The store was clean and had tons of stuff. They just didn’t have any shovels after the blizzard.

Best Customer Service! The management and leadership in this store must be outstanding and it reflects in the can-do/positive attitudes of their employees. Have a question, they’re going to answer it. Need an item, they’ll find it. No waiting around for a representative. ALWAYS met with a smile and a positive attitude. I can’t say enough about how excellent my experiences have been at this Lowes.

I was around Jefferson Ave. last week and had my options to go to Lowes or Home Depot. I have always preferred Lowes. I stopped in to get some flat bar and round bar and was extremely disappointed in the selection they had. They were 95% out of stock of all of there metal. Someone is not reordering the products. So needless to say I drove 1⁄8 mile to Home Depot where they had almost zero empty bins and exactly what I needed. Sorry lowes, looks like its Home Depot from now on.

Lowes flooring, engineered hardwood. What can I say Lowes is head and shoulders over their competitor Home Depot. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I purchased flooring the installers were awesome and on time. I will be purchasing kitchen countertops and new carpeting for my bedrooms. After, discounts and other ideas from them after estimates, they saved me $ 800.00 +.

I have a passion, gardening, this place gives us a military discount and most of all has a good selection of perennials, annuals, bushes along with other household goods such as grills, appliances. The staff is really nice and seem to appear out of no where when I need assistance.

The only location I visit. they have a good selection and people are willing to help. Management is always around as well to over see what is going on. I haven’t gone in without seeing at least one or two walking around. I’m not a big fan of self checkout but they normally have plenty of people working the registers so it is quite smooth.

I’m not a DIY type of person but every now and then I’ll find myself tinkering away and trying to fix stuff or buy some home gardening supplies. I’m not partial to Lowe’s or Home Depot but I do find that Lowe’s service seems to be a little better, at least at this particular location. This Lowe’s is convienant near all the major shopping chains in NN, even Home Depot however both stores always seem to be full on the weekends. I go here like I said everynow and then but during the Summer/Spring time their garden selection is on point offering a great deal of plants and shurbs for a personal projects. The inside of this store is easy to locate maerchandise and I enjoy using their paint match center, these people are excellent and matching paints. There is a little greasy hotdog food truck outside which seems to attract lots of people– like my parents! Overall, it’s a good location and offers lots of services like any typical home improvement store. My only complaint would be that their parking exit near Bland Blvd. and their garden center can get awfully hectic sometimes since lots of people use this area to exit and park to load up merchandise.

The saving grace for this Lowes is twofold. First, Dominic’s of New York is blowing their greasy exhaust vents right into the cavernous store making it smell like a Philly cheesesteak house. The aroma is intoxicating. Second, the garden shop outside is awash in Spring flowers this time of years. I was able to retreat from the über retailing of home improvements and catch my breath among the Easter Lilies and Orchids, then head back into the fray. Redemption in even small things.

This isn’t your father’s Hardware store. The place of old wooden floors, and bins full of nails and fasteners. Of musty smells of things there waiting for some future emergency. Of I will have to order that, and it will be in early next week. No. This is the place of endless steel racks filled from floor to ceiling, over flowing. And bustling help dashing from place to place, with customers in tow. And, if we don’t have it here, it’s available to be shipped off of our website. I always hate going here. Or to Home Depot/Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club or any other of the big box stores. Too much square footage with too few service folks to cover an area. Like clock work, I always end up voicing the same complaint«You have too much stuff» to the help I sometimes stumble upon, and them wrangle into helping me decipher the endless aisles of too many things. The places remind me that this is not my father’s store. Nor is it the ones from my childhood. Those days when you walked into a pharmacy, they had support items, but in general, you bought medicines, remedies and first aid stuff there. Now, you walk thru the grocery aisle, the clothing aisle, the toy aisle, and the clearance aisle before you can even get a glance at a pharmacist. Today’s trip was for 2 items. I knew that finding what I was looking for was going to; it is almost a given, be walked past, several times, before I identically found the right place. Baring, of course, if I could not round up one of those bustling service folks first. I walked around, aimlessly, in canyons of steel racks with no success. Time to get serious. I walked out in the middle of the main drag, and put on my best impression of Puss, from Puss in Boots. Hat in hand, eyes wide and watered up, looking as much like a poor lost soul as I could(I know. You are envisioning the doe eyed kitten look. That’s what I was shooting for). I am a grown man. And I stood in the middle one of several places that in Man-Ville are considered to be hebbin on earth. And, I was lost. Sure enough. A gal walked by, caught the lost kitten look in my eyes, and asked, looking for something? Why, yes, I am. She walks me back to the canyons I had walked past, multiple times, and points me out to the right stuff. I gather my goods in, walk out to the cashiers, and take my new treasures home. In my father’s world, I would have gotten everything I picked up today. I would have waited in line at the cash register. I would have looked around at the new lawn mowers, that were left over ones that did not sell from last year or the year before that. The clerk would have known me by name. I would have paid a lot more for what I left with. In this world of Lowe’s and Home Depot, I walk a quarter mile, back and forth, usually past what I came for, numerous times. No one knows me by name. Today. I got what I was looking for. I had good service, and I paid a fair price for the items I got. But, it was a unsatisfying experience. I miss Lee White Hardware. I miss Goodman Hardware. I go to Patrick’s Hardware when ever I can. On other days, I put on a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and head for the canyons that are the life and soul of Lowe’s. Too much stuff. @Removeyourhat

Placed an order online, went to customer service to pick up, found out my order was never pulled(they guaranteed that parts will be pulled and ready within 20 mins; i arrived at the store 22 mins after placing the order). Then they couldnt find my order, an order I’ve paid for(thank goodness for receipts and email confirmations). Once they got the order straight, customer service had me pull in front of the Lawn & Garden for pick up. Chad, the loader, was very helpful and tried to work with me. Unfortunately, he could not find my order and had to re-direct me to the Lumber/Bldg Materials entrance. By now, I have spent 1 hr and 14 minutes waiting to get my order picked up. By this time, I am also running out of time to pick up my child from daycare and I am fighting a severe migraine. By the time, I made it to the lumber entrance, I walked into the store and went straight to the Commercial Help Desk. I was in tears, frustrated and tired. I just wanted my order(qty 15 of the same thing). In distress, Rich(who worked the Commercial Front Desk) came from behind the counter and assisted me. He got my copy of the confirmation and went to the back and pulled the parts himself. He came back, no joke in less than 10 minutes. I was in and out that door in 20 mins. He apologized on behalf of the company and coworkers for screwing up my order and making me wait almost 2 hours in store for pick up. :( Rich and another fellow, assisted with loading the 15 items. I arrived at my daughter’s daycare with just minutes to spare before late charges hit. Thanks to Chad, loader from Lawn & Garden and Rich from Commercial Front Desk, I was able to get in time. Sad that for a small order, I wasted so much time and no one knew where and what was ordered. :(Really? Isnt that why they keep inventory and everything online/electronically? My order should have been pulled. In the end, it was a he said he did this, but he did not and go here then go there and just a big mess. Thanks, Chad & Rich for saving me from losing my sanity and from passing out of a migraine/frustration.

Finally we were able to find what we needed to manufacture stuff for a wedding bamboo and foam glue and tape. Also people here knew where stuff was and what they had.
