Only complaint — prices! They are high!
When you can get something on a good deal, it’s good. If not, forget it… Usually everything is more expensive then a Walmart, Michaels, OfficeMax, etc.
The staff are wonderful though! They are so helpful and courteous of each customer.

I found this store to be helpful only if you are an elementary teacher. As a high school teacher it was almost a waste of time. I don’t call it a complete waste of time because I was inspired by the products they do hold to create my own. Needless to say I did not purchase much more than poster items, which later I found Staples had a much better price. One thing I will say was that the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of their products.

If you’re a teacher, you likely already know about this place and have been here numerous times. I really like this place, even though I have no children and teach college students. I tend to shop here for educational items for relatives and friends’ children.
The staff is very friendly and patient, even when you have no idea what you are looking for. The store is well lit and well organized, so you know relatively quickly whether the item is available. The have undoubtedly the best selection of educational materials for all ages of any store around.
That said, they are rather pricey and it is easy to blow through whatever budget you may have had walking in. I would suggest shopping here last, as many things can be found at Target, Amazon, and other outlets. If there is something in particular, especially harder to find educational aids, then this is your place. Just prepare to spend accordingly.

great selection (like most educational suppliers, they are pricey). the staff always seems eager to help. they have a teacher discount program but the discounts are often minimal. try to get your school to reimburse you before shopping here. If you are a parent, you can find a huge variety of educational supplies for your child. to lakeshore’s credit, i do find some great items on sale occasionally. this place is worth a look just know the total adds up fast.
