Worst parking ever. I had to park on the second level and it took me 45 minutes to get out. No traffic direction assistance from the CNU staff or NNPD. Sucked a lot!!! I would really think hard about coming back here again just based on the parking alone.

I truly enjoy coming to this theatre for performances. They are very well-kept and clean. The ushers are always pleasant to be around with. The performances are superb. The selection/variety of shows they house is very diverse and flavorful. I look forward to attending my next event here.

Absolutely the worst business I have dealt with. I purchased 15 tickets for my daughter’s recital that I paid over $ 600 for. When we gave them to the usher, we were told these seats don’t exist anymore. My mother stood in line for 4 hours the day these tickets went on sale to get front row. We bought rows BBANDCC. There were a few more families that bought tickets that didn’t exist also. While they were trying to find seats for us to sit in, the usher pushed my brother out of the way for other people to get by. By no means is it EVER necessary for anyone to put hands on someone. They split my family up and put us in seats they could find for us. My daughter who is 4 years old knew that we were going to be in the 2nd row, came on stage and was looking for us. During intermission, a woman approached me and assured me that on Monday morning this would be taken care of. I went to get my daughter and she was hysterically crying because she didn’t think we were in the audience. That infuriated me. The manager named Erica called and left a message saying that they would refund some, but not all of the tickets because some seats were available. Their ushers told us NONE of our tickets were available. Now I’m even more upset because we would of been able to sit in some of our seats if the ushers hadn’t told us WRONGINFORMATION. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with this company, and I will never again. Erica told me her boss’s were out of town and she would be giving me a call Monday morning, and it’s now Tuesday.

Recently, I’ve been attending this venue for the On Screen/In Person series. The seating in the smaller theatre isn’t the most comfortable, but is worth putting up with for the quality of the events hosted here.

Today I received the worst customer service at the Ferguson Center ticket office! She was rude, snippy and either not knowledgeable enough to offer the best tickets available or she just didn’t want to bother, in fact, I had to go to their site and search for seats myself because she was MISINFORMING me. Not once was I offered a smile and when my transaction was completed she flipped my card back through the window. My family or my husband normally takes care of the tickets so I hope this unpleasant customer service I experienced with Nichole is an abnormality.

First, I am handicapped and that makes getting into a lot of concerts almost impossible. But not here. The sound system is fantastic. Have seen about 6 or 7 concerts here and all have been wonderful. This month I have seen Smokey Robinson and Boz Scaggs and had a great time. Have a wide range of shows from ballet, Broadway shows such as Dream Girls and The Chorus Line to popular artists such as Smokey Robinson, Sinbad and Boz Scaggs. Have also had The Price is Right which was a blast. One of my favorites was ELVISLIVES which is touring the country. All the employees are so nice and just want to make your visit wonderful. If you sign up for the e-club you can get emails regarding discount tickets. Have gotten many at buy one get one and others at 20 to 30% off. My favorite place to go to have a good time.

I can’t recall how many times I have been here, but I can tell you one thing, ITISAMAZING! In my younger days, I played music in a number of venues and came to know what good and bad acoustics are. Additionally, I have heard the same professional artists play in multiple venues, and nothing seems to come even close to the quality or convenience of the Ferguson Center for the Arts. The sound quality makes you feel like you are hearing the artist perform in an intimate setting, but it offers seating for around 1,750 folks. There is an elegant glass motif to the foyer and staircase that leads you to the upper level that make you feel a little regal when exploring. The box office is located inside, which is a welcome change since no one wants to wait in the cold when buying tickets. Additionally, all of the ushers and staff are friendly and helpful. The adjacent parking garage is only a stone’s throw away, and usually has enough spaces for everyone inside. There is usually an array of police when exiting to help you leave without getting tied up too long. I have seen small jazz ensembles, plays, operas, one man shows, and orchestras play here and I was thrilled every time to have experienced them at this location. I highly recommend an opportunity to visit.

Here tonight to listen to the TRADOC Army Band perform their Holiday Concert. Aside from a few of the box seats(there was some confusion about seating people there. At first the ushers were told they were reserved, and therefore did not send people to them. Late in the process they decided that these seats were, in fact, open to everyone). The center was packed tonight for this performance. The TRADOC Band is a well oiled music machine, Very tight, well playing unit, with seamless changes into and out of pieces. A real delight to both hear, and watch perform. The acoustics at the Ferguson are excellent. We sat in the back of the theater and there was little or no echo or distortion. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Parking is about the only issue that one could point out here. With the Center being on a school campus, parking is, most times, at a premium. But, if you time your arrival(that’s come early so you can find a spot to park for you city slickers) you will not have any problems. Well worth the effort to watch a performance here. Highly recommended. @Removeyourhat
