The owner is a complete asshole. Rude Mr. Think it all. Ordered food, he demanded how much tip he should get. No matters at all. I hope you lose your business. People like you do not need to succeed. Uneducated idiot who doesn’t know how to treat people.

Though I would give it one last try, just for old times sake. I literally walked in, realized their greasy frozen pre packaged food was still way over priced, it looked gross inside and the lady behind the counter had such a miserable look on her face that I walked right back out. No thanks.

Food was average. Nothing to rant and rave about. Gyros platter was good. Fries are greasy and not too tasty. Rib tips were good.

This became my family’s favorite spot to eat. We always order their Greek chicken. It is just so delicious and cooked perfectly. Everything else we have ordered have been great too. The staff are nice. We have also ordered for catering and I was very impressed by their professionalism. The owner worked with me on how to set up the food on the trays and I really appreciated it. I also believe their prices are fair for the quality of food we receive. Also, the place is always clean and kept clean.

I like their burgers and hot dogs. It’s not Portillos but they’ve been around for a while and have really made a name for themselves. I prefer it to Boobi’s which isn’t too far away.

The food is greasy and overpriced. The place is always kinda dirty– it definitely needs deep clean and freshen up! Customer service is very poor. I’m not sure if they follow all hygiene protocols from what could be seen at the counter.

This place is horrible, came in for the first time. The man on the counter whom I think is thw owner was not friendly at all. After reviewing the menu and HIGH prices my son decides to order the two hot dog special which was $ 9.00 for two hot dog and fries. I then proceed to order from the«SPECIALMENU» a gyros sandwich as stated in the list and for $ 9.00 and he proceeds and only charges me a gyros only. When I question my order he yells at me and says that’s a SPECIAL which I proceeded and told him that’s the one I pointed at!!! Then he says u had to pay more for his misunderstanding! I do t think so! The best part not even two seconds later another customers walks in and orders and he went and ask her«would u like the«SPECIAL» NEVERWOULD I BRINGMYFAMILYHERE

American flag just sitting on the ground outside next to the pole it’s supposed to be hanging on. Filthy and who knows how long it’s been sitting there. I asked the owner or manager about it and they did t seem to care at all. Like I was in the wrong for even asking about it. DISRESPECTFULLY!!!

Great fast food at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I particularly enjoy their gyros and pizza puffs. The soups are also very good. We’ve frequented this location for years as it’s close to home and continue to come back. They also have delivery.

Food was above average. Enough to go back. Value was nice. Service was gruff and could’ve been cleaner. Not much to say here. It was what it was. Would most likely go back but only to satisfy myself. Not enough to impress others. That simple.

Food isn’t that great, its just alright but the biggest problem is that the prices are ridiculous! $ 3 for a hot dog! There’s a lot of food places in the area that I would rather spend my money on than the low quality food that they serve there.

Havent been here since it changed owners. Not bad food, still hood proces for the amount. They have more selections and deals. Had the half chicken kabob n gyros with rice n salad. Rice was good, the gyros was a little to salty, the chicken was good. The salad is all lettuce. It wasnt bad, ill go back again n retry it. I was k with it.

A few years ago, I had a heart problem, so I visit a cardiologist from time to time. Fortunately, I exercise daily and maintain an exceptionally strict health regimen to remain in amazingly good shape for an old fossil. I was returning from a successful checkup where he told me that I am in extremely good shape; so I decided to celebrate by going to a place that had some not-so-healthy food — just this once. I decided upon Goodi’s because I had a $ 5 off coupon, I was going to pass by on my way back, and I had not been there in several years. I did not know that the place had new management, and that it was more of a Greek-style restaurant than the hot dog palace I recall it once was. «Frankly,» I think the last time I was there, the place was called Fluky’s, a well-known Chicago-style hot dog joint. I vaguely recall that it was sold off 10+ years ago, and the name was changed. They used to attract crowds there on Friday summer nights when they sponsored antique auto owners to display their cars in their lot as an attraction to draw business. Well, I entered with good intentions to order something non-healthy; but I chickened out and ordered a chicken sandwich. The sandwich was listed on their«healthy» menu. Goodi’s uses a counter service approach, and the menu resembles what you would experience at a Greek restaurant more than anything else. The restaurant looks a little tired, and could probably use some renovation and deep cleaning I know that many of the reviews were critical of Goodi’s, but I experienced none of the negative issues they reported. I experienced no problems with the staff nor with anybody’s attitudes. The sandwich was prepared correctly, and I thought that everything was within normal expectations for a place like Goodi’s.

