The Leaf Tea Lounge

My brother gave me a gift certificate for The Leaf Tea Lounge for Christmas. I never heard of it, but I was very excited to visit. The owner, Pandea Smith is so kind and very helpful. I am now hooked to this place!
They offer loose leaf teas, tea products/​gadgets, tea bags, bubble tea, paninis, and every week they have a special item of food offered. For example, this last week, Pandea made a bacon, tomato and spinach quiche that was to die for.
Price for food and paninis is usually around $ 6 and it never disappoints. Bubble tea is $ 3.50 and they give you a good amount for your money. My favorite flavors are cantaloupe, honey dew, coffee, and watermelon. They offer flavors ranging from strawberry and vanilla to avocado and taro. You can also try their loose leaf teas for about $ 2 I believe — iced or hot.
It’s a small little place — in the back part of a bookstore and soon-​to-​be new store, but it is wonderful and a great addition to a small town like Newton. I have nothing but good words about the Leaf Tea Lounge.
