Its a big«NO». Everything was not at all called the«good Indian food». I only liked the restaurant name.

Best place around Niagara Falls. They have different varieties, I Have tried their«Thali» comes with two curries of your choice out of what they have at that moment(they usually have 5 varieties), rice and a Paratha. I found quantity is more than enough for a Person, rice was too much for me, I suggest having 2 paratha instead that much rice. Food was delicious, tried mutter paneer, rajama, Dal makhni etc… And yes they have very good Mango Lassi as well. Worth trying. Nice place to dine in and very quick service.

If you are a vegetarian, this is the only nice place around Niagara falls. Delicious dishes.

I had good from here for couple of times. Menu was same both days. But not to complain as it was hot fresh and very much close to home made food. Parathas were good. Little expensive though.

It would be great if the Falls offered real Indian food at a reasonable price. Fam and I stopped at the Lol-Bollywood Bistro for some chaat. For the price we expected a larger serving but also a better quality chaat. The chaat was basically watered down with a mixture of yogurt and chutney. Very little garbanzo and very little papars. Tasteless and worthless. Some guy walking in mentioned the food is good. I suspected the person is either a worker or related to the owner.

I’m glad I came here. The service staff was really nice and friendly, but the food is a little pricey compared to the amount of food you get. I had the vegetarian thali. You get to decide the two sides you want. I got the mutter paneer and the Chunna. Both were really good! My family also ordered the bhel puri. Must try the bhel puri, it was so good.

Friendly quick service. The vegetarian meal to go was quick and flavorful. I had the rice with the two sides. It was on the spicy side which I liked very much. Great meal great service.

I got food poisoning!!! Never going here again ! I feel being Indian — this place should be shut down and thoroughly inspected by food inspector, the food has weird rotten taste ! I left almost everything after few bites.

Went to this small Indian place when we were at Niagara falls. It was a big mistake! The food here was oily, half cooked and a complete disappointment. The only thing we liked was the onions and green chutney! Don’t even try the bhatura, which looks like the styrofoam floaters you get at Niagara! The aloo paratha tastes like it was made with some weird oil.

On weekends you have to wait forever to order your food and have it prepared! Seating is outdoor and mostly crowded and very noisy. On cold days, not very comfortable sitting outside on those plastic chairs and waiting forever for your food to arrive. I’m sorry to say this but this place was our last option after trying to secure a table at a few other restaurants. I’m not a great fan of their food! For an Indian, Punjabi restaurant, the food seemed bland and tasteless. But it was colorful though with all the food color and lot of oil in it. Very pricey too!

Walked in with our family & the man behind the counter proceeded to loudly belch in our faces. Turned around & walked out. Any opportunity to sample their food was outdone by their rude behavior :(walked to the end of the block to the hotdog stand which was excellent.

Great vegetarian food options and very good taste. Very nice and kind service. Price are good too. Their Aloo Pratha, samsosa and chola Bhatura are awesome. For vegetarian people is best place to eat. There is no vegetarian restaurant in whole Niagara Falls. Definitely I will recommend to people.

Some of the food is really good ! Like i tried Choley Bhatura and its awesome. I would definitely recommend the Chai also. Have never tasted the same in US ever. Veg biryani is good but could be more spicy. other food is average and some I did not try ! Staff is friendly, food is cheap and definitely recommend this place !!!

Pricey and Horrible food. We ordered all 5 items from the Jain menu. The idly was cold and chutney was watery and tasteless. The chhole bhatura was not cooked properly. The only thing good was Mango Lassi. I will never go there again.

Came for lunch after seeing the falls. The restaurant is in the same parking so was very convenient. The owner that helped us know what each item was was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us samples of the different sides. I got the Veg Thali with Dal and chickpeas. So delicious and so much flavor! The roti bread that came with it had a nice crust. If I ever see the Falls again I will be back.

Could I give a negative star? That should explain my review. If it doesn’t, here’s the tl;dr version. I will give the food at Bollywood Bistro full marks for fulfilling the purpose. And that is — The food is cooked for tourists visiting Niagara falls. Its not cooked so that you will revisit the restaurant for its«exquisite» taste. We ordered a take-away — paneer chilly, paneer paratha and idli sambhar. It is by far the most disappointing food I have ever eaten from all the restaurants I have been to in the U.S. The paneer chilly was watery, paneer paratha was probably made using readily available frozen parathas and sambhar was… — well… i really don’t know what it was but it sure was no sambhar! Benefit of the doubt — Maybe the umpire’s ruling is too harsh here. I had referred to all the comments on Unilocal before zeroing in on my choice. As they all speak so well of their food, I was surprised with the quality that I got. So the benefit of the doubt here can be that I had ordered pick-up food and my order was around their closing time. So all you Unilocalers can take this review with a pinch of salt, but I was compelled to write this review as I definitely did not enjoy the food here.

The food is way too expensive and not that great. There are other better spots. Plus u have to have cash. These people are way too cheap to pay credit card machine fees so the don’t accept credit cards until u make a big purchase. For reporting to IRS a business has to report earnings. So cash transactions are probably fudged up. Just a thought.

the name of this place should speak volumes to you. Bollywood bistro? get real. pathetic place. don’t waste ur hard earned money on this place. anyone who says their food is good has no idea what good Indian food tastes like. and it’s expensive for terrible tasting food. the location is absolutely great but believe me when I say it’s definitely not worth ur time or money. my husband who is from India ordered food and never wastes food. the food was so bad, he threw most of the food away because it was disgusting. he got veg thaili. it was 11 $ for mutter paneer and chana curry. neither had any spice and the paneer curry had just 1 thinly sliced piece of paneer. just take my word and walk to zaika’s which is right off 3rd street. soooo much better tasting and worth the time.

Stopped in yesterday and ended up getting a snack, samosa chaat, instead of a full meal because if the prices and because we wants do get takeout for a picnic in the nearby state park. The samosa chaat was excellent. Chopped up samosas with chickpea curry over the top. It will come with yogurt by default, so specify if you don’t want it. It was $ 7, which is only $ 1 less than a buffet in Buffalo, but what can you do? We wanted to try it. They advertise their vegan and Jain food, which is more expensive than the other food. The place is 100% vegetarian and a thali is $ 10 or $ 12 for Jain thali. Very casual. Everything is served on styrofoam with plastic utensils. Order at the register and wait for your food.
