I really had the most amazing experience with Sandy. I got x2 bronze star medals framed and she was so helpful with the frame/​mat selection and provided a lot of suggestions for color choice and matching. The end result was even better. She really did an amazing job and I was so happy with her work. The price was HALF of what I was quoted from other local framing stores for the same work. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for expert custom framing, truly a great experience for such a special item. Thank you Sandy!

I was referred to Sandy at The Great Frame Up from Image Specialties in Glenview, which we have done business with for over 30 years and has done an AMAZING job with every we have asked of them. When I needed something they could not do, I was referred to Sandy. I was told there was no one better and no one better for the price. I could not agree more! I need a shadow box sports memorial thing done for my boyfriend and myself. Sandy did the most INCREDIBLE JOB! It always a good sign when you pick up your final project and COMPLETE strangers are coming up to you and asking you if they may see it and are «ohhing» and «awwing» over it! I was receiving compliments from strangers in the stores for how great it looked.
I had a couple of pictures, ticket stubs, 2 signed pucks, and print out stats of the game. Sandy’s vision capture exactly how our night felt. Technically this is a gift for my boyfriend, but really it is gift for me, too! Anyone that wants quality work done, you need to go to Sandy!

Can you be any less friendly, I think it’s not possible. I needed to find some hooks, I thought this place may sell them. So I walked in, and said hello… My first impression is that I was interrupting something. Perhaps she was framing something, whatever was going on I felt like I shouldn’t have of walked in.
So I awkwardly ask about the hooks, no dice I was told no we don’t sell them, you need to go to a hardware store.
I get it, it’s not something you normally sell, however if you were being smart you could have sold me a few and I would have thought, how nice of you to help, I’ll bring you some stuff to frame for me. It’s called going the extra mile, well maybe just the extra inch actually.
As someone that owns a business, we’ve done little things to help out, some of these little gestures have ended up building wonderful customer relationships, and some not. At the end of the day they did give you a good feeling.
