Yummmm! This place never lets me down except one time they took forever getting my order but the food speaks for it self I come here all the time

Dropped in for a V-​Day snack around 4 p.m. and the place was in CHAOS! Totally out of control with no one knowing what was going on and 5 – 6 people running around with orders totally mixed up, and a 15-​minute wait for chicken. WHAT? This is supposed to be a fast food place and it was anything but. Everyone was yelling at each other and I saw NO ONE running the fryers… just front of the house people barking at each other…
And, because all the drive thru people hadn’t gotten their food, they had packed the parking lot so there was no room for walk-​in customers, who were equally pissed off about the slow service, confusion and wrong orders being given out. And, the young girl at the register was a total space cadet. I gave her my order 3 times and she simply couldn’t remember a thing!
Then, their receipt machine had been broken all day long so none of us got any receipts as to what we ordered or what we paid for… When I asked if the other register’s receipt machine was working, I was told «YES, but we can’t switch over in the middle of a shift.» WHAT? Customers need and want receipts and that is the only thing that matters. Why can’t management figure that one out?
In reality, I was totally turned off before I even walked into this location, as there was a Popeye’s employee sitting on the patio table puffing on a cigarette, spewing smoke all over the area making me want to puke before even entering the restaurant. Why would you hire anyone who is a chain smoker and who can’t be in helping out the chaos inside instead of sucking their life away 10 steps from the workplace. This should NEVER be allowed at any Popeyes or other fast food place. Second hand smoke is a disgusting matter and one which should be taken more seriously by managers/​owners and corporate. I’m sure they would not be happy with what is going on at this location. No wonder they have such a dismal Unilocal rating… And, I bet you $ 10 that that smoker did NOT bother to wash/​disinfect their hands after taking the smoke break… Yeck…I’m grossed out just thinking about a smoker preparing any of my meals…

For those who understand a 9:45 PM craving for chicken wings and biscuits, you will appreciate completely why I’m giving this Popeyes four stars. What solidifies the four stars, was my drive-​through attendant’s very helpful, patient, and accommodating attitude, when it came to helping me order precisely what I wanted.
Sometimes, when the craving for chicken wings hits you late at night, it can be very confusing during the desperation on how to order it if not found exactly on the menu. Well, I wanted six pieces of chicken and five biscuits. Unfortunately, Popeyes does not have that on the menu yet, even though I’ve sent multitudes of corporate emails requesting that they list this as,“the mark” to of no avail. Well at least in my mind I did…
When I tried to explain to the attendant what my order was, he easily translated it into two number 5 dinner meals that came with the biscuit and then of course altered my sides to get me the best price on what I was ordering. Not only did I drive away happy, but I left a few dollars richer.
The chicken wings were as usual, perfectly fried sliding off the bone and crispy. The biscuits were hot and wonderful and likely, I will be running an extra 3 miles on the treadmill due to this today. But all well worth it!
