What happened?! We’ve been here two more times since my first because its a pretty convenient stop on the way to Vegas which we head to at least 4 times a year for sporting events alone and I waited to update my review in case there was some fluke in service but no, it seems since my first time here, not only has the quality in taste and appearance of the food diminished but so has the service. The food is just thrown together and it takes forever to even get water. The last two times we stopped in on a Friday just after 5am, could just be that particular shift but no matter, customer service and food quality should be first –always. Two stars because our server was polite. Sorry Denny’s but I hope you guys get it together.

The apple crisp is heavenly! We had originally gone to the Denny’s off Limonite but they had ran out so we headed here. Nichole greeted us and was also our server, she was attentive and friendly. Well be coming back here.

Upon arriving, we were not greeted for approximately 5 minutes, then an older frumpy woman shuffled her way to the front to get us seated. When she got us to our table, she tossed the menus and silverware onto the table and said«enjoy». She then came back about ten minutes later and took our drink order, simple, two coffees. She told us «your server will be with you shortly.» After waiting for about 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us, my husband and I were carefully watching the older woman. She was clearly the manager or supervisor on shift and did absolutely nothing to help the ONEANDONLY server on the floor. We still had not been helped so my husband and I decided to leave. We walked to the front and left $ 5 for the coffee and said we were leaving. The woman then followed us out to our car and told us we could come back in because she felt bad. She then told us that a server called off and the one there was the only one working. Again, the woman was doing nothing to help this server on shift. We shouldn’t have had to wait 30 minutes to order our breakfast. By far a horrible service experience.

I’m not surprised this pace has a 2 ½ star rating. There management is rude and some of their staff as well… I did talk to a manager by the name of Fernando the following day, he was nice and offered to resolve the issue.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I stood at the counter right in front of the guy taking down names for almost 10 mins and not once did he even acknowledge me. I said excuse me like 3 times and he just ignored me. I’ve been here plenty of times before and never has it been this bad

This review is for my last 3 visits on 9⁄28 and 9/29…Here is the good, the bad and the ugly: 1. Excellent poached eggs with perfectly cooked runny yolks and firm whites! 2. One English muffin perfectly cooked and one hard as a hockey puck. Why? The chef could see one pair of them was ugly and should never have been put on the plate. Lazy and ambivalent to the customer. 3. Yummy California Club, but at over $ 10 it is way over priced, as is the outrageous $ 1.99 for ONE egg that costs them 15 cents! 4. Blah bagged salad with ugly yellow lettuce cores in it that no one wants to eat… And, in the club sandwich, brown and ugly avocado that was beyond its use date. WHY put it on a sandwich when you can clearly see it is not fresh? Lazy chef. Who hires this guy? 5. Excellent service from the always friendly Jasmine, but bored and spaced out service from male wearing an orange tee shirt. He acts like a walking zombie. Did he not get enough sleep, or is it just his normal demeanor? 6. Whose genius idea was it to install the claw machines that just manage to suck up parents’ quarters when the kiddies start pestering them for what is inside. Take them AWAY!!! As usual, this location(and the one on 6th Street) face a lot of challenges and thus BOTH have a pretty dismal 2.5-star Unilocal Rating. The problem is, that there is nothing local that is open 24 hours, so when you have a monopoly, there is little reason for them to ever change, as they have a captive audience and they don’t really seem to want to change, as it has been the same way here for 15+ years I have been coming…

long story short: service sucked and the kitchenware was dirty. Not to mention a sheer lack of enthusiasm and care for the customers. We didn’t really have a waiter either… just bus boys taking orders

The service here can vary from really good to so so. The food is good, but if you end up with a bad server it can ruin tour experience. I’ve been coming here for years though because overall my experiences have been good. They’re also a good place for large groups.

Was seated at a booth by window. My bf said look at the table by sugar and condiments there were dead ants. When I looked at window seal there was tons of them all down the row of windows live ones. My boyfriend and I choose to move ourselves to another booth away from windows. I asked a server to speak to manager about ants. Server said ooh ya we have tried to rid them with windex etc. Manager came over and I told him he had an ant problem he said I know I called pest control ! This is gross and not acceptable ! So they still kept seating other customers in the area ! Will never go back to that location !!!

