Very refined and great quality menu and food. Good selection of high quality spirits. It’s very intimate but that also means the enjoy ability of your meal can vary based on the very close tables/guests. Overall, good choice — particularly for special occasions

It’s a truly cozy warm place to forget the day and enjoy company of friends/family. Service was impeccable. Everyone knew the wine menu. Now, the food… This menu brings back flavor!(silly but true) Both in the appetizer and entrée. I tired something new for me– fried oysters. So much good flavor. The garnish is unique, I can’t compare it to any recipe I know. Order them! Then I had to have the bison burger, cooked medium rare, and topped with bacon. And the fries. With some kind of house made ketchup but it’s so cool there’s no way this is related to the ketchup we know. My only regret is not having dessert. That’s for next time!

Came here once, and it was great. It has a nice cozy atmosphere that is quaint yet spotless. Our waiter was very helpful, the bus people were attentive, and the general manager(who was also bartending) made a point of introducing himself to every table during the night and asking if we needed anything. I ordered the«piggie» as an appetizer, which was essentially a pork arepa(vegetable slaw and a mole sauce over pulled pork and a cheese papusa), and it was phenomenal. I then got the lamb burger as a main course. The candied bacon was a bit odd, but it was still very good and cooked perfectly. My one complaint is that it’s a bit expensive, but it has the perfect atmosphere and slightly adventurous menu to be a great date spot so that’s a bit of a plus if you’ve saved a little for something nice and want to show off. I’d come here with my significant other or a good friend to celebrate an occasion, but probably not with a group or with kids under 12ish.

Excellent food and ambiance. Perfect for a date night or special occasion. Definitely recommend making a reservation. We stopped by after an outdoor event and felt quite under dressed. The friendly host offered to seat us anyway, but we opted for patio seating. The food was high quality and a different twist to standard dishes. Bison meatloaf, sea scallops and a deliciously spicy curry crab soup. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. Only downside is that it seems a bit pricey for the area.

This place never disappoints. Every time We eat here, I am always pleasantly surprised about how consistently good the food is and the amazing service. This time we enjoyed apps of an asparagus salad and charcuterie board and both exceeded our expectations. Our main courses were the swordfish and ribeye. The chef even made my 7 year old off the menu grilled cheese that was met with rave reviews. Top notch all the way.

Great service! Beautiful if overseasoned food. Top quality. Short but nice menu. Tables tiny. Please put salt and pepper on the table! I know this is the trend in top restaurants but I find that prententious! Skimpy pour on the lovely wine selection. Cute place and worth a visit!

This was a real treat and if you are on the Peninsula this should be a destination. We had great wine and a well executed Lamb Burger and the special was a Pork Chop that was perfectly prepared and flavorful. The service was Professional and excellent!

Two words buffalo meatloaf. Three more pork belly appetizer. Those are my favorites but, they just simply nail every thing I’ve had there. Very skilled bartenders. Great atmosphere.

This was my second time here. Overall the food was good, but the service was definitely a bit slower tonight than the first time I was there. The restaurant wasn’t full when we first got there, yet our food was slower to come out… even the appetizers. In addition, two things that I don’t get — an «open gratuity» for a table of 5 that was 20% of our bill(it is not explained anywhere on the menu as to what that is either!!), and the fact that they won’t split checks. I do get that restaurants for reserve the right to not split checks, but still when you are going out with a group of friends or co-workers, you usually do not play credit card roulette. Just my recommendations — 1. explain what the gratuity is. I was actually a bit offended that the gratuity was included, and I’m a former waitress. Did we look like we wouldn’t tip well on a $ 250+ check? I read in another review that it is for the chefs?!? If so, then we all stiffed the waiter, as we thought the grat in the check was for him. And 2. be willing to split the checks. It does make it awkward when we have to do it at the table for you… AND this way you are guaranteed to get the correct amount, vice our attempts at math.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner while passing through on a visit. This place did not disappoint. We were comparing the food quality to restaurants that went to during a visit to Paris a few years ago. Excellent service by everyone. All of the small touches from a high end restaurant but the personality of a smaller restaurant. It was fantastic!

Amazing dining experience! Waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent service. The food was amazing. I got the Bison meatloaf and it was packed with so much flavor and cooked to perfection! I cannot wait to dine here again!

I have been wanting to try this place for so long! My husband and I finally had the chance to go here on a rare date night. They didn’t have anything really vegetarian on the menu so we asked if they had anything. They said they could make something. It did not disappoint! I highly suggest doing it that way!

If clouds were made of honey, they’d taste like Circa’s honey gelato. That’s how I finished off dinner while my wife enjoyed her milk chocolate crème brûlée. Two hours earlier we were seated at the bar, me with a Sophisticated Sow and my wife with a Belgian red ale that tasted more like a sour. Our bartender, Kip, gave us the rundown on the regular and prix fixe menus. The restaurant was playing one of Kip’s playlist, the highlight of which was Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunneymen. I’m sure he and I were the only two that knew the song. We started with the cheese plate and the grits with prawns, chorizo, and Brie. That and the bottle of Vouvray would have been enough, but we were on a roll. I had the lamb burger and fries. My wife had the corn and rice penne with shrimp and scallops. Our server recommended replacing the mussels with extra shrimp and my wife took him up on it. I’m not much a burger guy, but the lamb was better than hamburger. The pasta, however was absolutely delicious! Our only real complaint was that the restaurant is a bit cramped and the music, although a great flashback to the 80s, was so loud that it was hard to hear our server. Can’t wait to go back!

Although I’ve only been here for drinks, I did like the vintage feel for this place. My friend and I walked in for a few adult beverages, the feel in there was classy. The bartender recognized my friend right away and asked him about his family. That’s what business is all about. The lighting and atmosphere was just right, I will have to go back for the food next time. The drinks were made perfectly, from what I remember. ;)

My friend and I picked this spot after hearing so many great things about it. Very small and intimate, so making a reservation allowed us to be seated right away. Outstanding seafood pasta dish and amazing pineapple cheesecake topped with a raspberry sauce! Our waiter, Kip, rocked! Can’t wait to return to Circa 1819 for there wine night!

Such an amazing place! Kip, Alan, and Chad are amazing– definitely know their stuff. I’ve been in for drinks and not dinner, but tonight we had an amazing dinner. We got the entire place for a private party. They seat about 30, so plan on making a reservation, as its small and intimate– our favorite. Cocktails are great! They definitely know their drinks! I’m also gluten-free and they did an awesome job of accommodating. We will definitely be back.

This place was awesome! I wish I could eat there everyday of the week. They have some amazing food and the service is always great. Their selection of beer and wine is pretty good; and have some pretty good house cocktails. Next time I’m in town I will be coming to fat boy it up.

This place was awesome! Sat at the bar and talked to a few locals who recommended the Buffalo Meatloaf and they were spot on! The meatloaf was very tasteful and moist! They had a good selection of beers and wine. I didn’t try any of their house cocktails but they looked good. The only think that drag them down for me to 4 starts instead of 5 was the service, it took a while to get our order taken, our appetizer came after our main course. I think they were shorthanded but it was a Wednesday night, I wouldn’t say that would be a busy night. Next time I am in town, I am going to stop off again.

This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants Here is why: They take reservations. It’s a small place and always busy. The service is great. Sometimes stretched then but helpful. The drinks are creative and delicious. Wine night Tuesday allows you to explore the menu. The deserts are amazing. The menu changes The food is delicious. It’s fresh. And made to order. It’s quality. No Sysco trucks here please. Food is a art here. And I love that And that’s why I come back. Again. And again.
