Niceville Auto Service

This company continually exceeds my expectations in regards to service and delivery. They are hard-​working and honest which is a rarity in this day and age. I highly recommend them and will go no other place to service my car.

I called Niceville auto to compare their prices with Gary Smith Honda. Honda told me that I needed a power relay, compressor clutch, and field coil set. Honda had estimated me at about $ 750 (including labor). The guy at Niceville auto told me to buy the relay and see if that would work. It cost my dad $ 6 and the AC works fine. I’m buying gift cards for the guys at Niceville auto for saving me over $ 700, and Honda will lose our business.

Great quality service. They’re very friendly, honest, and they do a great job supporting their customers.
The «down-​side,» in my opinion, is that they are extremely expensive. I have no problem with paying a fair amount for the services I get. But this place charges $ 99 an hour. Please…$ 99 an hour? I have a Masters Degree. My wife has a Masters, too. Neither of us makes anywhere near $ 99 an hour.
Figuring a 2,000 work year, each of their full-​time mechanic is bringing in $ 200,000 a year to the shop. I’m glad they do good work, and that their people are well-​trained. But I have serious doubts that even one of those wrench-​jockies is being paid anywhere near even half of that. In fact, I’d bet the average salary there is $ 50K/​yr or less.
But, I’m a big advocate of «liberty.» I believe you should be able to charge what your customer is willing to pay. So, God bless them for being able to make that kind of money. I’m also a big advocate of «free speech»…so, be informed. I think it’s ridiculous to pay $ 99/​hr for a service you can get a few blocks away for half that rate.
