Great place to grab a burger, the view is great, service is very friendly. Love Bob’s big boy

I would give zero stars if I could, the steak here has absolutely no flavor was over cooked then when I showed the server she talked to manager and got a new steak once I received the new steak it was literally raw and heard the cook yelling at the waitress that the steak is too thin of meat and hard to cook. The manager did not even care that we were not able to even eat our dinner yet still wanted to charge us. Never again will I come back!!!

We were really disappointed when the Diamond Bar location closed. After finding out this location we decided to try it out the food was amazing the place was extremely clean and after talking to one of the hostess a lot of the Diamond Bar folks who used to work there now I work at that location. If you’ve never been here you should totally try the big boy cheese burger and a chocolate milkshake

Took my sister to Bob’s Big Boy on Sunday Feb 21^st because she wanted breakfast, and we used to come here a year ago to enjoy the breakfast buffet. After the large blonde hostess stood ten feet away and ignored us for five minutes, we were finally seated. We advised the hostess we wanted the buffet and didn’t need menus, and she nodded gruffly and took us to our seats. Only then did we realize the buffet was over. She didn’t even bother to mention that even though we expressly told her why we were there. We left and went elsewhere. She watched us go and didn’t say a word. Just a thoroughly unpleasant woman who shouldn’t be dealing with customers.

As always bobs big boy never fails. The chili size is always so comforting. Cheese hot patty cooked to perfection and the chili is always on point! Can’t forget about the Bob’s blue cheese one of my favorite dressings since I was a kid.

We loved going to Bob’s again. Hadn’t seen one in years. The food and service were great. WIll be back when in Norco again!

For a burger joint, its what you’d expect. The burgers and food aren’t to bad so I cant complain about that.
My only complaints are the veggies at the salad bar. I have seen lettuce that looks brown and slimy and tomatoes that have started to wrinkle. Not very appetizing. So, if you want a decent burger or a great salad, I suggest you go down 6^th to Rodeo Burger.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for the Hot Fudge Cake. He had never had it. We had an appetizer platter first and it was delicious. Our waitress wasnt all that friendly, she led us to a both to a booth with about a 4 inch hole in the seat. She then didnt say anything but pointed, with the menu in her hand to where she wanted us to sit. I would have given a 5 rating if it wasnt for the rude waitress.

visited bobs last week not sure why service was good, food was horrible.
while people watching I personally watched the manager or owner a asian man walk up to the table call another person over to clean it he then picked the tip up put it in his pocket like it was his and went on to the next one. watch your tips you leave for your waitresses

Great place to have a wonderful basic meal in a quiet setting. Excellent food quality and attentive service from staff. Will be back again.

Alright who doesn’t have great memories about Bob’s Big Boy from their childhood with those giant metal cans of milkshakes on the side of their milkshake because they simply made too much to fit in your glass? Let alone a burger and fries to go with it… and if you got to sit at the counter… Heaven for an elementary schooler…
Hell my Munchkin was loving all of the above. We stopped here after being hungry and car shopping recently and she was like daddy we have to stop there because they have milkshakes! I acquiesced because of all of those outstanding childhood memories and at the very least, I wanted to give her one of those memories too. At least that part succeeded. She would rate this place as a 15 star if she could.
However being a bit more discerning and realistic, I was unswayed by the milkshake into believing the experience was outstanding.
The staff was hit and miss and a menagerie of the ridiculous. We sat at the counter next to the kitchen and most of the waitresses were huddle up near us and we could here them gossiping and talking shit the entire time we were there. Some stuff was about the customers (regulars and currently seated folks) and some was about significant others or other staff members. Sooooo professional! One girl was glued to her phone texting so fast I thought the phone and her thumbs would catch on fire everytime the manager left the area…
So I have to admit I LOVED the milkshake and would agree it was a 5star worthy item. However the grub was really sad and seemed to be almost all frozen style ingredients. The burger itself was mediocre. The fries were wilting and bleh. The salad was even a bit wilted as well. What is kinda humorous is if you order the side salad, they will likely give you fries as well as the chef’s always put fries with a burger even if you don’t ask for them… *SMH* yay for free bleh… do you feel my enthusiasm? hooray!
The munchkin pecked at her food but polished off the shake in record time. I couldn’t finish my shake so I gave a bunch to the munchkin who absolutely was in heaven about that. So yeah, come here for the shakes, the rest, including the service… is not what I would be interested in going through again…

Chili Spaghetti run… about to try it for the first because I’m told it’s the biz-​ness! Now I’ve got lunch/​early din-​din.

