Van Cleefs Salon

Veronica arrived a bit late, but she was quite inquisitive and a delight to have cut my hair. She asked many questions to which I had no answers, and she rolled well with it.
Great job. What’s that smell? It’s awesome!

I love Matthew S… I am a VERY picky blonde and he is sooo conscientious & caring about getting me to my right happy blonde place … He is a blast to be around yet very skilled. Usually stylists I’ve gone to in the past, lack in one of these 3 areas, but Matthew is truly talented with cutting, color, and styling.
I usually never leave a salon pleased with the way my hair is styled after a cut/​color yet I love his work straight out the door. He can copy a picture with ease… This guy is a gem & reasonably priced for a high end salon. worth the cost!

Salon is fair, I think the shampoo chairs/​hair bowls are uncomfortable. Matthew S was my stylist. Saw him in Jan and he did a decent cut and color. Went back in Feb for perm, which he had encouraged me do have done and it didn’t take at all. Even knowing my hair was completely without curl, I was charged full price upon leaving. Two days later I informed him I wasn’t happy with the lack of… well, any curl or wave whatsoever. I was to receive a credit at my next appt in March. I went in to have partial color and trim and was charged $ 65! I guess I was most upset about the fact I hadn’t really gotten any service at my last appt. I feel like professionals should stand behind their work and if it’s not right, correct the problem. I threw a lot of money down the drain for a perm I didn’t receive, but you can make up your own mind. Again, the color was good, but at your own risk… no guarantees.

Here’s the thing. My hairstylist — Timothy Fields parks his chair at Van Cleefs. And he’s the best. Things that have been said about my hair:
1. I love your hair, who does it?
2. Your hair moves like a sentence, and it’s the exclamation point.
3. You have perfect TV hair (from a news channel camera man– so he knows)
If you can get in with Timothy Fields, do it. He’s at Van Cleefs, it’s centrally located, the vibe inside is nice and tidy and upscale — but Tim is the magician.

Brandon Budig is a huge talent. I’m so happy I no longer have to drive to Edmond for his services. The salon is clean and modern. Front desk staff is very helpful.
