I will say the service was good, but the food poor at best. I had the filet, cooked rare with green beans. The steak had all the cross hatch markings on it, but was stone cold. So either the steak was precooked from a factory or the cross hatch markings painted on. Even the green beens were cold. Our table ordered 2 filets, 3 chicken fried steaks and 2 pasta dishes. All were cold. Surprisingly we ordered, got our drinks, got our salalds and got our food all in about 8 minutes. Our salads were just set down when our food came out. So all their food must be precooked. First and last time to go to this restaurant. My bill was 31.00.

I wish I’d heeded some of the other warnings before venturing on in.
The service was great. (It was slow) I’d like to think that this would not change if they were busy.
I ordered the 18 oz t-​bone steak with steamed veggies and mac n cheese.
The steak was not turned properly giving the steak enough cook time nor traditional grill marks. (Cross hatches instead of stripes)
The steak was –very– rare. A common and very poor practice in cheap steakhouses.
This way, a steak is never thrown away. It can be thrown back on the grill and then regurgitated to the customer. Bite marks and all.
If your a broiler cook in a steakhouse, your job is to hit the proper temp on a steak time and time and time again. Not undercook food so you can correct complaints.
When my steak was regurgitated to me on a fresh plate (fresh plate — old steak) it was crusty on one side from excessive heat and slightly chewy.
Not a good quality steak at all.
My steamed veggies were steamed to mush and their correction was only a little better. Part of the problem is that they have 3 vegetables with 3 different cooking times. Carrots, broccoli and thinly cut zucchini.
By the time that the carrots are done the zucchini and broccoli are mush. This is nothing more than bad design.
Any way. I was disappointed. With the food I mean. The staff was very kind.
For a $ 20 steak, I’m expecting a decent quality steak cooked to the right temp. The first time. And I will bet dollars to donuts that I came back tomorrow it would be the exact same undercooked mediocre steak.
I can’t recommend this place.
