I enjoy eating here. The portions are always big and the staff is friendly. The food is ok also pretty good and here you have a good choice when you decide not to have meat for your meal. I always get the falafel which is always cooked to order. Huge sandwich which you could split unless you were starving. Also if you ahve been here before you could ask for the falafel plate(not dispalyed in menu), has rice, salad and 5 falafels.

I’m looking forward to coming back and updating my review! was at the hoppin’ Golf Mill on a Thursday afternoon and wow, was this place swamped!(kidding) I like to try and support locally owned places and the Food Court at GMM has a nice mixture — McD’s and Panda Express but then at least two places not relying on a national reputation to get by. Le Pita was slow and they looked bored so I felt a little sorry for them and I love baba ghanoush! I asked for an appetizer serving of the hummus and the b.g. and to serve it on one container. delicious and smooth hummus and you could taste the fire(roasting) on the b.g. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Great tasting food. Prices ok. At golf mill mall food court. Service wasn’t too great. No smiles but that’s ok to me. Beef shawarma sandwich was great. Will be going back. Had to ask for hot sauce. Mmm

Brother sister duo is hardworking and make fresh food! They were accommodating and friendly. Their customer service is great! Their digital menu boards were helpful. I compared the food to Pita Inn so it didn’t fulfill my taste expectation. It was a wrap and had whole pickle spears and parsley. It may do the trick for some, but for me, my tongue is accustomed to Pita Inn!

First time trying this spot. Im a fan of Pita Inn and Sultans Market so I like to try other places and compare. Id say for the amount of food given, the prices are a bit high. There are free refills which I suppose makes up for a little bit of it. I had chicken shawarma salad which is a small salad. Tastes good. Chicken has a very charcoal taste. Not bad. Different than pita inn flavor. Salad and dressing seems the same. Also had hummus. It was good. 3 stars worth. Maybe 4. Its served with pita bread but the bread isnt a normal round bread. More like a blanket. thin. really good actually. Better than pita bread!

Honestly, a lot of the places that have come and gone from Golf Mill’s food court haven’t intrigued me a lot due to various reasons(i.e. Sbarro being overpriced), or locations that are worser vs. other locations(Panda Express, I’m looking at you). So seeing this open here was a breath of fresh air, since the choices here are just average and often make me want to eat at one of the strip malls outside of the mall. Thankfully, I can now add them to the short list of acceptable Golf Mill choices where I’m not against ordering something at, including BerryMoon. And I won’t forget to say Surf City Squeeze near Ross and JCPenney, or Gloria Jean’s north of the food court towards Sears. I ordered a beef schwarma wrap, and it was actually very tasty. I was not believing my eyes at how good it was at first, since a lot of the choices at this food court I find meh(particularly Subway and Panda Express). I need to try more items here before I can give it 4 stars, but I suspect this is already on the path towards that. Go here, in case by some odd chance you find yourself at Golf Mill and in need of something to eat, or before or after a movie. I’d love to see Le Pita Fresh break the streak of eateries that’ve come and gone from this particular food court space at Golf Mill, and provide the first consistency to this space since Arby’s left years and years ago.

The service is horrible. I have been waiting more than 20 minutes for a beef schwarma plate. There are only five other customers here. Also they ran out of rice. Seriously. Rice. Just save yourself some time and go to Patio Beef.

Been to numerous restaurants, this one has to be one of the cleanest and friendliest. I have a very sensitive stomach to foods that use old oil etc… This place doesn’t. I feel really good after eating. I’m really concerned about the other reviewers, one mentioned cleavage– I’m a male and I’ve been visiting this place since it opened and hadn’t had a problem with there dress code. It’s interesting how you live in Barrington and drive 25 miles to eat a restaurant, you obviously don’t eat middle-eastern food to differentiate if its good or not. Not to mention your account is even matured to make such grubby reviews. Take your jealousy somewhere else. 5 –stars

Great food, great prices and awesome shawarma fries. I had the beef shawarma and falafel, my friend had the chicken shawarma. The yellow rice was amazing too. Great find in Golf Mill mall.

I am baffled why there are bad reviews for this place. We ordered from Grubhub and our food was delivered hot in an hour. They even have free delivery and the delivery guy Joey was very nice and polite. You can tell it was fresh and made to order. We ordered cheese rolls, beef rolls, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, kafta kabob, beef kabob and they were all amazing! The cheese rolls were my favorite. The chicken shawarma is the best I have ever had. So juicy and full of flavor, not just the boring dry chicken taste. The portions are very large so that’s’ why their pricing is a dollar or two more than other places like pita in. The only item we didn’t care for was the baba ghanoush, it had a little sour/tangy taste we didn’t expect. We will definitely be regular customers at this place!

As pita inn is one of my favorites, decided to try le pita. Worst food. Shawarma was tough and had no flavor, rice was plain white, pitas were cold and tasted old and the hot sauce tasted like bad salsa. The only good thing was the hummus.

OK, I order them through Grubhub, so I can’t say anything about the in store atmosphere. And my SECOND experience was lackluster in the delivery… HOWEVER1) both orders were VERY good, and especially for delivery(I’m sort of a shut in, so I eat a lot of delivery — you often get condensation in things — stuff is cold, bad packaging, etc. They are very good about that.) and 2) after the debacle with my second delivery, they comped my food, gave me the cold food also(on top of a fresh meal) and today the owner called back and treated us to another meal {the same as we ordered — didn’t feel right to order more} which will be delivered tonight. So I can’t speak to their restaraunt, but the food is good, and when delivery works, it’s great, — when it doesn’t the CUSTOMERSERVICE is great. This is my first Unilocal review ever, and I got the account specifically because they went so out of their way to be cool after a screw up, and because frankly the food is really good. WR that guy who writes zombie stuff, and apparently food reviews.

This was definitely not worth the drive to Golf Mill mall. My family and I went to the restaurant not knowing what to expect! Looking at the menu the food sounded good, but the prices were the worst! $ 5.00 for a sandwich, whereas I can go walk a few feet and buy a sandwich at McDonald’s for $ 1.00. I ordered the Gyros Sandwich. First of all it took over 1 hour for my family and I to get our food. Knowing how long it took and how expensive the food was I thought that it would be a great dish. Turns out I was wrong. My Sandwich looked undercooked and it took time for me to even accept this«dish.» It was horrible. The meat was as cold as ice. The sauce that came with my gyros was sickening. I had ice in it. The food itself didn’t taste too bad, until I looked at one of the waitresses outfits. I had to cover my eyes because of that. There were 2 waitresses one on the phone and one who was eating while taking orders. I expected more from this place. Obviously it needs some work.

Awful! Service: My family and I were the only customers, and we waited over thirty minutes for our food! It seems like the people there didn’t care. Also, one of the workers was eating her gyro right by the cash register. How unprofessional! Food: Bland, boring — some of the worst Mediteranian food I’ve ever had! It was lukewarm when I got it. Also, here’s a tip for the people working here — exposing your cleavage to the world isn’t going to help you get customers. I had to shield my brother’s eyes. Never go here!
