Nail’d It

Loved this place! It’s not your usual, hoity toity, stuck up attitude nail salon. This little hole in the wall salon was fantastic. Walking in, it does seem a little run down, but service is amazing. I’ve been in Newport News since May, and I have finally found my go to nail salon. The ladies are super nice and welcoming. Only thing I’d complain about would for them to have their gel shellac colors painted on some nail color wheels instead of having them sitting on the wall. It just took a bit longer to go through each bottle and see what color it actually was.

Went here for the first time on ¹⁰⁄₂₃ to get a fill in, cut down, and reshape of my acrylic coffin nails.
I called the evening prior to ensure they take walk ins and to inquire about what time they opened for business. The woman on the phone was easy to understand and she was super friendly!
I came about 1400 and had a wait of a few minutes. The other worker was out and about but coming back in. One lady started my nails grinding the polish off until the other came back. They were super friendly and spoke to everyone who came in as if they knew them for years.
I really liked the way they cut my nails down. instead of clipping she used a drill to bring them down which was much more comfortable for me. She shaped my nails in the perfect coffin. absolutely perfect that no where I’ve had a fill has gotten.
I opted for no polish/​design because I was running late for a wedding. that is my fault not the fault of the shop. I came in later than I had wanted. I put on nail wraps after I got home.
Overall for a fill in, cut down, shaping, and repair of 2 nails the total was $ 20. I’m really excited to have found a place who makes my nails look good for a great price with friendly service.

Came in on a warm summer day and there was no A/​C. Had an appointment and didn’t get seated until 30 minutes past the appointment time. came with my mom and they took us at separate times after I was assured we would be in the chair at the same time. When I when to pay, they did not accept my student ID bc it was from another state. I will never come back to this place, save your money and go else

Today was my first time getting nail’d and OMG I wish I knew about this place when I first got to this area! Hind and her staff were very nice and did an excellent job on my shellac with designs.
The salon is very stylish, reasonably priced and they have a lot of different polishes to choose from. They also offer waxing, lashes and henna. I definitely will be going back, I loved this place!

I love this new salon!!! Since my move from Los Angeles, CA 1 year ago this has been my best nail salon experience in Newport News! From my pedicure, gel nail manicure, and eyebrows. I was 100% pleased with the very thing. Siham was my nail tech and I love her!
