Lucky Wok continues to be my go-to Chinese food delivery. I normally order through GrubHub and we have always had fast, hot and delicious food delivered by a courteous driver. So far we have not had anything that I wouldn’t order again!

Ordered delivery for the first time and was very upset with what I received. I ordered vegetable chow mein and received a bowl of vegetables and a bag of crunchy croûton type topping with it. I called and complained and they did not apologize or offer to fix anything. They said there is their chow mein which I find hard to believe since the receipt they brought with it says«Chop suey» I’ve never seen chow mein like this. There are no noodles at all. Their menu needs to specify. Will not be ordering again. Horrible customer service. Did not Rectify the problem.

Order from Lucky Wok on a very frequent basis for years. Family enjoys the meals, rice, noodles & crab rangoon. Delivery has always been fantastic and the drivers are very nice.

First time we went this location! I asked for Curry Chicken he said He doesn’t like curry taste! Wow being owner that’s not answer I expect! I still order that and it was ok, yes got curry flavor but nothing else Just Chicken and Onions! My wife ordered Eeg plant with Garlic Sauce with extra, …extra. …extra…spicy but what??? That came with no Gralic and no Spicy… Just sweet and sour sauce! !!!

This is probably my only favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Their chicken and shrimp fried rice is absolutely delicious. I would recommend their Mongolian beef as well.

Standard Chinese food … Nothing special, very much absent the wow factor. Ingredients — mid to low quality Speed — decent Taste — ok Value — $ 29. Two entrées one appetizer(you decide) Again, nothing special about this place. This place is like any other Chinese restaurant. Honestly you could change out the name and it would taste no different any other Chinese take out within a five mile radius.

Chicken lo mein is perfect! The broccoli chicken comes with other veggies, so it was okay. The fried rice is also YUM! Definitely worth a trip when you’re in the mood for some delish/easy Chinese food & movie night!

Trying to find a good delivery Chinese around here has proven to be difficult. We ordered potstickers(humongously fat and huge but my son enjoyed them), BBQ pork fried rice(excellent) and sesame chicken. The sesame chicken was terrible. Was like sweet and sour chicken with some sesame seeds thrown on top. Oh and we got egg rolls. Pretty terrible. The BBQ pork fried rice was really good, though, so we might try again to find a different entrée that delivers well and could make up for lame sesame chicken. We’ll keep trying to find the sweet spot…

Ordered via Eat24 with a coupon. Potstickers(huge and overstuffed to be potstickers); egg rolls(no bueno), sesame chicken(yuckers 100%) and BBQ pork fried rice(EXCELLENT). Perhaps we will try again with a different entrée that delivers better and tastes good to compliment the delicious fried rice. Trying to find a legit Chinese delivery around here is pretty hard even with so many Asian people and places around!

Pretty darn good Chinese food! I ordered via grub hub, quick and detailed menu options. I didn’t know that white rice would come with the entrees so I ordered it separately. I saw another reviewer mentioned that they use MSG, I didn’t research this, and was a bit weary after placing my order. It arrived in the time stated(but $ 6 delivery charge was not cool!) The food reminds me of china town chinese food, not just take out. Everyone commented similarly. I ordered medium-hot spicy level, but most items came a little bland, while I like some kick in it. Next time I’ll order over the phone to get my point across, cause sometimes I wonder what prints for them off of grub hub may not be exactly every checkmark box I checked off. Overall ok, will try diff stuff next time. I’m not a cheap ass, but feel the $ 6 delivery charge is a bit steep.

Ordered via grubhub on their website. Very fast and easy to place order and have it delivered. Was happy with sesame chicken meat quality. It white meat that was fresh. Batter was too soggy tho I peeled it off as it was no big deal today for me. If you like it crispy ask for sauce on side and put it on when you get it. The sauce is not sweet like other places its got a tang to it. Crab rangoon was great. Creamy. Too bad it wasnt in the crispy wonton style or it would have been extraordinary for me. Chicken fried rice. Cant complain. I am not a fried rice person but it was not salty like other fried rice I have tried in other places. White rice. Ok. Not sticky like the way I like it clingy to each other and plate type of sticky. Beef and Broccoli. Very cool how they prepared it. They charred the meat in some places. You could taste the charred flavor in the sauce. Beef they used was good quality. Broccolli was also the good selection type. Not old or left too long in the field. They used the right age/cut of broccolli. DELIVERY! 6.00! Man was cool and mellow. Cant get over 6 dollar fee though. Paid 5 in tip so 11 bucks to get food here to my workplace might have been a bad splurge of my money.

We’ve been ordering from LW for about a year now. It’s one of the few places here that is consistent in taste and quality. We normally get the combination egg foo young, yang chow rice(fried rice without all the icky salt!) and Singapore noodles(which they accommodate for us by subbing pea pods for green peppers). all food is hot and ready when I pick it up. It is consistent and tastes the same each time. While the service might not be fancy — it’s serviceable and the food is great!

For fast food Chinese it fits the bill. My wife is Chinese and does not like Asian/American food. They make it authentic enough for here. I like the food as well. The egg rolls are the best. I am concerned about the MSG someone mentioned and will ask them about it next time we order. And yes their English is not the best so you must have a bit of patience.

In searching for a consitently good chinese food restaurant in the Skokie/morton grove area, we tried this place. It’s not half bad. I can only recommend the Mongolian beef with no reservations. It’s consistently good. And the Mongolian Chicken. The rest… Meh.

Food barely edible, greasy and flavorless. People are rude when you call in for an order. The only reason I gave a 2 star instead of 1 is out of pity.

They use MSG. No other reviews mention this, so I thought I’d better call and ask. They said I could ask for them not to add it in some things, but other things they can’t take it out. I figure that if you have to use MSG to enhance the flavor, then you must not be a very good or skilled cook/chef…I’m also extremely allergic to MSG, so I’ll stay away from here.
