It’s a liquor store… no better, no worse than a million others. Annoying that their ad still reads 9AM Saturday opening when in fact, they now open at 11AM. Irritating when one grocery shops in Groton early and passes other package stores in order to shop a local business. Now I have to make a second trip out which I had not planned on!

Situated right before the BYOB Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough, stop here to pick up your adult bevvies. Nice selection of local beers. I grabbed a six of Pacifico and was on my way. GREAT customer service.

I’m pretty certain they’re the only liquor store in the village. And since the lobster joints here are all BYOB Universal is your go-to if you forgot your booze & are planning on imbibing while eating your lobster roll.
For a small store they have a good beer selection. You can find some New England Brewing Co stuff & other CT breweries too. Of course there’s the macro crap too but I like seeing Maine Beer Co & Narragansett being available too. Service is friendly. I didn’t want to buy a 6 pack so the owner just popped off 1 can for me.
Even if they weren’t the only liquor store in Noank they still deserve 4 stars for the helpful owners & selection especially considering their size.