They run a buy 1 gyro and 2 drinks and get 1 gyro free deal so I took my girlfriend there for gyros. When we ordered 2 gyros, 2 fries and 2 drinks the lady didn’t take the one gyro off the bill. When I asked about the deal she said because I got the meal it doesn’t count. So I said that’s fine I’ll order everything separately so I can get the deal. Even though I ordered the exact same thing, because it wasn’t a meal it was $ 3 more but I assumed I was getting the free gyro. When my order was ready there was only 1 gyro on the plate. When I again said im owed another gyro, the girl then explained to me that because I only asked for the deal the first time, and not the second time after I changed my order, I can’t get it(whatever that means). I said I ordered exactly what the deal is, so can’t I get the free gyro? But they refused to honor it. I’ve been here a few times and the food is decent. I just moved and it is right by my house too so I figured I would be a semi regular customer until this happened. Will absolutely never be back. And judging by the other comments it seems like they are severely lacking in the customer service category.

The manager itself won’t let me pick on the strawberry cheesecake I wanna buy he said that they all the same size and it’s obvious that they all different size, I can’t beleived that he can’t even reach to get what the consumer wants just to make sale, this place sucks and I will not comeback… also the food is so expensive

WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. The man in the front was extremely polite, however the woman running the counter was so rude that I can’t even explain it. She had no patience when my mother was trying to decide what to order and wouldn’t give her the price for the specials. Extremely rude and never coming back here again.

The food was nothing to write home about but was good, american food. I’ve driven by a few times and didn’t notice the place until they had some car show going on. I think this may have been a place called flukeys I loved as a child. I didn’t get the same vibe.

This place actually had the audacity to sell me a Greek salad, from out of a bag! The price was a staggering 10.46 $ !!! Eating it i couldn’t help feeling, «Dear Lord! This isn’t even a good salad, and if I want crap like this I can go to any truck-stop!» I’m a fair man. The previous owners had fair prices. I loved going there especially for the wonderful Greek salad with grilled chicken on top. They were decent people and never had the egotism to charge a jaw-dropping $ 10.46!!! Good Lord! It’s only a salad with chicken. NEWSFLASH… YOUAREINNILES, NOTGLENCOE! NOTKENILWORTH! NOTLAKEFOREST! Everybody I know around town, the working people who hold very low-playing, soul-crushing jobs around Niles, constantly tell me they can’t afford to eat at places like Goodi’s because«It’s too expensive.» And believe me, I told everybody how great the food at Goodi’s was when the previous owners were there. I recently dined in Winnetka, and here’s the thing about that… most residents in that community will pay 10.46 for a Greek salad… because most of the people who live in places like Winnetka are doctors, attorneys etc… and they don’t get paid 8 bucks an hour! You can charge them an arm and a leg and they might go for that. It would still be greedy to over-charge anybody, but the richest communities in Illinois have money to spend, much more money to spend than the average Niles resident, and that’s exactly why you see moms driving Porsche SUVs around the North Shore. But this is Niles! Most residents I meet are hurting. They shop at Walmart for the cheapest food, and eat generic soup out of the can for lunch because they tell me that’s the best way to stretch their puny income. Go see what their reaction will be when you tell them you’d like them to pay 10.46 for a salad. You would think being Greek and Christian the owners would feel ashamed even at the thought of serving too-expensive, lousy food. But they seem immune to learning anything that could help their business succeed. If that was my restaurant and I devoted all of my time and energy to it, I wouldn’t dare serve food out of a bag to the people of this community and screw them with ridiculous prices. There’s a reason PITAINN across the street is overflowing with customers! Goodi’s owners have lots to learn, most of all HUMILITY. They don’t seem to factor in the cost of losing once great customers, and they don’t seem to care about the quality of their food!!! When you work for money and not for love the world always becomes a more miserable place for all of us. The cost of greed should be intolerable to every mother and father on the planet who love their children and love the world and want to see the world become a place of love and happiness for all living beings. Alas, everybody loves to bow down to $$$$$$$$ The consequence of serving lousy food and charging way too much is that once valued customers Unilocal! to everybody about the bad experience they had, and let them know to never waste their money at Goodi’s restaurant. Lastly, it’s incredibly selfish forcing all your customers to watch TV and especially the news with all the horrific, tragic events of the world while families are trying to eat a meal. It amazes me that these owners would never dare consider playing pleasant music that actually makes people feel good to be there! Music greatly improves ambience… especially in a restaurant. Television has really become a cancer in our world and you can’t sit down to meal without the glowing box of death everywhere you go. It makes the eating experience extremely unpleasant, but good luck trying to express that to the owners of Goodi’s. Good restaurants don’t need TV! The Pita Inn has played music for thirty years non-stop and I believe it’s one of the reason they are successful. Because to be THERE is a happy experience, not a dismal and depressing one. The heart of Goodi’s problem… if you don’t respect yourself… how can you respect your customers? ~*~

Went there this weekend as it was it was in the entertainment book with a 50% discount. Placed my order and gave her my phone to get the discount. She said she needed to get the manager as she didn’t know what to do??? Manager says it’s not the correct coupon? Read the coupon out loud and it was the correct location! He wouldn’t take it? Why on earth sign up for the coupon if you won’t honor it. Clearly lost a customer! It looked kind of dingy anyway.
