This was our first stop here but won’t be our last. This is one of the nicest HIE we’ve stayed in. The front desk staff was very friendly, and the facilities were top notch. We had a king room that was very clean and spacious with a personal note left by the housekeeping staff. A very nice touch for a Holiday Inn. This location also had a great «sweet shop» where you could get some necessities as well as candy, snacks and soda. And a good selection was available for what I felt like were reasonable prices. We will definitely stay here again on our travels between Ohio and South Carolina.

I love the Holiday Inn Express brand. They have very comfortable beds and the rooms are always very clean. We stayed here one night on the way to Myrtle Beach and it was in a great location. It’s right off the highway with a few restaurants/​fast food nearby. The pool is small but was great for us with an 8.5 month old. The continental breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had. Everything was warm and fresh. There was also a great variety to choose from. You have eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, cereal, pancakes, toast, muffins, bagels, different juices, water, and coffee. If I am ever in the area I will definitely be staying again.

Very nice holiday inn. Clean, comfy beds and pillows, and great staff. It’s about 30 minutes to Gatlinburg so nice escape from crowds. It’s pricier than the other local hotels but worth the extra money. Breakfast comes with the room so that helps. Wish they had a few more healthy options for breakfast. Kids liked the pancake maker.

Best hotel on I-​40 in my opinion. We were greeted very well. Very friendly, extremely accommodating and so courteous. The rooms were pristine and the staff even searched the whole hotel to find extra blankets for our kids. I will stay there every time we stop in Newport.
