Mona’s Studio

Few years ago my wife walked in Mona’s studio for a haircut. She walked out a happy customer. When she told me about the place, I was skeptical going there since I was used to the old fashion barber shop. You know, the one with the spinning pole outside. I finally gave it a shot and been going there ever since. The owner is friendly, does a great job, in and out in 15 – 20 minutes and unbeatable prices.
I highly recommended

You can’t go wrong for $ 5. Ash is great with my kids, and does a great job for $ 5. I look forward to going because I know I can be in and out in less then 15 min most times, and I can get myself and 3 kids cut for $ 20 plus tip. You can’t get that anywhere else, especially in this day and age!

Been here four separate times, each time both mona and her mother have been abrasive and unfriendly.

— Unfriendly, unprofessional, rude and uncourteous hairdressers.
— Atmosphere is a little weird, pet cat runs around, constantly playing Indian soaps.
— Came here once for a haircut on a weekend and had to wait a ridiculous amount of time (trust me this is not worth your time)
— Came here looking for a haircut for my 11 year old daughter last week and was turned away b/​c they did not want to take the time to shampoo her hair. Imagine that a beauty salon who does not want to shampoo a child’s hair.
If your looking for a cheap haircut with a rude and unfriendly demeanor. this is the place for you! Probably better off paying a few bucks more and at least get a smile with your haircut at other discount haircut places.

$ 5 dollar hair cuts! There is no place in the area that can even compare to the quality of the haircut and overall value. Mona and her mom are very nice and always take their time to ensure my hair is perfectly cut the way I like it. There is usually a line (especially on Sundays), though it gives me the opportunity to catch up on my Indian soap operas & music videos. Also there is a house cat who randomly hangs around, so beware — he’s pretty ferocious.
They are closed on Mondays so keep that in mind. No need to schedule an appointment either.