Had a good experience here. Came with my boss and coworkers on a Wednesday morning for breakfast. The restaurant was pretty quiet so we were able to eat and have our mini conference meeting. I ordered the invisible woman(which is a new addition to their menu) it came with eggs hash browns bacon and blueberry pancakes with strawberries and bananas on top. The eggs were cooked over easy and the hash browns were fried perfectly. The blueberry pancakes with strawberries and bananas on top were sooooooo good!!! Like I would want yo order those alone because they were delicious!

Good food but the best about this location is the staff. Friendly service and they make you feel welcome.

DONOTEVERWASTEYOURMONEYANDEATHERE!!! Over the weekend, me and my boyfriend ate breakfast here and first thing, our service was horrible. they had buss boys seating guests and taking orders?! our waitress probably said 10 words to us in total. «you ready?» were her words when she was taking our order. I don’t know if it was a lack of English skills or her not caring about her job. however, at the table next to us was her holding 5+ minute conversations in Spanish with the Hispanic family seated there. the next day, my boyfriend became very ill. and we knew right away it was food poisoning. but we had ordered the same thing? sure enough a few hours later while I was getting ready for work I started to feel the symptoms. so now we have to deal with this food poisoning while going about our full time jobs. later that day, I was talking to my friend who used to work at this dennys location, and she informed me that the cooks do not clean their stations properly because they are too lazy, and their management doesn’t give a shit about their employees or their customers. NEVERAGAINWILL I GOHERE! –UPDATE– I gave this dennys a call. and first, I asked for the manager. the lady on the phone asked«who is asking… where I am from… and so on» I told her why I was calling and she set down the phone, not knowing that I could hear her and the managers conversation. the manager had told her to tell me that he was in a meeting, so she did. I called back later and a female manager came to the phone. I told her my reason for calling and she ACCUSEDMEOFLYING! «are you sure you have food poisoning?.. was it from something else you ate… do you have a doctors note?» after her interrupting me and arguing with me, I finally gave up. she took my name, phone number,(and address for some reason?) and told me she would give my info to corporate. which I’m sure won’t happen. I’ve been waiting for a phone call from«corporate» but I’m sure my information was never handed over to them.

Me and my fiancé were in the mood for Denny’s breakfast. i know Sunday mornings are busy but the craving got the best of us. we were sat after a 10 – 15 minute wait. but my server was nowhere to be found. a young man by the name if Ricky D. to be exact saw the helpless look on my face, and as We were about to leave and hit IHOP he approached my table in a respectful manner and explain that the server was busy and was gonna take care of us. he took our drink orders and some how persuaded us to take interest in an appetizer. this guy sold me something ididnt even think about buying and let me get this right, he was just a busser?! he made our breakfast experience satisfying when it was almost cut short due to lack of attention. i believe he deserves some kind of promotion. peace

