I love the Blushing Berry. It’s awesome to have such a special place in Nolensville. They serve homemade donuts every other Saturday(but get there early because sometimes they sell out). They also have handmade chocolates and seasonal treats. In fact, I’m pretty sure this was my one one stop shop for Easter last year — they sold me the basket and all.

I rarely get down to Nolensville while Blushing Berry is open but I just so happened to be down there during business hours last week. We walked in not knowing what to expect and were promptly greeted by the owner. He had a small display counter of fresh truffles and a few packaged truffles on shelves around the small store. I decided to go with a hazelnut truffle and my husband got the chili pepper truffle and the whiskey or bourbon truffle, we ate it so fast we can’t remember what alcohol was in it! We also got to sample a batch of beer caramels he was working on, which were pretty spectacular! My truffle was gone in a second, very smooth and delicious! I tried the chili pepper truffle and it definitely had some heat to it but not in an overpowering way, it was really good! We chatted with the owner for a few minutes and learned about his small but budding business! Great place with great truffles! I need to get back down there when he does donuts!

One of my best friends gave out Taste of Nashville giftbags to her wedding guests and Blushing Berry Chocolates made the cut(Nolensville, technically). There was an adorable 2“x2″ gift box with 4 of Blushing Berries Truffles. We had the pleasure of tasting the Raspberry Truffle, Salted Caramel Truffle, Bourbon Pecan Truffle, and the Hazlenut Truffle. My favorites were the Salted Caramel(winner, winner, chicken dinner) and the Raspberry Truffle. For me, the Raspberry would be a star if the center were a delightful raspberry purée and not a purée mixed in with ganache. The Bourbon Pecan was nice and a good tie nearly with the Raspberry. Last, was the Hazelnut. I love hazelnut, but maybe my preference for this one had more to do with it being a milk chocolate truffle and I’m a dark chocolate lover. All in all, very nice chocolates. I could buy the Salted Caramel in bulk. Looking at the website, I’d love to get the Amaretto, Espresso, and Vanilla Cream Truffles. Hopefully, I can pop in the shop soon.

Cute little place. Solid selection of truffles– about 10 different kinds when I went in. I tried the Bourbon Pecan and he threw in a chili chocolate after sensing my hesitation regarding the heat. Both were great(not too hot and VERY bourbon-y!) Met the owner and got to chat about his business. Super nice guy. He let us try some beer/maple caramels he was experimenting with but wasn’t ready to sell yet(I think they’re ready!) He’s running a one man show so hours can be spotty but definitely stop in if he’s open! You can also get his treats at Arrington Vineyards, Whole Foods and a couple of other places around town!

Absolutely fantastic! The Chili pepper truffle was to die for. Also the salted caramel, Milk chocolate and Amaretto are extremely notable. The location is a little out of the way, but it is definitely worth the trek. A place like this in downtown would be a smash hit. The prices are not really cheap at $ 2 per truffle; however it is competitive against a place like Godiva and absolutely 100% way better. This has definitely been added to my once a month list :)
