For families visiting with toddlers and their grand parents, this is the place to go. They have something for everyone in the family. They are in a great location near the falls on the US side. The buffet spread for lunch and do nene is decent with many options for vegetarians. They have only two items with meat. Food tasted fresh and good and the price was reasonable. The staff was courteous even when handling a lot of people who were already seated and a few who were waiting. They have a huge covered patio which is good for big groups. The restrooms are clean, but there are no changing stations for babies. I have been to other Indian restaurants in the area which charge more and serve stale and tasteless food.

When you are Niagara, you are fighting against people for food on a busy weekend. We went here for a lunch buffet and although the items are less looks like 13.95 is the standard in Niagara falls for a buffet. The food was decent i liked the chicken gravy and the veg gravy. If you are in Niagara falls and you are hungry this is a place to have some decent food.

Superb flavor and authentic Punjabi food. Tried the buffet and ordered food off the menu. The stuffed paratha, kofta curry, daal makhni and egg curry were simply outstanding. The buffet spread wasn’t too many dishes, but all the dishes I tried were very delicious. The samosas weren’t very good. Would highly recommend this buffet in Niagara.

Worst food ever. ordered paneer tikka masala and malai kofta. both tasted worse. the naan was burned. later ordered chicken biryani, the chicken pieces in it tasted like made 3 days before. the quantity for what u pay is also less. if u r reading my review. please don’t visit this place if u don’t want to regret…

Buffet was decent. Flavorful and not spicy. My expectations were below par, given the recent experiences. Punjabi Hut managed to exceed those modest expectations

While the taste was okay, the management was pretty bad. Most of the items in buffet weren’t being filled with the place being too crowded. I guess there aren’t much options around for Indian cuisine.

The buffet is horrible. Worst punjabi food i have had in a while. I understand that i only paid $ 14 per person, But i would rather have fewer well cooked items than a whole bunch of watery vegetables.!! FYI: I would’nt write this review if the food was mediocre.

We came here on Friday and the service was worst. There was no one to welcome or ask what we wanted. The naans were not served and rice was served after an hour. We had to get up and go to some other restaurant. The cheque took forever to be billed. Overall the service was really bad. There was no cleanliness maintained. Some big party of 40people came so they were least interested in entertaining us.

Three stars is not fair at all !! The best Punjabi/desi khana you can eat. Fresh, authentic and tastes like home cooked food. Perfect spice levels and perfect everything. Lots of vegetarian options for those who are looking for it. I just took that one star away for those people who are looking for a «dining ambience». I have always believed that not every good looking restaurant serves good food. Ambience is average but hey, who cares? I’m gonna be there everytime I visit Niagara and I am usually an annual or biennial visitor ! The food is delicious and it’s right off the falls !

Can’t believe I paid $ 15 for their crappy food. I would give their food 2⁄5. Their kitchen is untidy and congested. I wonder why there wasn’t any surprise inspection from government food agency. The only good thing I saw was the location of the place. As it’s pretty close to the park. No wonder why it was so crowded.

One of the good Indian restaurants near Niagara Falls. I really liked their chai. We ordered the paneer dishes and garlic nan, and both of them turned out well. The service is a little slow, so do go with some time in hand. It’s a small place with good Indian food and conveniently located. A good bet for Indian tourists visiting the falls.

One of the better Indian places near Niagara Falls. If you’re a health nut then maybe you should stay away. Like typical punjabi food prepared in India, the food had generous amount of oil(no complaints honestly). Samosas were fantastic. Service was a little slow but that’s ok, because I think there was just one chef making food from scratch.

Worst ever experience… Stupid disturbing music. I ordered chana bhatura they served chole poorie. Then they changed the order and I got the worst bhaturas ever in life. And the type of chnna they serve are not actually served with channa bhatora. They told me that is what is served. Come on I have never served in oast 27 years this type of channa. And the bhatura was not cooked properly. The owner must vist India and get the correct recipe or he should visit santabanta, waltham, MA to get the stuff correct. I don’t recommend this place.

Worst Indian food I have ever ate. The quality of food was pathetic. The food was cold and drinks were hot. Even though it was not busy but the management cannot keep up with the demand. Had a glimpse of the kitchen, the kitchen seemed to be dirty and no one was wearing gloves. After eating the food all of us had pain in the stomach and felt uneasy. The buffet had the degraded quality. I would never suggest this restaurant to anyone. The only plus point of the restaurant is the location since it is near to the falls.

12 bucks for the lunch buffet at this filthy restaurant. I’m Indian myself and am truly ashamed by how lousy of an establishment this place is. Maybe growing up in nyc has given me high standards? I doubt it. This place was disgusting. The place across the street is no better. I wouldn’t give this food to a dog.

Pros: Delicious! The staff was friendly and were happy to check with the kitchen about some questions, because I have some intolerances. They talked with me about the menu and helped me pick something I could eat. I had the goat curry with papadam on the side, and my girlfriend had samosas and chana masala. Everything was delicious. Outdoor seating! High-quality to-go containers made eating leftovers at our hotel comfortable and not messy. Cons: Service was a little slow even though they didn’t look busy, and I wish they had more than one wine to choose from.

Do not eat at this place when u visit Niagra falls! The place looks appealing with Desi crowd and Indian items on the menu but it’s disappointing. The gravies taste the same and breads are quite doughy. Also, their kitchen looks filthy! Look for a better option.

Never trust Unilocal close to tourist attraction… Looking at 4 ½ star rating we stepped into this restaurant around 8ish… After looking at the buffet, we asked if we can order off the menu and they said it was only buffet. So, grudgingly we went for buffet… Their Rajma was bland and tasted less, Paneer in Paneer Mutter is almost non-existent(it’s was flavor less too), the Dal was ok and the other aloo beans was edible. The Naan was decent and the rice was dried out. The thing that bugged me was that they had plastic plates & spoons at the buffet. It also bugged me that people who came after us were ordering from the menu(preferential treatment??) I don’t understand how this place can get 4 stars… 2 star is being generous.

Good authentic Indian food with a decent amount of hotness. Good vegetarian dishes on the buffet. And we liked the chicken curry too! The naan was hot and fresh. The outdoor seating is super pleasant. Service is fast and friendly. We will make this a destination every time we are at Niagara Falls!
