We found this place online it was nearby, and website says how long the hayride is so we were sold. We went, a very long line to get in, and yes the hayride was long but most of it was empty field with nothing happening… and when something was there it wasn’t scary. It was quite a disappointment.

I’m not a huge haunted house person but I would think this place would have been a bit scarier. The staff seemed very well organized but the scare factor did seem to exist. We did the VIP(RIP) package which was a little bit more money but we did get to skip the long lines so to me that was worth if. We did the hay ride first. Like the other person wrote, they put two carts together so you know what’s coming if you sit in the second cart. It also wasn’t very scary. People jump out at you but No scare factor. Then we did the haunted house. Also not scary. I think they were trying to tell a story but if you go more than 8 people everyone won’t be able see/hear. I think it had potential but the scare factor was lacking again.

Great place to go for kids and adults! The hayride has 2 scary things out of about 13 scenes. It is a long good ride for people who don’t like to get scared when people jump out at you. It is on the sort of scary side and is very fun! I recommend it if you wait until your kid is in 3rd grade to ride. I hope you guys go to and have fun at Sleepy Hollow!

Went on Sunday the 20th and had a great time! They are very creative in setting up the props and thinking outside of the box. A few of the rooms had really cool illusions and there was a tunnel that made you feel dizzy. The actors were plentiful and well trained. They employ actors, cars, trucks, and I even saw a live horse and snake as part of an act. The field attraction was very long to walk through and generally we were pleased with all 3 attractions(hayride, house, and field). Definitely do the hayride first since that is time consuming. The lines to buy tickets were quick and also the lines to get in the attraction were relatively fast. They time them so that you aren’t bumping into other groups. We didn’t bump into any other groups for either attraction! Sundays there are discounts and we paid $ 24 pp for all three attractions at the window. Buying at the window saves the $ 3 fee for online purchases. I felt that we got our money’s worth for the entertainment. I advise to arrive at 7pm or as close to that as possible, that’s the best time to skip the lines. Generally we were pleased with the visit except that hot chocolate was $ 2.50 and smores were $ 6.50 and it was only enough to make 2 smores by the bonfire. Those items were way overpriced. Also parking is $ 2. Overall, I recommend!

I have been to just about every Haunted House on the east coast in the past 25 years so I feel i am very qualified to review these attractions. I will review all that i have been to so look for my reviews everywhere. I plan my OCT each year around haunted Houses. I am very fair in my reviews as well and feel they are accurate. This review is for Sleepy Hollow. I wanted to give this a 2 and a half but couldn’t so i just made it a two. The only redeeming thing about this place at all is the Haunted House. Save your money and dont do any of the other stuff. They were really bad. Let me explain… We did the hayride first. This was one of the worst hayrides i have ever been on other than Shady Brook farms which was even worse. They use double carts attached to a tractor so they can get twice as many people though. What does that mean for you? Well if you are in the second cart you will see nothing. i mean come on!!! one cart is already long enough and hard to see everything but two, the people in the second cart may as well just shut their eyes. One room we went into was some guy that said he lost his dog, so they take you into a barn, where some lights flashed and this AWFUL broken speaker was playing a sound of a wolf, the problem was the speaker was blown and it sounded stupid, Some really FAT girl open a door and was supposed to scare us, the only problem was she was so fat she had to sit down and scoot off the ledge to even get down. WOW, a ravenous dog that has to slowly scoot off the ledge what a scary scene. We sat there for what seemed like an eternity just waiting to see something else and NOTHING ever happened. Not a thing. I thought something must have been broken. One of the worst scenes i have ever witnessed in my life. Things didn’t get much better. All the scenes were bad. The only thing cool were the farm vehicles that acted like they were going to ram the carts from the sides and rear. one actually did hit the side of the cart. Pretty much boring. Second was the Field of Fright. They should call this the field of No sight. There is nothing to see. The people were so bored that one actor just stood there yelling corn and everyone in the attraction just yelled the same thing from boredom. You could hear the word«Corn» echoing for the entire house, which was pretty short. That at least amused me. The ONLY thing good about this was the very last room, Not just because it was the end but there was a spot where someone was hidden extremely well and got a good scare on us. Oh yeah and they also had one Animatronic snake. So i went into the Haunted House really expecting total disappointment on the night BUT… it was actually good. They must spend all of their money on this part of the attraction. it was pretty high tech with some great illusions. Two things i have never seen before. Don’t worry i wont spoil them for you. It was also fairly interactive. They put me in a box and separated me from my group with a trap door that was pretty cool. They also used our names throughout the house and even had them on some tombstones. They did some cool things with lighting and mis direction as well. All in All i was pleased with the house. I would have given it 3 stars but the first two were so bad I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. So if you go, just know that there is one decent thing here. There are so much better attractions within an hour or two.

Awesome! Just wished the hayride was scary, fell very short… haunted house and field of terror were Amazing and well made. The Haunted house was definitely the star of the night! Very well worth every penny! Nice country setting with bonfires, a live band and great warm apple cider.
