Growing up in the Corona area this tiny little drive thru called Miguel’s Jr was a favorite of family and friends. I never really ‘Loved’ it but I’ve been many times to help satisfy others cravings at the time. My least favorite is the refried beans, they’re just too creamy for me. Although the flavor is good, I like a lot more almost whole beans in my refried beans. Still today I don’t order anything with beans here. Recently, since they are in OC now and I’m still frequently with someone that loves Miguel’s, I have discovered a couple things I do love here. #1 the California Chile Burrito, basically a chile relleno burrito. #2 the chile verde marinated potatoes. You can get those in tacos, burritos and now even breakfast burritos. They are very different, soft, almost like they’ve been prepared to be mashed. They have a mild flavor that I’ve come to enjoy. Miguel’s flavors are different I would say. Not bad, different. It seems to evoke a love or hate emotion. Their hot sauce is good but probably not what you are thinking it should be if you’ve never been here? Give Miguel’s a try with no expectations and see what you think.

First time here and thought I would try it out. Looked at menu and it was lunch time, thought about a taco combo before going in. Prices were a bit high, 2 tacos, bean and rice with soda, $ 9 plus tax. I instead bought the garbage burrito. Picture looked good on display. Took it home and was not really enthused. Burrito was small, mostly all beans which had good flavor and a little chicken, rice and guac. Took home some green salsa, very mild and no heat and some pickled carrots, again, very tame. Not a place to come back to and better off at Sanchez down the street for better flavor and price.

I just had a pretty disappointing experience ordering food here. I have always loved their carne asada taco plate so I bought some to bring home. I started to eat and discovered that the meat was almost entirely pink! Although they were quick to give me my food, I would have much rather waited for COOKED food. I had to pick apart the tacos and cook the meat myself. Not the best experience…

Avoid!!! Extremely flavorless and extremely overpriced for«Mexican food» this is like a nice Taco Bell/del taco but atleast with Them it’s affordable reflecting what they serve you. And they both are way more tastier than this chain of GRINGO Mexican food. $ 5 tostada that was ALL lettuce. Well to be more precise (99%) lettuce (0.1%) chicken (0.3%)refried beans (0.3%) shredded cheese (0.3%) tostada shell $ 4.503 taquitos with shredded chicken Okay well they were better than those frozen Costco ones But… The fake guacamole. Really. It’s that fake weirdly textured sauce. Do yourself a favor and go to chipotle across the street that has higher quality items with real ingredients at the same price. Or go to a taqueria or real Mexican restaurant. Or even del taco and taco bell. How could I ever cheat on you del taco?;(

Nothing better than eating a hot chili Verde & potato and cheese burrito, on a cold rainy day. My hubby of almost 30yrs is mexican, so believe me when i say that i know a great burrito. I’ve been ordering this since my adult kids were in elementary school around the corner. They would make a special request for me to drop it off for them for lunch. Of course I would have to because that’s what us mom’s do :) Not exactly sure how great the chili verde be as a entrée because i know I’ve had better at other restaurants, but as a burrito, and combined with the large chunks of perfectly cooked potatoes and cheese, it’s delicious! Highly recommend it! Also their chicken & shredded beef tacos are yummy. The staff are always friendly too. Don’t get scared off if you see a long line in the drive thru. They have it moving quickly so your wait won’t be long. They also have a large clean dining room with a small outside patio. Huge parking lot and easy to jump back onto the 15 freeway.

They have very good burritos here. I really like the carne asada garbage burrito, yes they called there fully loaded burrito a garbage burrito. They have very good chile verde burritos here as well. The ingredients taste very fresh and so does the meat. It is much better then say Baja Fresh and slightly closer to being authentic.

I love Miguels Jr. my fave is the taquitos and their red sauce. Just a little disappointed that they forgot to give us red sauce on our to go order the last time that we went and we didn’t notice until we were home. It just wasn’t the same…

Not for VEGETARIANS. I was told several times over the years that the beans did not contain LARD. just recently while ordering the chile cheese tamales I was told they use meat broth in them and lard in the beans. THANKS A LOT I wrote Corp. on their website the following note and have not received a reply. I don’t think they care! «We have been a big fan of your restaurants, but we just found out that what we were told over the years by your various employees about your beans, tamales and other items is not true. They are not vegetarian. Is this correct? So I can’t eat there anymore because I’m vegetarian. I have purchased gift cards($ 120. Worth) and can’t use them. Can you give me a refund ? Thank you, « (Also, what’s that sewage smell in the parking lot! Not very appetizing.)

Soooo I was at my sisters in Corona and my friend that lives in corona has been raving about this place! I’m always craving a mean burrito so I decided to finally try it. Based on my review, I did not enjoy it. I got the garbage burrito with carne asada and my sister go the wet garbage burrito with chicken. We also got nachos with shredded beef. All the meat was sooo chewy and rubbery. It was not enjoyable. My sister also said the wet version of the garbage burrito was not good because it didn’t have lettuce and guacamole and the good stuff. But to be honest, even without it being wet, mine wasn’t good either. The carne asada was extremely chewy. The nachos were also pretty soggy and the beef smelled and was just gross! My fried also their red sauce was to die for, I didn’t find anything too special about it though. It wasn’t even super spicy! I went through the drive thru and the service was very fast! I got done ordering and getting my order within minutes. The employee was nice too and answered all my newbie questions. Needless to say, I won’t be back even though my friend swears he will bring me back one day. No thank you.

There was a cooked lady bug in my son’s chicken taco. The workers didn’t apologize and asked if we wanted another taco. I said no of course, I wanted my money back. I don’t think we will be returning.

I’ve been going to Miguel’s jr. for many many many many years since I grew up in Corona. I ordered the carne asada original burrito and of course it was good. Over time the burritos have gotten smaller and smaller I feel. If you would have ordered the same thing 5+ years ago the burritos would have seemed HUGE!!! If you are from corona you probably love Miguel’s and could probably eat it everyday. They have very good salsa that has good spice to it. If you are traveling through and would like quick Mexican food to go if recommend Miguel’s jr. Signing off, Bretzlaf

I am new to eastvale and I was looking for some decent taco shops and this place is actually quite good. The portions are small but I love the fact that they make their hot sauce fresh daily. Most other taco shops give me a stomach ache the next day if I put too much hot sauce. I had their cheese quesadilla but looking to go back to try more.

DONOTUSEYOURDEBITCARDHERE. I stopped here for lunch on May 6th. Today, May 15th, I was going through my bank account transactions and saw that not only was I charged on May 6th but I was also charged again on May 8th. Sure, it wasn’t a big amount but there’s no excuse to be double charged, especially days later. I reported this to my bank and requested a new debit card because I do not feel comfortable with this business having my information. I won’t be returning to Miguel’s Jr unless I have cash.

Go to a different location! This one has gone down hill… used to be good. Huge burritos and very cheap. But now burritos are small and taste bland. Ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito with extra cheese and only had one bite of cheese… all beans and rice. Disappointed to say the least. I LOVEMIGUEL’S JR. But this location can suck a fatty. Go to the original Miguel’s Jr down sixth street in Corona or the one off Ontario in Corona.
