If you can’t find a decent frame in a retail shop, or if you have an odd sized/shape photo or piece that you need to have framed, then you should check out Abraxis. Eric(the owner) is really good at listening to your needs and giving you a really beautiful frame that matches with the style of your piece. He does frames, matts, shadow boxes, and so much more. His attention to detail and the finishing of the products is immaculate. If you want quality, good looking work, done right, that will last then go see Eric at Abraxis!

I had an autographed sports jersey framed at Abraxis. I was very impressed with the craft of stitching and shadow box framing. They have very reasonable prices and I recommend this business to anyone looking for framing. Since then I have brought them dry mounting, canvas to stretch, reg framing and specialty mat cutting.

I am so glad I found Abraxis and Eric. He is fantastic, and the prices are quite reasonable. We had some textiles that we had brought back from a trip overseas, and Eric worked with us to find the right way to display them. Overall, we are big fans and will bring our framing to Abraxis from now on.

I am a Fine Art & Commercial Photographer and travel all the way from the North Shore to Newton to get my work framed at Abraxis. The owner Eric is an artist himself and this shows in his design and craftsmanship. And as a bonus, prices are very reasonable. I have referred many other clients here and all have been extremely happy with service and final framing products. I would never go elsewhere.

I recently had a large print framed. It was cheaper than I expected, and it looked really good, too. Next time I have a print, I’ll return.

I am a huge fan of local businesses, which is what sent me to this Auburndale frame shop today. The shop is located in Auburndale just off of Comm. Ave. The pluses: great customer service as the owner does the work himself and is very knowledgeable. He priced out multiple frames and features(conservation glass versus standard) for me. I thought his advice was great. The shop has a homey feel, and the customer before me — who appeared to be fairly particular– was praising the prior framing he had done. The minuses: this is a sole proprietor shop, and if several people turn up at once, be prepared to wait. I had a book, so it wasn’t an issue. I liked the feel of the shop, and am expecting to like my framing. I believe the shop offers a discount to WGBH members, which I forgot about when I put my 50% down. Maybe when I pick things up…