My wife and I had lunch here today. We had a great experience! Christina is awesome! I was surprised to hear that she has worked at Bob’s Big Boy since this location opened. I hope they treat their employees right because she is a treasure. The restaurant was clean and cheerful. The buffet was well stocked with excellent choices. And I got my usual Big Boy combo and it was scrumptious! If you choose to eat here or just want to see a happy face stop on in and say hi to Christina!

We’ve eaten here for several years, and it’s always been pretty good. This last visit though was really disappointing on a number of levels.
Arrived around dinner time, place was about 30% full. Seated quickly. We noticed a really funky smell, that weird cafeteria /​dirty water smell that you get from some industrial kitchens. Not appetizing.
There were several flies buzzing around. I know this can’t be helped sometimes, but this is the first time they’ve been a problem at Bob’s, and coupled with the funk, really brought my wife down.
My burger was pretty good, no complaints. The fries were half cooked and floppy, another thing that has never been a problem here. The fries are usually really good. Not sure how the hell that happened.
My wife got the salad bar, and was ok with it until she noticed another dead fly perched on top of a Jello dessert. That was enough for us, we got the check and bailed.
I’m hoping that this visit was anomaly and we’ll try again, but my opinion of Bob’s was definitely affected.

As I remember, it was great. It’s been decades since I patronized a Bob’s Big Boy, so today was a treat.
Burger was tasty and well priced.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was clean and well supplied.
I’ll visit again when I’m in the area.

We had breakfast here this morning because my son had loved the buffet in the past. What a disappointment. None of the fruit looked fresh and it tasted as bad as it looked. The scrambled eggs were cold and rubbery. The bagels were hard.
Only pro: The service was terrific!

I was surprised and happy to stumble upon this. Big Boy wears a cowboy hat in Norco! If it wasn’t 100 miles a way I’d go twice a month. Chili spaghetti. Nuf said.

I must say that I was extremely disappointed with Bob’s Big Boy burgers.
First off the service was not good. There might have been only 5 tables full and I saw a full staff but only 1 lady serving the 5 tables. It took about 5min to get seated and an additional 10min just to put our order in.
I originally wanted a burger but then after looking at the burger pictures on the menu, I thought it doesn’t look too great so I ordered fish and chips instead. Bad choice. Tasted like it came from a frozen dinner box.
My parter ordered the big burger and wasn’t impressed.
Although we did try the dessert and loved it. We got the warm «apple pie a la mode» with ice cream. That was delicious and the only reason why this place even gets 1 star.
And not to mention this place is pricey. Eat here at your own risk.

Wow I forgot how good Bob’s big boy it was. At least this is a really good one because some of them suck sorry to use that word but that’s just a plain fact. The service provided by Christian was excellent he just seem to appear out of nowhere with the right things at the right time I didn’t even have to ask for napkins the kid is really on point. Apple pie à la mode Bob’s famous blue cheese salad geez what an awesome meal highly recommend it. this is like the old Bob’s big boy used to be simply spectacular at an excellent price. Even the manager came by and asked me how I was doing and created a little Smalltalk leave me some history on Bob’s. He’s is really cool…
The bathrooms were clean, smelled good, prices were excellent especially considering what you’re getting. what more can I say except for I wish this Bob’s was closer to where I live.

My sister and I stopped in here for a quick lunch and we loved it. It’s typical diner food but delicious. Our waitress was super kind, helpful, and fast! She kept refilling our waters and mad accommodations for my special order. I was able to get a veggie patty with any of their burgers and went with the BBQ one. The highlight for me was the pickle fries. For $ 1 you can get half regular fries and half pickle fries with your burger. It’s a great deal so you can try the fries but they are kind of heavy after a little so it’s perfect to have the regular fries to switch back to. Perfect combo with the half and half. The pickle fries are sooo worth a try!
The soup and salad buffet looked great but we had to eat fast since we had somewhere to be, or else we probably would of tried that.
The décor is so American diner inside and it’s fun seeing all the different customers who frequent the place. If I drive by this place again I wouldn’t pass it up!
