Came to Soho pizza in Newtown for a chicken salad. I had their regular soho salad with mango and added chicken. It was decently tasty and a bit creative, but my only critique would be that there needed to be more lettuce, and that it should be served in a bowl. Eating a salad on a plate limits the amount you can eat and allows for lettuce to fall off the dish. It also could of had candied walnuts instead of plain walnuts to enhance the sweetness. I was also disappointed to see that soho pizza has not come to times of gluten free pizza. So instead, I will go to country pizza in Monroe where the gluten free dough is made fresh for those with food allergies. The inside of soho pizza is fun, but I had to sit at a counter top since it was busy on a Saturday evening.

Super good pizza joint. Thin crust with high quality cheese and well balanced sauce volume. Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. Moulding recommend for large groups too.

Pizza is okay. This pizzeria does well because of it’s location. They can thank there success to the university across the street. Anywhere else they would be struggling.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday after seeing good reviews on Unilocal. They didn’t disappoint. We ordered a Margerita pizza and a salad with grilled chicken. Excellent! They don’t serve alcohol so we called ahead and they said we could bring our own. It was a great lunch. Now the reason for the low score. We ordered two pizzas for pick up on a Friday night and the girl told me 40 minutes. I go in 45 minutes thinking I’ll give them an extra 5 minutes and the woman working the counter told me another 8 – 10 minutes. It was packed with people waiting for their pick ups. 10 minutes later I went back to the counter and a guy working there told me another 5 minutes. 5 minutes later I went back to the counter and he told me 4 – 5 minutes. This went on for 50 minutes. At this point I had to leave without the pizza because I had someone waiting in the car for me and she had plans and couldn’t wait any longer. We didn’t have dinner because of this. All they needed to do was be honest with me when I ordered the pizza and I would have picked it up in two hours or however long it would take. I didn’t appreciate having to stand there that long in the crowd and ultimately not eat that night.

Best pizza place in Connecticut I think. The place has a beautiful décor and is very cozy. Grandmas slice is my favorite. They also have amazing gelatos

It took 2 hours and 10 minutes for our pizza to arrive. I called twice and Dennis the manager lied both times and said the pizza was going out the door at that time. The pizza is delicious, service is awful. Don’t order from here if you are hungry and want your food anytime soon. Very disappointed tonight.

Not to good, we ordered an pizza and a grinder. Pizza was like rubber and the grinder was pretty cheap. Will never go back.

My boyfriend and I can’t stop ordering the caprese salad! We also love the selection of ice cream flavors for our milkshakes. Would love to see more pasta dishes on the menu.

Best of the pizza so far in Newtown. Was missing the pizza in Danbury, but Soho brings some of that here now. The crust is a tad unusual, but tastes great. Worth a try, and they also have great, but limited selection of ice cream.

I never write reviews but this place warrants a review. I’m in Newtown for a work contract and I have had the most miserable time trying to find edible food. Literally every place I’ve ordered from I never ate all the food and I threw away more than half because of how horrible it was(despite the very high Unilocal ratings). I almost gave up completely until I gave in to Soho Pizza. The pizza was actually so good!!! For the first time in the past 1.5 months I have enjoyed the food I have gotten from a restaurant in Newtown. The pizza was super fresh and full of all the right flavors. I ordered the grandma pizza with light cheese. The only downsides to this place are: 1) I had to wait around 27 minutes after my credit card was swiped to get my pizza. I decided to go there and see the difference between the Marg and the Grandma so I had to order there instead of ahead. 2) For the grandma pizza there is only one size. Be prepared to eat pizza for a few days if you’re ordering for yourself because it’s very large and was around $ 20. For two or three people its a good size and good price and size. 3) It is right next to my gym!!! Which is awful but that’s what got me in there. So if you work out at Core Fitness, good luck watching people go to their cars with pizza boxes! …the gym is great too btw Anyways, finally someone is doing something right in Newtown!!! Thanks for the great food!

Ordered X-large ½ pepperoni ½ sausage. Pizza was good sized and at a reasonble price point. Place was clean and we ate in at one of the tables. Overall not bad.

For those who love NYC pizza you will enjoy SOHO. The crispy crust a la Two Boots will have you saving the train ride to the Avenue A original store or even bridgeport! Courteous staff, great selection and pricing of their food. Kids will love the gelato and parents will love the café choices.

Great pizza. The crust really makes it. Salads and sandwiches are just as good as the pizza. They also deliver.
