The Computer Friend

Went because had a virus, stupid pop up’s on my computer, was worried about timing. Microcenter told me they could not get done for a few days, Computer Friend had it done the same day and for a responsible price. Very happy.

This might have been the best Unilocal search I have ever done. I have been really frustrated with not being able to buy a new tablet (Ipad Mini) because no one has been able to tell me EASILY how to transfer my data, photos, music, etc. from my old one. Really difficult to understand what the Apple guys were trying to tell me. I wanted to give up, but decided to try one local small business and I chose The Computer Friend. I went by their office, and Paul came out, listened to my tale, and then proceeded to TAKE 20 MINUTES OF HIS TIME TO KINDLY WALK ME THROUGH ALL THE SIMPLE SOLUTIONS! I was blown away. I kept telling him that I needed to compensate him for all his knowledge and he simply kept saying «No worries, that’s what we are here for»!! Paul knows more about phones, computers, tablets, brands, and the like than anyone I know AND he’s happy to share this knowledge without reservation OR obligation! Fast forward and I went directly to my CELL Provider (Paul’s suggestion) and 30 minutes later I had a new tablet!!! Incredible!!!
The Computer Friend is a perfect example of a small business that cares. I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know from now on, and hope that all of you will as well.

These guys are GREAT! Daniel was able to come to my office immediately and fix ALL my computer problems. Fry’s tried diligently for 3 days to do what Daniel was able to do in a very short time. These guys are super friendly, knowledgable and reasonable. My new «Fry’s» — these guys go WAY above and beyond. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I met Anthony (owner of The Computer Friend) through a client of mine. I work as a part time CFO for multiple small and mid size businesses, so I’ve worked with many different IT consultants. Out of all the IT guys I’ve worked with I’d recommend Anthony for the following reasons:
+ Friendly, service oriented… he is the owner, so he cares about customer service
+ Excellent communication skills
+ No «I know it all» attitude… he’s knowledgeable and has experience with business networks, but he’s not arrogant like other IT consultants I’ve met.
+ Pricing is very fair and he’s reasonable with his time allocation
+ Offers good, better and best solution options
+ Will provide a reasoned opinion if a piece of hardware or software should be upgraded or replaced. Isn’t just going to alway recommend that you buy new.
+ Able to use online tools to access your computer remotely to analyze/​fix problems.
I now regularly recommend Anthony to clients, friends and family. He even has upgraded my home network. BTW, Anthony charged me the same rate as he charges his business clients (no special discount). I just believe in supporting any professional who delivers good service at a reasonable hourly rate. I try to do the same in my business too.

They handle web hosting for our business, have taught our employees to be computer literate, tutored my husband and I over the years with setting up new equipment and software issues, and have assisted us in purchasing equipment for our home and business. This place is great. After I got a «blue screen» I brought my PC to them. They are highly competent, fast, professional, and reasonably priced.
Much easier to use than going to Geek Squad.
After the fix, I had them do a few upgrades. I could not be happier with the experience.

My self-​built desktop of 3 years wouldn’t start up so, being the lover of small business, I thought I’d give this place a try.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Being a 21 year-​old gamer, I found it more comforting that many of them were closer to my age.
I was given a rate of a $ 35 diagnostic, which also paid towards the $ 60 hourly rate. With a simple problem, I only had to pay that 60 total.
The main thing I liked was that they were very honest with me. They provided options for other paid services, but acknowledged me as someone who is reasonable capable with computers, always saying «you could probably just _​_​_​_​» rather than trying to pressure me into spending more money. Even after fixing my system in about an hour, they went through an extensive analysis to check how all my parts are doing and to check on my computer’s running heat (a problem I’ve had)
I was able to have a conversation with my tech about upgrading my system for gaming, which was nice.
Very satisfied with my experience. If I have any other problem I will definitely come back and I’d recommend this place to anyone.

I have used the Computer Friend for home and my evolving business. They always have an answer to fix, upgrade or handle all the intricate needs. Nice people who are very patient too.
