The food has always been decent enough. I feel like it’s better than your typically chain diner fare, though I really miss the Sausage Chili they used to have. My problem lies with the prices. It’s a little ridiculous to me to pay over $ 10 for a Burger, fries, and soda. It’s good, but those are prices charged by better burger joints. The service is always friendly(Donna at the Nicholasville location is the best!) but I wish it wasn’t as pricey as it tends to be.

Bob Evans. Common, but when I want breakfast it’s my favorite choice. I normally go with Farmer’s Choice. Mainly because of the three options of pancakes, French toast or crêpe. And at this location the food is seldom a disappointment.

Had an omelet probably worst I have ever eaten all the vegetables were raw I will never try another omelet here this visit did not compare to Cracker Barrel maybe it’s me but I think the vegetables need to be sautéed first

The potato-crusted halibut was just absolutely delicious! I would have taken a picture but I ate it too quickly! Staff was friendly and courteous.

Great southern-style food. We love coming here for the breakfast and turkey dinners. You can’t go wrong with either. The wait staff has always been nice at this location, too. So that’s definitely a plus. My favorite breakfast is the Homestead. You get two eggs any style, a breakfast meat, home fries or hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy. It’s quite a lot of food, so you shouldn’t leave hungry. Another good breakfast option are the blueberry crepes! With the turkey dinner, you get a nice helping of turkey slices on top of sage dressing, and two sides of your choice, and any bread that you want. They also give you a small cup of cranberry sauce. The turkey and dressing has turkey gravy on top(yum!). The only drawback is that the turkey isn’t trimmed very well; you’ll get some fatty pieces and skin but they remove easily with a table knife. It’s still worth it though.

Breakfast is pricey compared to other places close by. Large group served quickly but food was cold by the time last order came out.

I really enjoy coming here when I want home cooking. It’s not too loud and I can enjoy a conversation. Friendly staff and food is always fresh.
