Standard McDonalds, it was clean. It had a super friendly upbeat staff even though they were swamped with customers. Definitely worth stopping by if you need some junk food, and a clean rest room.

Food ok. Was disappointed they didn’t have honey sauce for my chicken nuggets. Got sweet & sout and my husband agreed it tasted different than usual. They had to have changed the ingredients. Not this particular restaurant’s fault. Bathrooms clean.

The main reason I like this McDonalds is I like most the people that work here. other then that its a run of the mill McDonalds. They are fast.

Every so often there comes a time when McDonald’s is just a useful stop along the road that is life. The more I think about it, the more I think this was not one of those times. It is not that the timing was bad — because whenever we are on I-40, there is invariably a need to stop, and this was no exception. Between the construction in the area and the wrecks cause by the construction backups(and the wrecks from people looking at the backups, which themselves caused more wrecks), it was just time for a break. Unfortunately, there are not many places to stop that have easy access to the freeway. You would think a «fast food»(keep that in mind, it is important) place located right at the freeway off ramp would be able to handle the concept. Not so. The line was almost as long as the backup, and they seemed to have no idea of moving quickly to get things going. Might as well have gone to Applebee’s. And I do not know if there is an Applebee’s in the area — just saying that it was about as slow, and way more frustrating, since you expect much faster service. While I get the idea behind serving food to order, if it is so slow, is it really such a bad idea to have food sitting and waiting to be served as it used to be? It was so much faster…
