Everything about this place is average, nothing is special. The coffee and food is just serviceable, even the free WIFI is a PITA to connect to. Their saving grace is the ability to pull out the laptop and get some work done without much interference, but you should avoid the lunch crowd if that’s your goal as it’s very noisy and too crowded to reliably get a good seat.

Had a sandwich from here for the first time and loved it! I had the Turkey and Brie and it was so yummy and fresh. My fiancé had the steak Gorgonzola sandwich and love it as well. I will definitely being ordering from here again!

Close to work so it’s convenient… That’s pretty much the best thing I can say. I always wait forever, the staff is always dull & microwaved eggs! Ick. I really think most meals involve the microwave. I don’t understand why nobody who works there is capable of smiling or small talk. I wish there was something else closer.

Jeez Louise, what is going on?!! There was one person in front of me, it takes ten minutes to order, then as one cashier is slowly taking the order, my order is sitting on the counter, the cashier finishes that order, takes another order, turns around and pours coffee for one guest, then just when I think I will finally get my order. He pours an ice tea for another customer… Still waiting. The bread boy is chitty chatting with the manager who could have easily put my order in a bag, or the other girl who wasn’t doing anything. 20 minutes later for the guy to remember I’m standing there when I say, Sir? Then he gives me my order. I love the food here when you finally get it, but the service is slow as molasses!

Good food, standard Cosi fare. Service is slow, never enough cashiers. Staff seems unhappy about their jobs.

I love cosi, I come here a lot. But the two older women who do the cash register, I think one is a manager actually. They make me not want to go back. I hate doing negative reviews. But I can’t understand the one and I literally said«ya know I heard happiness helps profit especially in the restaurant business» to the one women. She just looked at me… Yikes. Her poor employees. But hey, there’s always panera bread!

After I paid for ancient grains oatmeal and was asked go wait by a lackluster cashier, she was told by the cook that they haven’t had that good for about a week. So ok she couldn’t figure out how to give me back 35 cents. They substituted in a large steel cut oatmeal that was dirty dishwater. Ugh. Gross. Never again.

After a 30 mile ride on my bike, the heat over 100 degrees and still an hour of riding ahead of me, I was craving an iced coffee to cool me down. I arrived at this location with the«OPEN» sign a glow. I was thrilled by the thought that I could go into the building with the A/c and get a cold refreshing drink. I jumped off the saddle of my bike and was confronted with a locked door. I checked my phone to see the time and it was 2:54, they close at 3:00. My fault for getting there too late in the day? I guess… I still would expect a business that advertises their hours of operation to hold up to that. Very disappointed. I will never visit a Cosi moving forward.

Come here ALLTHETIME with my husband, and we love the food! Breakfast and lunch are terrific. The issue is the staff… none of them seem to want to be there, and they can be painfully slow.

Service is super slow. I ordered a bagel. It took them 15 minutes. I don’t understand what can possibly take that long. When they finally gave it to me, it was already cold(no surprise) and soggy.

If you are looking for quick in and out, Do not go for breakfast. On multiple occasions I have tried to get a single toasted bagel and the average ticket time is 10 minutes! It is next to my work but not worth the time.

Food was reasonably good but the cashier is in the wrong job. She was unfriendly and snarky. Note to the business owner, this girl is going to lose you business.

Delicious New England clam chowder and bread today along with earl gray tea. I haven’t been to Cosi in ages & I forgot how fresh and delicious the food is. I especially like that the food is brought to your table, so you don’t have to juggle a tray. My friend had the tomato basil soup and a turkey light sandwich declaring everything really good. I’ll come back soon for one of their great looking salads.

I’m a regular here and I enjoy eating everything from their flatbreads to their salads. The chicken flatbread is my favorite. The newer rice bowls are interesting. The spicy chicken rice bowl will put your mouth on fire in a good sort of way. My favorite salad is the salmon salad. Always fresh. Tip — lunch can get very busy, so call your order and pick it up.

I am a regular here, and there is no other way to start this review but by saying if I could eat lunch and dinner here everyday I would. I have never eaten breakfast here(for no reason in particular), but I really should. They have a Panera Bread type feel, but it is challenged with better food, and better service. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, even during busy lunch hours. They even know myself, my husband, and our son by name. I’ve lived near Newtown my entire life and my only regret that is I didn’t know of this place sooner.

I am still a breakfast regular, and an occasional lunch person here. My Oatmeal, Squagel and Coffee still offer a good price for a good meal. In fact, the cost seems to have gone down recently due to some combo they put into effect. It is a convenient stop on my way to the office. They recently moved the coffee out from behind the service counter and it is now pour your own. This makes for a small jam, but it is manageable. Every ten breakfasts/coffees gets a freebee if you have their card. Good deal.

Good food, decent service. Most of the people are nice and helpful, only one lady is always a sourpuss. I like their new additions to the menu for dinner. My favorite is the signature salad. The bread is awesome too

I was hoping the recent takeover by Cosi corporate would rectify the poor service at this location… unfortunately it’s just as bad as before. One of the«hosts»(order taker), Elizabeth, that was retained after the management change is still the worst of the worst… how she still has a job there is an indictment on the management. The best part about this Cosi is the location. The lack of competition on this side of town is the main reason it survives. The food is generally fair to good, but consistency is lacking. Try Joe G’s down the road or Corner Bakery Café on the other side of town.

Very expensive. I prefer Panera Bread but it was good for what you got. Kinda miffed that I didn’t get my carrots and when I asked about it, they said that they ran out… But then the next people to get their order got carrots? The waitress walked right by me with the carrots on the plate. What was that about? Definitely not going back.
