Prairie Harvest

I really like this place. They have daily lunch specials, (their soups are generally the best choice.) They also stock local fresh fruits and veggies (the selection is smaller than i would like, and also a bit overpriced though, so use care when choosing what to buy) But by far my favorite part of the store is tucked away in the back. They have a small area in the rear of the store, with lines of jars filled with spices, and you can get as little or as much as you like in small Ziploc baggies. This may not seem like a big deal to the average shopper, but for me (I COOK and yes, i capitalized that for a reason — i am obsessed) It really is an amazing treat. I did only give 4 stars here though, because as mentioned before, the prices are a bit too high, and the selection rather Small.

This is a great place to get hard-​to-​find foods and spices, not to mention coffee, snacks, fudge, and kitchen products. Very eclectic selection. It’s fun just to browse and see all the cool stuff they have.
I’m not sure why the previous reviewer gave these shops only 2 stars, when they text of their post is appropriately positive. They must have accidentally clicked the wrong star. I think it’s terrific!
