Best Western Newport Inn

We were on our way back from SC last night and needed a place to stop. We’re traveling with our little Dachshund so I was concerned we wouldn’t be able to find a nice clean place that would allow him to stay. I was more than pleasantly surprised with this place. Rooms were very nice and clean. Recently renovated. Staff was very nice and if I’m in the area again and need a room I will definitely return there! Highly recommended!

Carpets very old and dirty. Room had a very unpleasant odor. Will not stay here again. I checked out and I’m going across the street to Holiday Inn Express.

It’s a motel. I wasn’t expecting that. Guess I missed it somewhere. Busy, busy, busy right off highway. Rooms were ok… I probably won’t stay here again. There is a Holiday Inn Express across the street that looks more my style.

Beautiful room! Wish we could have stayed longer. Bar was fun and breakfast was just fine… will prob stay here again when we go to visit the Smokies… this motel is updated to the max!

V very nice room and have a lot of space… I was able to get my check in very fast the room was very spacious the TV is big and I also like the lambs that you can plug in your charger they have a lot of outlets

Clean. Friendly. Very nice place to stay! We will definitely stay here again! Our room was totally remodeled & perfectly clean & nice. Huge easy accessible parking lots for trucks or trailers.

It’s nice enough to make my wife happy!!! Can’t beat the bang for the buck. All the rooms appear to be recently updated (aug ’14) which was a shock to see from the outside.

This dog-​friendly establishment is bested only by its people-​friendly staff. All of the rooms have recently been redone and are quite beautiful. Best Western has done a superb job of making me a loyal customer.

This hotel was awesome! The room was gorgeous! The bed was very, very, very comfortable. AND… I’m picky. We were traveling across the country and on a very tight budget, so all along the way I used Unilocal to help me find places to stay. The reviews for The Best Western Newport Inn were good so I called to get a room. When she told me $ 59 I was happily surprised, but also wondering what not so happy surprises we’d find once we got there. When we arrived to check in, the girl at the desk was very nice, however not very knowledgeable or informative with the few parking questions we had concerning our large moving truck and vehicle in tow. But that’s minor. Our room was so amazing that I actually double checked the bill to be certain I was not mistaken and had mis-​heard the rate of $ 59 and was actually going to be charged $ 159. Seriously! I’ve been to a lot of hotels that I paid more than that and were not half this nice. I’m definitely giving this a 5 star review!

Very nice motel. A great value. The rooms are updated, staff is friendly, and hot breakfast is included. The rooms include a microwave and mini fridge and the check out time is noon. Comfortable.

What a jewel I came across on I40 headed to Charleston. It’s a older hotel but don’t let that influence your decision on staying here. The front desk clerk told me that they remodel the rooms last year and gutted the rooms. All new electric lots of outlets flat screen TV’s very tastefully done decorations. I stay in a lot of interior room Holiday Inns this Best Western can hold its on with any of them. Great breakfasts included plus a great pizza place onsite so I had breakfast and lunch before I hit the road again

Best Western Newport Inn has become one of my favorite places to stay when I have to layover in East Tennessee. The rooms have been recently renovated and gives the whole place a «New» feel. It’s clean, has plenty of parking, and there are good restaurants within walking distance. Easy on and off access to I-​40.

Nice hotel to stay in. Clean and spacious rooms.
Free hot breakfast is lacking… especially being served on paper plates with plastic utensils.
For $ 57 a night, I’d stay here again
