Love Sunrise Café! It’s everything you think of when you think of what a local diner should be. Sunrise is small inside and usually pretty busy. It may take a few minutes for a table to open up or a couple of seats at the counter(but, to me, that’s part of the fun of eating at a diner). All of their breads are freshly made and you can actually see the bakers preparing the goods for the day while you wait for your breakfast. The jelly is homemade and so very good! Every time my husband and I have eaten at Sunrise we look forward to our next visit. We often dream about how nice it would be to be able to go for a leisurely breakfast every morning, but then real life gets in our way. :) Bonus for the crispy hash browns, yummy biscuits and gravy, and perfectly cooked over-easy eggs! After breakfast, it’s always nice to walk around and enjoy the very cute downtown Noblesville.

When I found this gem on my visit, I came here every morning for breakfast. I was in town on business and had an early start each day. It was a quaint little café diner located in a postcard town square. The food was excellent. All the breads are fresh baked. Each day I had their raisin toast with a glaze… to me, it was OMG. My only complaint would be it was a bit overpriced for a breakfast spot but I really enjoyed it. My average bill was $ 15.

The food was really good. I ordered the Silver dollar pancakes, bacon, and egg. The cost was good. The atmosphere had the old small diner feel. Do it!

This historic building in the quiet downtown Noblesville is constantly full of walk-ins and regulars. When I say«full» I am not exaggerating, the floor space is tiny so they pack you in. Don’t come with a group, you’ll be squished if you sit at all. Though the Uptown Café name stays the same, new businesses seem to come and go inside. I’ve been here under different owners, and this experience was better than my last. Customer service has improved. I was seated promptly at a clean table, waited in quickly with a smile and our food was out promptly. Friendly, fast service is a winner in my book. The food is so-so. With all the great dining options on the square, it isn’t hard to understand why this one doesn’t get me excited. They’ve got breakfast and lunch foods, so I got a burger. Of course. The patties were cooked well and served on Hawaiian bread(yum!) but the cheese and condiments tasted cheap and took away from the experience. They also don’t have fries, no biggie, just weird. The breakfast food I stole from my wife’s plate was better than the burger but nothing I’d crave. One thing I regret: if you go upstairs to the bathroom, there’s a tall, white bookcase on the wall. No books, but the end is on hinges. I didn’t have the guts to open it. I’m so ashamed. Please somebody, open the secret wall. Let me know what’s behind that mystery wall!!!

Staff likes to stand around up front and gossip instead of paying attention to the tables. Lots of things being heated in the microwave(sausage gravy) as you can hear the microwave door opening and slamming shut in kitchen. The EGGSBENEDICT, does not have Canadian bacon or asparagus therefore it is not eggs benedict. The hollandaise is made from a mix as it had powdery lumps still in it. For a small place their attention to detail in service and food quality is lacking. Price too high for the quality and service, shame, could be fixed with care and effort. No reason to return, go to «THEROOST» and learn guys then go back and put it into practice.

I was disappointed with this breakfast it was tiny and under seasoned. I sat at the counter on a slow morning and even though staff wasn’t up to much my coffee didn’t get filled and it took awhile for them to even come to my table.

From the moment I walked in the front door, I knew this was my kind of place! I felt like I stepped back in time as I entered this small town diner. I sat at the bar, and the service was exceptional & friendly! The presentation of the food was picturesque, and the food tasted even better than it looked. The poached eggs on my Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, and the crispy, golden brown hash browns were the bomb! There were so many things I’d like to try next time, so I’ll have to go back soon! This place is a hidden gem in Hamilton County and far better than that more popular poker-themed breakfast restaurant not far away. Do yourselves a favor and have a big breakfast here, but don’t make any plans for lunch!

Perfect father-daughter brunch location. Luckily we were only dining with two, or it would have been a lengthy wait. Maximum capacity is 46, so I would avoid group dining at all costs. The seating is snug, but that’s all part of the retro diner charm. Dad and I sat at the bar and were mesmerized by the cook working at the griddle in front of us. Dying to try the eggs Benedict we watched him make next time! The staff was very friendly and worked together to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Uptown may have the fluffiest biscuits I’ve ever had. Biscuits and gravy are a must and the coffee is great.

What a find! Warm and homey. Started With a right from the oven, dripping with icing, big enough to share cinnamon roll! I had the corn beef hash bowl and my hubby had the eggs, hash browns, sausage gravy with two of the fluffiest biscuits ever. Why are you not here?

I wanted to go out for breakfast and we are new to the area. So, we took a stab with this place. We loved the atmosphere(it reminded me of a small town version of a NYC diner). First thing we tasted was the coffee. Amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy, he had the breakfast burrito and we each got a side of toast. We both left happy. We would recommend this to others. And we will be back.

