fresh mango, herbs, fresh ahi tuna and more. For a moment I thought this is way to delicious to be healthy. And for the portion size. well it was perfect. You can’t go wrong here as the menu offers a bit of everything. Guaranteed to satisfy your hunger.

Pita Jungle is so good! I’ve come during happy hour and during lunch and both experiences have been great. Try the hummus trio(though I tend to favor the red pepper one). I also had the chicken gyro and it was really good. The tzatiki is really refreshing. Yum!

We found this place on Unilocal when coming to Newport Beach for the boat parade. I was impressed, it was everything I hoped for and better! They have the best hummus I have ever had. The lavash pizza with grilled chicken is scrumptious. The General Manager Brian Smith was very attentive. He came by our table personally to check on us. He seemed to care a lot about the diners experience. We will be back. This place is a gem!

I came here for a company work party and I was overall very impressed with this restaurant. It was very clean and open, lots of tables, and a bar area. There is also outdoor seating with pretty lights and heated lamps. In the catered menu, we ordered the appetizers with different types of pita bread, hummus(regular, cilantro garlic, roasted tomato garlic, garlic), falafel and sauce, chicken salad, tomato mozzarella basil dish. Main entres included chicken, mixed steamed vegetables, smashed potatoes, fruit, baklava dessert. Overall very delicious! Service was great. Our server was very nice and always checked up on us with water refills, plate clean ups, and more. The person in charge of catering services was so nice and accommodating to our requests. I highly recommend this place!

Trio hummus… was really good plus we used our Unilocal check in and got it free!!! Sangria was so-so… wouldn’t order it again. Service needs work… we came in for a paint night event,(had a great time) but we had to ask twice for a hostess to come take our orders, when we finally flagged her down, she had no menus for us, we had to ask her to bring us some, really –_– wow… then my friend asked for water twice and it Never came –_– My first time at this place and I was a newbie at paint night so not sure if they were just short staffed, however the other ladies part of paint night kept getting their drinks refilled –_–

Located in the lovely Newport, only about 7 minutes from the beach and Pita Jungle was our choice today! This sounds like a fast food spot, right? Well little did we know, we walked into a packed, spacious, and decent-décor filled sit down restaurant. A fusion of Mediterranean, American and Mexican. Big selection of wraps, sandwiches, pizza’s, and a variety of salads. I came here for lunch with some girlfriends and shared a half hummus and taziki dip alongside a Spankopita(ask for lemons to squeeze on top– my Peruvian side coming out!) Being my vegetarian self, I ended up ordering the Veggie wrap which included brown rice, an assortment of beans, tomato, feta cheese which was wrapped in foil. It was a lot larger than I expected, so I only ended up eating half(wraps are share-able!) It was delicious, I must say, I really loved the feta cheese blend with the beans– I’d never seen that before! Overall, the service was decent, nothing over the top that I can commend, and definitely a spot I’d love to come back to and check out some of their other items.

Pita Jungle is a nice Mediterranean restaurant in Newport. I had the chicken tikki masala and a few HH tapas. The chicken tikki masala was a pretty good portion, with lots of chicken. The sauce had a hint of coconut milk, which reminds me of a thai curry. For the tapas, I tried the scallops, mussels, falafel and lemon chicken. The falafel was my favorite. It had a nice crunch on the outside and moist on the inside. The other tapas items are small and not really worth it. I’d recommend the falafel and chicken masala. P. S. check in for a free dip! I got jalapeño one!

3.5 but rounding up to a 5. I had the falafel pita. The falafel was cooked nicely, not super dried out as it tends to be at other places. The rest of the pita was lacking in flavor though… I couldn’t discern if there was a sauce in the pita(I’m sure there was). It was really in the middle for me. I also added the garlic potatoes for about $ 3, it was a nice side to go along with my dish. If I did come back, I would try one of their salads, the portions are huge for a reasonable price. Service was attentive and quick. Nice lunch spot in the area but don’t know if this will be my go to spot when I’m hankering for Mediterranean.
