I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant. I LOVE fish tacos!!! I assumed they specialized in fish tacos and offered mainly fish tacos(different varieties of fish tacos). There was only one type of fish taco. I was not very impressed with the fish tacos. They seemed a little bland, bitter and dry. Maybe it was just an isolated incident. There should also be a condiment bar with salsa, onions, cilantro, etc. in my opinion. The service was great though and the restaurant was clean.

I havent eaten at wahoos in probably over 10 years. But after reading Travis Barkers book, I was CRAVING fish tacos. So I ordered for pick up and after speaking with two different associates, my order was taken. I went to pick it up and he read my order(2 fish tacos) back to me, I paid and then left. When I got back home and half way through my first taco I thought to myself, «wow, this place has gone downhill… their fish takes like chicken, its extremely bland»… and then I realized they gave me the wrong order… chicken instead of fish. Normally I would give two stars for an experience like this, but when I called and told the cashier my situation, he was very apologetic and polite and offered me free FISH taco’s next time I come in. Mistakes happen, and I believe that true customer service is revealed in how mistakes are handled. And this place was great. So two stars for my experience and overall taste. And one star added for the customer service… Plus, Travis Barkers drums are on the ceiling for you to look at, which is pretty cool.

I like the easy going skater vibe and the customer service is always polite but the food is super bland. The fish could use some kind of kick or marinade. Their rice and beans are equally bland. I know they’re trying to be healthy but healthy shouldn’t be boring. Could benefit from offering a better assortment of salsas and pico de gallo. How about some Cholula Hot Sauce?

Wahoos does everything they can to ensure the customer has a good experience. My first time at this location was not good. The staff was rude and didn’t look me in the eyes. I felt like an intruder. Corporate made sure they were going to make up for this horrible experience. I have visited the restaurant 2 times to eat since the first incident. The food was never the problem. Unfortunately, it was the staff. The last 2 times I have visited I had nothing but a pleasant experience! The staff was friendly and SINCERE. I sensed a friendly family vibe both times… very refreshing! They talked to me like I was a family member and I appreciated that very much. I like how you order at the cashier and then they bring your food to you at the table. I like how they ask you if they can get you anything else. It’s such a good experience when restaurants do that instead of being forced to wander around the dining room looking for the napkins. I like their fish tacos!!! Their sodas are also really good as odd as that might sound. A few other restaurants have been to the soda tastes watered down… it tastes like club soda. NOTHERE. I have grown to be quite fond of this Wahoos location. I will return here weekly!!!

Vegetarian banzai bowl was what the person at the counter suggested to this first timer and I was not disappointed. Had the Fish as my meat option and although I would get it again it was a little on the dry side. Teriyaki sauce fixed the dryness problem. Will definitely be coming back.

This is my all time favorite spot to go to after class since it’s right up the street from my school I usually get the #2 with two tacos and a side of rice and beans but after I tried their spicy chicken enchiladas I can never go back! Their tacos are delish but their enchiladas are my absolute favorite! The staff is always so nice, very welcoming and attentive. Their churro chips are a hit or miss depending on who makes them I guess, but when they are made right they make a yummy sweet treat.

This location is the worst I’ve ever been to. Usually all Wahoo chains put out pretty consistent food, but food I had here was bland and my shrimp was too overcooked and tough. Even my fish tacos were flavorless and unseasoned Plus they served me ranch and Mexican ranch sauce that had a sour putrid smell and tasted overdue. Never eating here again

So that was what all the hype was about… Honestly I will come back, but I was just under the impression that I was about to enjoy me some out of this world fish tacos. The fish was a tad bit on the dry side… Does anyone know if the fish is previously frozen? Didn’t taste like it, but that might explain the dryness. The vibe is cool, the place was very clean. The workers extremely friendly and totally knowledgeable of the menu. Prices a reasonable. Like I said I will be back, and it’s mainly because of the brown rice and black beans. The tacos were good, but just not what I was hoping for!!! Oh and for sure on the plus side is that they were not fried fish tacos! We also tried the chips n salsa. Under 2 bucks and the salsa was very tasty, a little hot but it didn’t stop me! Chips seemed fresh n tasty.

WELOVEYOU, wahoos. Seriously if I could eat here everyday I would-oh wait, we do. I love their fresh ingredients! Everything is good. I swear! I personally love getting there number 2 combo plate with the citrus slaw and shrimp! My mouth is drooling thinking about it. So good! And you feel good after you eat it, weird! Also I recommend the outer reef burrito! So yummy! And that green sauce is super nice! Chips and salsa always a must. Always super friendly staff there constantly checking in and seeing if you need anything else. Always a good experience at wahoos. Thank you wahoos, me and my boyfriend appreciate you so very much!

Always good, fresh food and the people are friendly here. I stick with the salmon, either with rice or with the Kale Kai Salad-you can’t go wrong with those. This is the perfect place for lunch when I have a break during work days.

I’ve been coming to Wahoos for a number of years. The food is okay. Not great but good. The onion rings are great. Service is also very good. I will keep coming back..

The food wasn’t bad, but thats the reason for my rating. At around $ 9 a plate, I had passable but unseasoned beans, bland brown rice, and two ‘fish tacos’ that had 2 thin, short strips of fish in them. The tacos weren’t strongly flavored, but there was just enough cabbage and watery sauce in them that I barely could taste the fish. All in all, I’d pay a lot less for more food at any other place, and it’d likely taste better.

About average for tacos, sad to say. Was looking forward to it. Protein was dry and under seasoned. The taco toppings were good enough and the rice and beans were only moderately better. If you like to look at bumper stickers then great, but for good tacos, go somewhere else.

Oh how I miss Wahoos! I had a softball coach that loved this place, and our team would eat here almost every week. I remember ordering the cheese quesadilla and the tacos on different occasions, they were good every time! I love the ambiance at Wahoos, its beachy and casual. Another Unilocaler posted a picture of a salad with wild caught salmon– I will have to try that next time I’m in town!

I am obsessed with the bonsai burrito from Wahoos. The fusion of Asian flavors from the teriyaki grilled veggies with the Mexican spiced rice and beans is such an excellent combo. I have been here so many times and always get the same thing, grilled fish, brown rice, black beans and a side of their super tasty cilantro dressing, too good. Portions are pretty small which always tempts me to order two burritos, but its a nice change to not leave lunch super full and feeling weighed down the rest of the day. Service is great, its never too full and the food comes out quickly. Plenty of parking as well as in and outdoor seating.

I LOVE Wahoos and I always get the Maui bowl because it is the best thing they serve there. But my last bowl was disappointing. The meat in my bowl was definitely a lesser quality meat then usual and was very fatty. Also, package it like you plate it in your restaurant! I can’t always eat in so I take it home but would love it to be presented the same!

Great service! The food was amazing. My husband and I shared nachos and a maui bowl. The food was flavorful, juicy and right off the grill. Floors are clean and tables were cleaned as soon as somebody left. I give them an A+

Love the blackened fish taco’s… The green cilantro sauce goes perfect with them. Just wish they had locations out my way…
