One of the coolest slides in a park that I’ve come across. My kids loved it! There was alot of new playsets for my son to play with that he hasn’t seen in the past. Great park! No swings that I can remember seeing.

Huge slide. 3 of my kids just had to stop(13, 18 and 20 years old :)!! Plenty of parking. Went there on a weekend and it wasn’t very busy. Good find for families with younger kids who are staying in the Nye Beach area.

I’ve taken my nephews to this park several times and each time we spend hours here. There are two playgrounds — one for little kids and one for bigger kids — with innovative climbing, rope and spinning features that keep them busy just trying to figure out how and then to actually do it. I’ve often found them getting instructions from an older girl who’s mastered it. There’s a bridge over a wetland garden and the landscaping in general is native and very nicely done. I’ve chased those boys all over the playground and there are plenty of places to hide or little ways to lose the one chasing you. There are benches and picnic tables which the adults usually sit at and strike up conversations with new friends. But the best feature of the playground is the large tube slide which starts at the top of hill in a pirate’s ship. It twists and turns down and shoots you out the other end at which point the boys usually run laughing back up the hill for more. There are things to climb around on at the top as well, which offers a great view of Nye Beach. Located a block from the beach, walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants in historic district of Nye Beach, this is a great place to spend a few hours with kids.
