Not too happy with this visit– not enough meat in my burrito– it was mostly rice and beans. My husbands carne asada was WAY over cooked– the meat was white. Prob won’t be coming back.

Had the worst food and service ever. Ordered chicken tortilla soup and got chicken potato soup with some tortilla strips on top. No spice or flavor at all. Steak fajitas were horrible, meat was tough and flavorless too. Service matched the food quality. Had been excited to try this restaurant but was so disappointed.

All three of us ordered something different. No flavor. Underwhelming. No bueno. Not busy, but slow service. Took a long time to get our food. Never going back. Should have read the reviews first.

Salsa was yummy, tacos and chile rellano(sp) were quite good. I didn’t care for the brand but my husband liked them. Portions were plentiful. With three tacos, I am full and have lunch for tomorrow.

great Family Mexican food restaurant. only 1 minute from Eastvale. we were tired of eating at taco del rio(which is the only Mexican food in Eastvale). this place makes taco del rio look like Taco Bell. if you want real Mexican food, come here, great place

Stopped here with a friend for lunch. She had the fish taco plate and I had the chile relleno/beef taco combo. First off the salsa and chips were top notch, always a plus. Her fish taco was very good even though she’s not a fan of talapia. My taco was great as was the chile relleno, but my only complaint was the sauce on the relleno. It almost had a powdery taste, maybe too much masa? Our waitress was a bit inattentive it seemed. After we got or to go box, we had to wait almost 5 minutes before seeing her again to ask for the check, like hello! Then it seemed the workers had day care there. There were several kids in the room next to us watching cartoons. Kind of strange, but not a big deal. I’d go back and I did enjoy the food.

I can’t understand the high rating for this restaurant. Husband and I had a late Sunday lunch and were encouraged by the full parking lot. I ordered the 2 item combo consisting of a cheese enchilada a beef taco and rice and beans. My husband had a chile verde burrito and a cup of menudo. Enchilada and beans were bland at best. The rice was tasteless. The shredded beef taco was horrible. The meat had a strange chemical taste and I could only handle a couple of bites. My husband said the menudo was bland and his burrito was primarily beans and cheese with very little meat. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

This was a good place we had a coupon that we received in the value pack and was going to try it out because it was close. We went in and it was very nice atmosphere very quaint Hispanic not very crowded. food was very good and came extremely fast. very inexpensive compared to the big places like El Torito. My only issue is that the waitress was hard to understand and she didn’t understand us very well. We will be going back for sure.

Was really happy with our whole experience here! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable(extremely), the service was spot on, the draft beer selection was plentiful and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be back here!

Stopped in on a Saturday around 1 for a late lunch. There were a few other diners eating. Seated immediately and was served excellent chips and salsa right away. I ordered the chili verde burrito which came out very quickly. The burrito was huge and came with a side of beans and rice. Guacamole and sour cream as well. Not as spicy as I would have liked but got some salsa«mas picante» and that spiced it up a bit. Great service, great portion size and excellent price. I will eat here again when I am in the area.

Rarely give a rating like this but for the first time I have to say this is the worst meal I’ve had dining out that I can remember. The service was nice and friendly but it wasn’t busy and it just seemed like everything was out of sync. Rice and tortillas were cold and no flavor in veggies, gristle in the beef, fajitas, shrimp all had same seasoning. I don’t know what else to say other than they need to update the décor since it’s still Italian décor from the previous restaurant. I just didn’t have a pleasant time enjoying food tonight.

We had hoped something better had come along since Red Tomato, but not for us. The salsa was the best part. The food lacked seasoning. My husband and I had shredded chicken tacos but found the tortilla shell to be hard and stale almost, like they weren’t fried right. The shredded chicken inside had no flavor. My mom order the steak /chicken fajita and said it was like the meat wasn’t even marinated but just heated up. The chicken was bland but the steak was tender and flavorful. We wished the food was better because we are always looking for new places to try. Won’t be coming back.

Great food, great customer service and VERY reasonable prices! What else can you ask for? Carne asada nachos to start it off and finish it off with a chile verde burrito. Also the new owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. I will be back again to try something new. Oh! and they will be serving alcohol very soon. Definitely recommend it.

Fajita grill is one of my new spots to eat, very yummy food, not only yummy but very authentic Mexican food… The chips & salsa are amazing, can’t get enough of them, the service is great, the servers are very prompt and helpful… What else can I say about this place, basically everything is amazing, plus guess what they have horchata, which is very tasty . So people give this place a try, I promise you wont regret it! :)

Food: 3.5 stars Facility: 3 stars Service: 0 stars Price: 4 stars Tried this place on a whim, hadn’t noticed it before, but apparently they’ve been there about three weeks. We were sat promptly and realized quickly that we’d forgotten my daughter’s cup in the car. Our behinds hadn’t even hit the seat yet when we were asked if we were ready to order. I said we’d need a minute. My husband went back to the truck to get the cup, no more than 30 seconds passed when I was asked again if we were ready. Seeing as how my husband was in the parking lot, I told her we’d… again… need another minute. My husband returned with the cup, and as he sat down we were asked again if we were ready. AGAIN — we need a minute. We briefly looked over the menu since we obviously needed to hurry. The prices were pretty reasonable, limited menu with just the names of the menu items, no description whatsoever, nothing that stood out. While we were looking over the menu we were served chips and salsa which were very good. The burrito selection is limited to red, green, carnitas, and fajita. I asked what was in the green burrito and the server(not wearing a nametag, just a white t-shirt and black jeans) said she’d have to go ask. OK — she returned and said it was meat, served with rice and beans. I asked if I had a choice in meat, she said no. OK… WHATKINDOFMEATISIT? «oh — pork.» was her response. Fine. I will have that. My husband ordered the carnitas burrito and asked for red sauce, since the menu didn’t specify. The server’s response was, «Well I think it comes with green.» Husband asked if he could have it with red instead and she said she would ask. He also asked for no beans, just rice. She said that was fine. OHGOOD — I’m glad she approved of that special request. While we were waiting, a family came in with two young boys, and it became obvious that their dad was an employee. He sat his kids and wife in a booth and went to work, however over the course of our stay there, he, as well as several other employees, came out and talked to/touched/played with the kids, and then went straight back to work. I couldn’t see if the dad, who worked in the kitchen, was washing his hands between visits with the kids, but the servers were not. GROSS. Food was delivered fairly quickly and my husband’s plate had beans on it, contrary to his request. He pointed this out to the server, nothing was ever done about it. My green burrito was very good, I was very impressed with the sauce, the meat was tender and there was a good amount of it in the burrito. My husband was less than impressed with his — the red sauce lacked flavor, and the meat was nothing special. We both were full after eating about half of our burritos. The server came by and asked if we were doing OK — we said we were good and asked for a box. She brought a box, asked if we wanted anything else, we said we didn’t. She came back 5 minutes later and asked if we needed anything else — we said we didn’t. She came back 5 minutes later and asked if we needed anything else — we said we didn’t. She came back 5 minutes later and asked if we needed anything else — we said we didn’t. OKMAYBE we should have specifically mentioned that we needed a check. MAYBE we shouldn’t have assumed that someone upon whose entire livelyhood depends on the transaction of the patron paying for their food and leaving a tip would have any discreniable desire to deliver a bill for said food… and MAYBE we shouldn’t have taken so much entertainment with how many times this cycle was repeated before my husband finally put an end to the madness and asked for the check. Once he did ask for it, however, the server wandered around the main dining room for another 8 minutes before disappearing for another 3 – 4 and THEN she finally returned with the check. We paid and left and will NOT be returning.