My mom, my sister, and I decided to go out for a nice little breakfast while I was down visiting them. We don’t expect Denny’s to be, you know, gourmet or anything… but at least you know what you’re getting. It’s standard, it’s relatively cheap, and it tastes pretty okay. However, we never even got to the food portion of the experience. Our server, I didn’t catch her name(but I don’t like calling people out by their name in public anyway), came to the table with a very clear«Dammit, I have to work now» attitude. I know this attitude well, because I also have to work sometimes. The difference is that I can put my personal feelings toward mundane tasks aside when I’m getting paid to do a job. So, here we were being greeted by the world’s least enthusiastic waitress… And I made the mistake of asking what kind of teas they had. Why was this a mistake? Several reasons. Firstly, why would I even bother? It’s Denny’s. I know what kind of tea they have. Plain black. Which is completely and utterly fine. If I wanted super fancy tea and super fancy options, I would go somewhere that *wasn’t* Denny’s. So, in this way, the rest of what happened was actually my fault. The server evidently had some kind of PTSD flashback to when she was smuggling tea past enemy barricades, because something about my line of questioning set her off. She went from being clearly unhappy, to outright rude. She didn’t want to explain the different teas they had, and then begrudgingly did. My mother and I asked for black tea, and when she brought us herbal, I wanted to politely explain that it wasn’t what we’d asked for… But she insisted that it was. Listen, I do often make claims to knowing a bit about tea, but one needed only to know how to *read* to see that what she had handed me was herbal tea. She still insisted that it was black tea. I was in the middle of trying to find the words to tell her that black tea and herbal tea are two completely different things when she cut me off, grabbed my menu, and told me that she would show me the other one. She stalked off before I could say anything else. I looked around at my mom and sister, and they were staring a bit wide eyed at me and, probably I think, at the situation. Honestly, it’s rare to get this level of rudeness from someone for absolutely no reason at all. She came back with the black tea and hadn’t given me or my mother the milk we’d also initially asked for, and my sister hadn’t received a straw for her shake. When we realized we were literally too intimidated to ask for these things, we decided it was time to leave. It’ll be a cold tea in hell before I pay to have someone repeatedly be rude to me and my family while simultaneously messing our order up. We didn’t tell the manager she had been rude, because maybe she had been having a bad day, and I’m just not that kind of person, but I’ll never go back here again. But whatever. We ended up at a different Denny’s with a much nicer server. So, no real harm done.

Dear Loyal Unilocalers, Why I suggest you should avoid this location: Patiently waited for at least 30 minutes for my sirloin steak plate — cooked medium. When they finally brought my plate out, the meat was well done, the cheese was baked on the mash potatoes with dried up steak juice all over the plate. It was very obvious that it was sitting under a hot lamp for a while. I kindly let my server know, who agreed and offered to send it back. I declined since the wait was so long and I was famished. She sent the manager, who also only offered to send it back — I still declined; however, even knowing that I was not pleased with the service and food when she rang me up, NEVER did she once offer any free dessert or discount a portion of our check. Before swiping my card, she even had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip on my bill and still, I politely declined. In addition to the long wait, my well done dried up steak plate and the lack of hospitality & customer service skills the manager had, we also noticed the following but did not get a chance to complain about: *Garden salad had brown edges on its lettuce *Fresh cucumbers were not crisp and had transparent edges *Fresh celery had ragged edges– had to cut them off ourselves *Raw baby carrots were cracked *Ranch dressing was watered down *The kids menu my daughter received was already colored on Yes, I’m being sincere. Thank you to this location for thee worse Denny’s experience I’ve had in my life… This is your«tip.»

We’ve been to different Denny’s before but this location is dark and gloomy. The décor is quite dated and saw some ants were walking on the wall and side of the table. For those who are not familiar with this location, there’s a front and side/back area. When we came, we were greeted and was guided immediately to seat at the back area near the entrance to the kitchen. I felt it was weird coz we weren’t asked our preference considering it wasn’t busy at all. Then another couple came in and they were seated in the front area — I was more confused to why we were seated at the back. Until a family came in and heard our server asked another server, is it my turn? And she walked them to the back area add well. I guess there were only two servers attending to customers and they decided to each serve a particular area for easy service — it makes to them I guess. Service was OK nothing special to note. Food came, I ordered the Tilapia Ranchero and I noticed my fish had markings that it was sticking on the pan while it was cooking maybe either there wasn’t enough oil or they were just using a sticking pan. My husband ordered their Build Your Own Sample Appetizer which I think was plated quite sloppy– they just placed the paper lining and threw everything on top. Food taste pretty good although my husband only ate halfway of each of his Quesadilla triangles coz the cheese wasn’t evenly spread. Leaving almost half way towards the edges with no cheese at all. Overall, I have them 3 stars. Will we come back? Probably not.

Service was very slow and they kept on either forgetting items or bringing items I didn’t order. It wasn’t busy so I can only imagine how the service is when it is. Thankfully I used a 20% coupon so that kind of made the service issue«ok». Not much to say about the food other than it’s Denny’s quality food. Nothing special, just regular«diner food».
