Abc Store

Apparently, Virginia has State Stores to sell hard alcohol. Beer and wine are sold privately, but the hard stuff goes through a government retail system.
This shop is small and little effort is made to make the experience pleasant, although the people working there are nice. Just not the place I would chose to buy my booze.
Pennsylvania is no better with its State Store system. It may be profitable for the treasury, but shouldn’t this be in private hands?