Ate here for breakfast this morning and it was exactly what I needed, but it had its shortcomings. It’s an adorable diner sitting right on the square in Noblesville. Not exactly the friendliest of staff, and I’m a stickler about friendly customer service. We weren’t greeted upon entering, so we asked the cook if we could sit anywhere, to which he smiled and said«yes». One girl walked up and said, «What do you guys want to drink?» Again, no greeting. We both ordered coffee and water and she went on her away. Another girl brought us the drinks and said she would give us a few minutes to look at the menu. I guess this girl was actually our server, but we wouldn’t know. As a disclaimer, they did seem very nice. I’m a little hard to please as I was a server for several years, so I’m picky. After a few minutes, she came back to take our order. I ordered the create-your-own breakfast bowl with hash browns, sausage, American cheese, and two sunny-side-up eggs. My boyfriend ordered a combo that came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage. Let me just say, the food AND the coffee were phenomenal! Overall, I did really like this place. The reason I am giving it four stars is because we were new to this spot and didn’t feel too warmly-welcomed. Also, it is waaaaaay overpriced. We ended up paying $ 30 including tip. For breakfast. That’s way too much in my book. We probably won’t return unless we have a coupon.

Cute diner on the square in downtown Noblesville. Awesome options with the new«cowboy» in it. I had the cowboy benadict. It was awesome but it was a bit of a contradiction… it made me think of a cowboy turncoat. Like all the sudden John Wayne started fighting in Santa Anna’s side. Once my plate came out though my mind was put at ease. Well prepared food made with love by a big bald white guy overflowed from my plate. Would eat here again even though they had gluten free options.

It’s all about the breakfast food. The hash browns are crispy, the eggs are perfect, and the bacon always satisfies. Be prepared for a wait on the weekends, because this local favorite often has people waiting to be seated at the door. The ladies who serve here always have a smile and good conversations. Plus, food gets out quickly. You can go as light as eggs florentine or as heavy as biscuits and gravy. A fatty judges not the food set in front of him. But seriously, biscuits and gravy: at least snatch a bite from a friend. If you find yourself in Noblesville for an morning/afternoon event and the mood for breakfast strikes, Uptown is calling.

Pleasantly surprised! I came here for lunch during a business trip from LA and wanted to avoid chain restaurants. I ordered the chicken taco salad and it was awesome. The marinade seems like a mustard based sauce and was great! I hadn’t ever had anything like it before. Then I ordered a cinnamon roll for dessert and that was delicious! Even if you just come for a cinnamon roll, this place is worth it.

Little corner diner with a small cozy atmosphere. Lots of history in the resturant. Friendly staff with a menu that covers the breakfast options and a more limited lunch selection. They have a small but meaningful GF menu so I appreciate the effort. A little on the $$$ side. Nice option for downtown Noblesville.

I ordered the silver dollar hotcakes and sausage. The pancakes tasted as if they were made from scratch. So light and fluffy. They were delectably perfect. The flat breakfast sausage was some of the most flavorful I’ve had in years. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything stellar, but I was nicely surprised. I was actually having a bad morning, but this made me feel a lot better! I Service was good. The only thing I didn’t like was that if you want order 1 extra ingredient for a breakfast bowl, it automatically becomes a build your own, which is way more expensive, vs them just charging you for the extra ingredient. Despite this, I will be back!

What a cute hometown retro greasy spoon diner sorta place! Came on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated in a cozy nook of a booth for two right by the front window. This is the perfect spot to look out and view the town square while enjoying a cup of coffee. Sit here! Everything at Uptown is made from scratch including the hollandaise sauce, jams, breads, quiche, biscuits, English muffins etc.(all the good stuff)! We were brunching on a Sunday and they had me at homemade hollandaise — Eggs Benedict it is! I ordered the half portion and thoroughly enjoyed the«your choice» of a side dish accompaniment: 2 pancakes, hash browns, fruit cup, toast, grape salad, and apple sauce were a few of the options to pick from. Within ten minutes I was presented with a perfect portion of heavenly eggs benedict and a side of hash browns. All I have to say about the hollandaise is DON’T SHARE once your dining partner learns how good that sauce is they will be forking your plate for more. You have been warned! Other things I appreciate about this place is they offer gluten free options including gluten free bread(this is the only bread that isn’t homemade here), the stained glass window panes(a little character goes a long way), friendly service, and Uptown is very reasonably priced. Our bill was $ 22 for two — two meals & two bottomless coffees.

Came here with my family for an early morning breakfast. My mom had been telling me that it’s her new favorite breakfast spot in Noblesville. After going there, I can totally understand why. Their breakfast menu is stacked. I love breakfast. It is my vice. I could eat it for every meal. Easily. Uptown has this Americana feeling to it that makes decision making sooo difficult. I ended up choosing the veggie quiche of the day with gluten-free cinnamon toast. Spoiler alert — when you order the quiche, they give you ¼ of a quiche. I didn’t even pretend I could eat that much, so I split it into thirds. I also got a taste of the eggs florentine, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash breakfast bowl. Everything was better than the next. Sunrise Café has really transformed Uptown into a lovely spot in the Noblesville Square. Stop by if you’ve got the chance to, or just take a detour up here. Worth it.
