One of the most consistent and solid restaurants in the area. I’ve been going since high school, and I’ve never been disappointed. I could write an extensive review on every item I’ve ever had, but that would be ridiculous. As I’ve previously noted… it is one of the most CONSISTENT and SOLID restaurants in the area. The décor hasn’t changed in forever, but I couldn’t careless. CONSISTENT and SOLID.

Five stars is unusual for me, but everything — and I mean everything — was perfect last night. We walked in and were greeted warmly. The place was busy, but not packed, and had plenty of seating space. From the moment we sat down Michelle took care of everything we needed, and treated us like family,. And the Greek salad and Delux pizza were delicious. Anna’s is a real family-owned and run restaurant that clearly has the right philosophy: focus on the food and provide the best service. We’ll be back, for sure!

Our family stopped here after a day of unloading child number three for college. Perhaps because of that hunger, but I suspect more due to the quality, we had an amazing meal. Anna’s choice pizza was recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. Crust(thin) was perfectly cooked, tasty but not overwhelming. The combination of sauce and cheese rivaled my experience at John’s pizzeria in Times Square(no slices). 2 boys got the Philly cheesesteaks and raved about the subs. French fries were thin, crispy and devoured by the entire table. Service was friendly and attentive. We now have a place to go on family visits to CNU.

Whenever I’m in town, I go to Anna’s on Warwick. Their pizzas, subs, and pasta are outstanding. On this occasion, I had spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce was very good and the meatballs were as big as my head! The party I was with had a cheese steak sandwich and manicotti. Everyone enjoyed the excellent service and delicious food. This neighborhood pizzeria is must when in Newport News.

Have eaten here on a few occasions and usually had the pizza. This Sunday the boys and I had a Veal Piccata and Chicken Cacciatore. Both dishes were well prepared and the pasta was done properly! Overall a great casual experience!

I went with a group of 8, it wasn’t a long wait and the food wasn’t bad. I had the chicken parm. sub. I’m giving 3 stars because the waitress acted like she had something against me specifically. She asked me 3 times if I wanted something to drink & when I replied no all 3 times, she rolled her eyes at me… 3 times! Two other girls had the same sandwich as me & she bought them out extra sauce for their sandwich just to be nice, but she didn’t bring me anything. I was not pleased with her service, if I’m ever in this area again, I will not be dining in and, heck I might not even stop there, the waitress alone made this a not so pleasant experience.

Ordered take out(Pizza + Garlic knots) was actually the best I’ve had around this area. And not to mention they deliver! Must try

Great food, better service. The only negative is that the facility(strip mall) could use updating. Brst lasagna I’ve ever had. Thank you to the kitchen staff and our outstanding server, Michelle.

When we first moved to Hilton, everyone told us this was the place to order pizza from. We tried it a couple times and also tried the calzones. Overall we weren’t really impressed. It was fairly greasy and overpriced. Also delivery was quite slow. We started ordering elsewhere.

SOGLADTHEREISAWESOMENYSTYLEPIZZARIGHTBYOURHOUSE. Hubster is a New Yorker, so while I need only defer to my own discerning taste buds to know whether I like it, I do defer to the hubs still to tell me how authentic a given NY-style pie is. And they me just say, everyone was pleased. This is just some really awesome pizza. I don’t even need to rate it anything else, because finding a good pizza place in a new city is feat enough! But we have done take out(they do deliver, but it seemed silly when we live so close) and eaten in once. I’m pretty into the atmosphere — there’s something hella legit about, really old school, family-run Italian feeling place. They do pizza by the slice, too, and s slice of pizza each and splitting a large salad is a perfect couple’s or coupla friends lunch.

I really really wanted to love this place but I was in for disappointment. I’m not sure how this place qualifies as reasonably priced when our lunch meal was $ 42! Yes, we had an appetizer but $ 10 just for the appetizer and $ 4 for fries seems a bit extreme. I should preface this review by stating that we’ve lived in Italy so we know authentic Italian food. I’ve had bruschetta in many restaurants and have never had the bread served separate from the bruschetta. My husband and I looked at each other quizzically but when he said«what am I supposed to do with that» I almost cracked up. My panini came out more like a sub that a grilled panini should. The bread was fantastic though and it came stacked with meat but it’s not what I think traditional panini should be. Perhaps paninis vary by Italian region? My husband’s gnocchi was delicious though and so were the garlic knots. We don’t live in NN so we probably won’t ever make it back but even if we did would we go back, no? It was costly, the food to me was bland and seeing my sandwich handled by someone wearing hygienic gloves that she used to also clean tables, move chairs around, pick up a newspaper from a table and then answer a phone and take an order all the while using the same gloves made me less hungry and more nauseous.

Delicious authentic Italian food. The owner is a true Italian so you know the food has to be good. Definitely worth the visit.

First, I love the pizza here. However, I made the horrific mistake of ordering«traditional lasagna» on my last venture. I’ll simply state that I’ve never experienced anything like it. I sent the first dish back as it looked as if it had been dropped. The second one came out identical. Their«traditional» lasagna consists of a few noodles vertically surrounding the outside of a dish, a pile of meat and sauce in half of the dish, a noodle down the middle, a pile of cheese in the other half, all covered by two slices of cheese. Frankly it was disgusting and the dish needs a disclaimer that its not like any lasagna you have ever experienced. 5 stars for pizza minus 4 for lasagna…

I love finding a good olé pizza place every where I live and this is it! The smell just wafting outside will draw you in more. I love pizza and there’s is perfect every time. Thin crust and crispy, generous toppings, and service is always great. The appetizers are nice, I’ve had the garlic knots and cheese bread. Also, the Bruschetta with Mozz is to die for! Super fresh and wonderful.

OK, so it’s kind of dingy and in a crappy strip mall in Newport News. But, you know, Anna’s makes some very good pizza. Don’t get too many toppings — pick your favorites and go from there. Thin crust, New York Style, buy it as a pie or by the slice. The sandwiches and pasta… meh. Take ‘em or leave ‘em. The pizza is the way to go. Thank God for Anna’s.

Anna’s Pizza offers delicious Italian food at an affordable price. The pizza is mostly New York style in that the pie is stretched out to a large size. The crust here is really delicious, it’s a combination of being kind of doughy but also kind of crunch at the same time — the holy grail of pizza crust. Anna’s has done a really good job of being a great local pizza choice. The deliciousness of the pizza is consistent at all of Anna’s locations. They also offer subs, salads and pasta. You won’t be let down when you order from Anna’s.

Decent pizza. Ate a takeout pie, large with 3 toppings for $ 20. I paid for garlic, which either they forgot to add or they skimped on. Plenty of mushrooms and pepperoni, which I was satisfied with. For the pizza itself: heavy on the cheese, light on the sauce, with a medium-thick crust. Nothing special, but a good pie.

The pastrami’s are the best. Fresh cut, cooked well, all on a great roll. Nothing else needs to be said, because that is all I’ve ever had, and all you’ll ever need to know.
