generally good experience with staff here, until now. in explaining some store policy to me, the manager was so pompous and condescending, it took my breath away. quite hostile. you have a right to your policies, but it is just foolish to alienate a customer with such rudeness. i certainly have other places to spend my money, where people speak pleasantly to me.

I have been a customer of the vitamin shoppe in the past and have always been happy with the selection. However, I just experienced an event at the store in Needham that will forever deter me from being a customer there. I was running into the new Homegoods that just came up in the same parking lot as the vitamin shop and parked in front of the store. As I am walking away, an older man comes running out of the store yelling that we are not allowed to park there and it is for Vitamin Shoppe customers only. Curious thing was, there was no actual sign or markings explaining this with any sort of legitimacy. There was a plastic caution sign(like a wet floor sign) with a piece of paper taped to it that said«This is parking for Vitamin Shoppe customer only.» I was not aware that you, as a business, could decide to make your own road signs. The man insisted that it was a legitimate sign and that I must move or he would call a tow truck. I backed out of that space and parked DIRECTLYBEHIND it in one of the other ample parking spaces. Excuse you sir for being so rude, you have just lost a customer WITHOUT me even walking in the store.

Largish Vitamin Shoppe(1000+sqft). Very big selection of Vitamins and«Sports nutrition» products, as well as a decent beauty products(including oral care/toothpaste) section. Good selection of natural remedies, herbs and superfoods as well. Vitamin Shoppe tends to private label many of the popular brands of supplements, so you can find exact equivalents for much less. However unlike GNC/Vitamin World the store is not mostly private label stuff nor mostly focused on «Sports nutrition». That’s a good thing, since the incredible margins on sports nutrition products tend to crowd out everything else.
