The Wisdom Tree

This business has newly opened in downtown Newport, and it is a must-​see for artsy-​fartsy people. It appears to be run by a family, and it seems to me like their young daughter is the big artist who contributes quite a bit to their merchandise (I believe local artists have stuff in there as well). They have a lot of different types of items available from photography to jewelry, shoes, hammocks, incense holders, and other accessories, and they also have musicians and other cool events going on at their store from time to time. Their daughter makes these fantastic leather sandals that are apparently very popular in Chicago. I did not purchase them on this go around but I will certainly be back soon for those. I would highly suggest stopping by. They try to accommodate working folks so they maintain later hours to meet everyone’s needs. Prices are VERY reasonable. Stop by! Support local business!
